Game of Thrones fans know that one of the first in the series many shocking plot twists came at the end of season one, when Lord Eddard - Stark family patriarch and pretty much the only stand-up guy in King's Landing - had his head lopped off in a public execution.

Up until then, it seemed as though Ned Stark was to serve as the show's main protagonist, and viewers assumed he would go on to play the role of the grounded (though not always particularly bright) moral compass of the show for years to come.

Usually when a character gets his head chopped off and displayed on a spike, that means it's the last we'll see of them. Even in the land of White Walkers, that's one way to make sure your foe is well and truly dead.

But a popular fan theory, coupled with a surprising new interview with the man who portrayed Ned Stark has left many wondering if the Lord of Winterfell might actually return to GoT (spoilers lie ahead):

According to an FX press release, Jax will be in jail for a parole violation when we next see him, mourning the mother of his children and interacting with Marlyn Manson as a fellow convict.

He'll also be looking to set in motion “brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution."

In a word: GULP! In another words: AWESOME!

Those who need to catch up prior to the premiere can watch Sons of Anarchy online via TV Fanatic.

Two and a Half Men has certainly known its share of controversy (see Sheen, Charlie).

So it should come as little surprise that the CBS sitcom is courting more of it heading into its final season.

Speaking to reporters today at the Television Critics Assocation summer press tour, network Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler revealed the show's main upcoming storyline.

"Walden [Ashton Kutcher] is going to have a major health scare and it's going to give him a little bit of an existential crisis," the executive teased.

Looking to "add more meaning to his life," the character will decide to adopt a child.

HOWEVER, "he realizes it's very difficult to adopt a child as a single, straight man," so "once and for all he decides I'm going to propose to Alan," Tassler explained, adding of Walden's thought process:

"We're going to get married and we're going to adopt a child as a gay couple. That's going to start the season on Two and a Half Men and I think we're off to a great ride."

You've really gotta love/completely despise Teresa Giudice.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member could be facing years in jail for financial fraud. She's lucky to be a free woman at the moment, let alone someone earning six figures for starring on a reality show.

But Giudice still has something to whine about: she feels exploited by Bravo!

Teresa Giudice on Season 6

According to a Radar Online source, Teresa can't believe producers are taking advantage of "her legal trouble for ratings,” which may be the most ridiculous complaint we've ever heard.

What, exactly, did Giudice think the show would center on when she signed up for Season 6?!?

Here she comes, Mount Midoriyama.

In a dominating performance that left Twitter buzzing last night, Kacy Catanzaro became the first woman ever to qualify for the final round of NBC's obstacle course competition, American Ninja Warrior.

The New Jersey native and Towson University alum (who weighs a mere 100 pounds) blew through each challenge and accomplished something that many Olympians and Army veterans have failed to do.

Kacy Catanzaro Owns American Ninja Warrior
Yes, Kacy Catanzaro, we're very entertained by your American Ninja Warrior prowess.

"I've seen greatness during my NFL career," said America Ninja Warrior host and former Oakland Raiders defensive end Akbar Gbaja-Biamila. "And I've been in awe of people. But I am really in awe of Kacy."

It was totally on last night between Cameron Diaz and Jimmy Fallon.

Kayak race style!

The Sex Tape star and the Tonight Show host did battle in the program's first-ever kayak-based competition, wheeling around the studios with oars and overcoming obstacles such as Hashtag Panda, swimming salmon and a guy singing the most annoying part of “Crocodile Rock.”

Who came out on top? Find out now!

Earlier this summer, Fallon impersonated Neil Young while covering Iggy Azalea with Crosby, Stills and Nash - and he also proved that parents know nothing about Harry Potter.

The Saturday Night Live shakeup continues.

A day after Brooks Wheelan confirmed via Twitter that he's been let go from the iconic sketch comedy show, sources confirm to Deadline that Noël Wells and John Milhiser are also on the way out.

Just like Wheelan, these two cast members joined SNL in September 2013.

Wells and Milhiser

Milhiser scarcely received any screen time throughout his one-season run, though he did impress with impressions of Jon Cryer and Matthew McConaughey.

Let no one ever refer to ABC Family as a liar.

All week long, the network had teased the return of A on Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 6... and return this villain definitely did last night, causing problems across the board in Rosewood.

For example, he/she/it actually filmed Alison’s mother’s burial and offered the girls a front seat for it. Lovely, huh?

The Liars, meanwhile, got together to talk about the the possibility of Shana NOT being A (NOTE: She’s clearly not), yet no one wants to accept this as truth, least of all Alison.

Afraid for her life, Ali chose to ignore her friends’ wishes and depart town, heading for Princeton, where Noel will be waiting to pick her up.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 6 premiere featured plenty of drama and a handful of new Housewives, yet somehow brought in some of the most dismal audience numbers in the series' history.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Cast Photo

Bravo producers had hoped the drama surrounding the Teresa Giudice court case, and the addition of several new cast members would draw in viewers who had abandoned the show in past seasons.

But not even the return of Dina Manzo proved sufficient to boost RHONJ's ailing ratings.

The season 6 premiere turned in just over 2 million viewers - about the same as when the series premiered in 2009 and all of the ladies were unknowns.

Worse, RHONJ's numbers in the key 18-49 year old demographic were lower than they've ever been.
