Tweeting that he is not one of new Chairman Jeff Zucker's "peeps," Roland Martin announced yesterday that he is leaving CNN.

The political contributor's final day at the network will be April 6.

Martin made headlines for all the wrong reasons in February, Tweeting what many considered to be a homophobic remark when he referenced a David Beckham underwear commercial and wrote:

"If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham's H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!"

A supposed resemblance between President Barack Obama and an actor who plays the Devil on HISTORY's new series The Bible is causing controversy.

Conservative commentator Glenn Beck was among the first to take to Twitter to note similarities between Obama and Mohamen Mehdi Ouzaani:

  • The Bible Devil
  • Prez Obama

A slew of tweets, Facebook posts, commentaries and other responses soon followed, many from Obama supporters who weren't pleased by the comparison.

Beck, among others, say that Satan from The Bible miniseries - a monster hit for HISTORY with over 10 million viewers - resembles an older version of Obama.

Executive produced by Survivor and Apprentice creator Mark Burnett, the show and its reps had no comment on the matter, nor has the network.

What do you think? Do you see a resemblance? If so, do you think it was intentionally done by the producers? And regardless, does it even matter?

UPDATE: HISTORY and the show's executive producers have issued a statement:

The ghost of Biggie Smalls - as well as the late rapper's children - are set to star in a new animated TV show. Seriously. This is an actual project.

The show will focus on Biggie Smalls' offspring and how they're running his New York recording studio, producers from Ossian Media said.

House of Wallace will star T'yanna Wallace, 19, and C.J. Wallace, 16, voicing their animated likenesses. The hip-hop legend's kids said in a statement:

Biggie Smalls Ghost

"It's been 16 years since our Dad was murdered and we miss him dearly."

The person(s) responsible for hacking celebrities' finances apparently like to think of themselves as heroes as well as outlaws ... a la Dexter Morgan.

At the top of the hackers' website is the line, "If you believe that God makes miracles, you have to wonder if Satan has a few up his sleeve."

This is one of the most memorable Dexter quotes:

The hackers' love for the Showtime series/protagonist apparently runs as deep as their dislike for Michelle Obama, the most famous of their celeb targets.

The website's source code also apparently includes a link to a hidden YouTube video that doesn't appear anywhere on the actual page.

The video is the Dexter end credits theme music.

Is the King of All Media preparing to conquer a new realm?

With rumors circulating that Jay Leno will announce his retirement this May and hand over reigns of The Tonight Show to Jimmy Fallon in 2014, The New York Post now reports that NBC has already selected its ideal replacement for the 12:35 a.m. time slot:

Howard Stern.

Sources tell the newspaper Stern is being "groomed" by the network to move into late night television, as executives are thrilled with his work on America's Got Talent.

Are you down with this idea? Should Howard Stern replace Jimmy Fallon?

The Native American community is very unhappy with CBS at the moment.

And not for any of the filth we hear each week out of the mouths of 2 Broke Girls.

Instead, a rep for the Navajo Nation tells TMZ that his people take major exception to a Mike & Molly line uttered recently by Mike's mother on the sitcom.

"Why would I move to Arizona?" she asked on an episode. "It's nothing but a furnace full of drunk Indians."

It's 9021-Over, folks.

The CW has announced that it will be pulling the plug on the drama this May, as horrid ratings for 90210 Season 5 should make this anything but a surprise for loyal viewers.

The series now averages nearly half a million viewers per week and earns a .3 rating in the all-important demographic of 18-49-year olds. That's really, really bad. Even if it were on NBC.

Duck Dynasty sent a very clear message to Morrissey this week: suck it, vegan!

The A&E series returned last night to record ratings, as 8.6 million viewers tuned in to watch these hunters do their thing, making the episode the most watched telecast in series history - and cable's most watched reality telecast of 2013.

Prior to its airing, the program got an unexpected PR boot from the aforementioned British artist, who canceled an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday because these "animal serial killers" were also scheduled as guests.
