Some used to be married... with children.

Others formerly taught us the facts of life.

And still others came together to comprise a special sisterhood, one that was centered on some traveling pants.

Seventh Heaven
Mackenzie Rosman wasn't available for this Seventh Heaven reunion because she was too busy posing in lingerie and trying to shed her child star image.

Indeed, over the past few weeks, a number of memorable television and movie casts have come back together, much to the excitement of fans who thought they could only see these folks if they decided to watch TV online or watch movies online.

That remains true, but it's also now true that you can be taken back in time by clicking through the following photo gallery.

We've compiled these reunion in one place. Flip through the slides below and enjoy!

Fans of The Originals and The Vampire Diaries are in for a treat, as TVD star Nina Dobrev will soon help connect the universes of the two CW hits.

Nina Dobrev looking gorge in a swimsuit. She looks gorge in anything really.

Julie Plec - who created both series - explained the crossover and the type of role Dobrev will play on The Originals during a recent interview with E! News.

Plec says Dobrev will play an irresistibly "alluring" doppelganger named Tatia who had romantic dalliances with two main characters.

"She was mentioned in season 3 in association with both Klaus and Elijah, and how they became vampires, and a girl they both loved who was the original doppelganger," says Plec.

"So Nina Dobrev will be visiting The Originals for a nice little storyline in our fifth episode which airs November 3."

ABC executives woke up to very good news this morning.

Viewers around the country apparently chose NOT to watch TV online Thursday, considering the very impressive ratings put up by the Scandal Season 4 premiere and How to Get Away with Murder series premiere.

First, Scandal Season 4 Episode 1 set a high mark for the drama, as 11.9 million households tune in overall and the show garnered a huge 3.9 rating among 18-49-year olds.

But How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 1 actually shot past these figures, tying Scandal in the latter ratings department and bringing in a total of 14 million viewers.

Class was in session on How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 1.

Actually, correction: KILLING class was in session on this new offering from producer Shonda Rhimes.

The new series kicked off on ABC last night with Viola Davis as Annalise Keating, a strict professor at Middleton University who immediately challenged her students to solve some of her law firm’s most difficult cases.

After doing so, Keating chose the best, brightest and most promising to actually work for her… but will they regret being selected?

Yesterday, HBO confirmed that Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn will star in True Detective season 2.

If the series' second go-round was set to be structured like the first season, then all our major casting questions would basically be answered.

But creator Nic Pizzolatto has stated that the show will feature an ensemble cast this time, rather than simply focusing on the lives of two partnered cops as it did in season one.

In a move that surprised many (and that might be a reaction to criticism for perceived misogynistic undertones in season one) Pizzolatto revealed several months ago that the show will now feature at least one female lead.

While a number of A-list names have been tossed about (Jessica Chastain shot down casting rumors back in May), no actresses have been confirmed for the coveted role. That may have changed today:

  • Taylor Kitsch

Variety is now reporting that Rachel McAdams has been offered the part of a cop who partners with Farrell's Detective Ray Velcoro to help unravel a city-wide conspiracy in Los Angeles.

No Damon. No Stefan. No Elena. No Bonnie.

The CW has released a handful of photos from The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1 (titled "I'll Remember"), but they don't feature any of the main characters.

Instead, we hone in below on a returning Alaric, fresh off time spent on The Other Side (and a failed CW series, but let's move past that) and on a very angry Tyler, who looks to be going after Luke for some reason.

Where are Bonnie and Damon? That question will hang over The Vampire Diaries Season 6 for a few weeks.

As for Elena? We hear she'll be studying medicine... and taking some witchy drugs to make her hallucinate her presumed dead boyfriend. Stefan, meanwhile, will have left Mystic Falls to mourn Damon in his own way.

So none of them are included in this gallery. But click through it now to get some idea of what's on tap.

Tyler Attacks!
Whoa there! Rage much, Tyler! This character is back in full force on The Vampire Diaries season premiere. Good luck with that, Luke.

When Joan Rivers passed away earlier this month at the age of 81, many wondered if her cultishly popular E! series, Fashion Police, would continue on without her.

Fortunately, for fans of style and snarky commentary, E! announced last week that Fashion Police will return for another season.

Following the announcement, of course, another big question loomed: who would take on the unenviable task of filling the huge, chic shoes of Ms. Rivers?

Well, we may have our answer today, as multiple outlets are reporting that Kathy Griffin will join the show as the fourth co-host on the panel.

Griffin has apparently already cleared one major hurdle by receiving the blessing of Joan's daughter, Melissa Rivers:

Rich Wilkerson Jr. is getting his own reality show.

Who?!?? you may be wondering. Why, Rich Wilkerson Jr., of course, the pastor who officiated the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding in May.

Wilkerson and his wife, DawnCheré (that’s reportedly her name) will anchor an upcoming Oxygen series that centers on their “modern approach to preaching,” according to E! News.

It will be titled The Wilkersons and it will executive produced Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy!

Rich Wilkerson Jr. and Kanye

"Producing this show has been a dream of mine, I'm thrilled that Oxygen has given us this platform," Kennedy tells E! News. "Rich and DawnCheré are some of the most fascinating people I've ever been around. I can't believe we get to finally share their story with the world.

Let's just face it at this point, television viewers:

The world belongs to NCIS. We simply live in it.

Last night on CBS, viewers headed to The Big Easy on NCIS New Orleans Season 1 Episode 1, as Scott Bakula led a new team of NCIS agents in one of the world's most iconic cities.

Bakula's Special Agent Dwayne Pride is a man who loves New Orleans, especially its jazz and its gumbo. He doesn't love its criminal underbelly, but he does take, well, pride in putting them away.

Pride is known as “King,” he's a native of New Orleans and he's driven by his need to do what is right.

It's an exciting day for fans or eerie crime drama and boozy, philosophical bromances.

After months of rumors we've finally learned that the second season of HBO's acclaimed cop anthology True Detective will star Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn in two of the lead roles.

  • Colin Farrell Picture
  • Vince Vaughn Picture

If it feels as though time is a flat circle and you've heard all this before, well you may have:

Farrell was cast way back in June, but kept the role under his hat until yesterday. Naturally, rumors abounded on the web, regardless.

Similarly, we reported in August Vaughn would star in season 2, but motor-mouth Vince had been uncharacteristically tight-lipped prior to confirming the news today.

According to the the network's description of the new season, Farrell and Vaughn won't be partnered up on an investigation a la McConaughey and Harrelson, but will instead play a veteran cop and a career criminal, respectively.
