Sleepy Hollow centers around the resurrection of Ichabod Crane in modern day New York.

He's on a mission from George Washington to stop one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from regaining his skull and putting an end to mankind in the process.

In other words: the new Fox series, which kicked off tonight following the Bones Season 9 premiere, is totally and utterly insane. But it knows it's totally and utterly insane - and that's why it may become a surprise hit for the network.

Not every series can be Breaking Bad. Not every show aims to win an Emmy.

Bones is back with new cases, new (and old) faces, and one name on everyone's mind: Pelant.

Where is he? Who knows? Maybe the clock-radios!

Check out our THG recap here and then head over to the Bones review for "The Secrets In The Proposal" for the full run-down and discussion.

  • Everybody Hates Booth: With absolutely no one on his side, Booth turns to former priest and current bartender and friend Aldo Clemens to make his confession and tell someone--anyone--what's going on with Pelant. Their mutual decision made inside a walk-in cooler? Pelant must die. (Like we didn't already know that.)
  • Heartbreak! Brennan: Brennan is understandably heartbroken by Booth calling off their engagement. So heartbroken that three months later they're still living together but she's finally pushing him away and thinks that he might be cheating and/or he just wants to have a final fling before settling down, despite the fact that flings are way not his style and he tells her how much he loves her every chance he gets.

More zombies are on the way to AMC.

The network confirmed today that a Walking Dead "companion" series is in the works, with a trio of familiar names - Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert - on board to serve as executive producers.

“Building on the success of the most popular show on television for adults 18-49 is literally a no-brainer,” Charlie Collier, AMC’s president and general manager, said in a statement. “We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters. It’s a big world and we can’t wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse.”

The Walking Dead Season 4 kicks off on October 13, while Kirkman added via press release:

NCIS Season 11 premieres one week from tomorrow with an episode shaping up to be as memorable as any in the CBS show's decade-long history.

An extended version of the preview for "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" focuses on the impending, emotional departure of Cote de Pablo's Ziva David.

While that alone would make for gripping television, it appears to be woven into an explosive and intricate story in typical NCIS fashion. Take a look:

The premiere will feature an explosion that takes the life of someone close to the agency and changes Parsons’ perspective on Gibbs, along with the team.

Who dies? How might this play a role in Ziva's farewell? And who is targeting the NCIS agents, last seen resigning en masse in an effort to save Gibbs?

Will Cote de Pablo's decision to exit the series, ironically, be the event that finally brings Tiva together, if only for one fleeting moment to start the season?

We'll find out when NCIS Season 11 begins September 24.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey returns and "The Blonde Drops a Bombshell"…or did she? We break down the rumors and ridiculous set ups in THG's +/- recap!

The Biggest Tongue

The Housewives once again gave us bad singing and even worse fake meetings. It was hard to figure out which was more cringe worthy.

Let's start with Melissa Gorga's singing talent. Minus 50. Please God, I beg you, make all Housewives end their supposed musical careers.

Seriously. It's nothing but painful for both the audience and the professionals that Bravo pays to come in and critique them.

Grant Gustin has been cast as Barry Allen/Flash on Arrow Season 2 and the potential spinoff thereafter, a rep for the hit CW show has just confirmed.

Grant Gustin Pic

Gustin will appear in three episodes, two in the first half of the season and one near the end which will be the backdoor pilot for a potentially new show.

Barry Allen is a “forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past."

Fittingly, comic book fanboys know that Barry, a comic book fanboy himself, doubles as Flash, who may anchor his own CW series. Says the network:

"Barry is obsessed with the Arrow unaware that working with Oliver and Felicity to solve the crime brought him right into the dangerous world of the vigilante.”
