Well, it's official: television is out of ideas.

For reasons that defy comprehension, NBC announced yesterday that Craig T. Nelson will reprise his role as Hayden Fox in a rebooted version of the sitcom Coach.

Fox has confirmed that The X-Files will return as an event series in 2016, with six new episodes of the iconic drama planned and with stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson on board to reprise their roles as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

Series star Evan Marriott wasn't really named Joe and, more importantly, he wasn't really a millionaire. He was a 28-year-old construction worker, who - with the help of Fox producers - duped 20 single women into thinking he was incredibly wealthy.

Unless you were exiled to a distant land after your family was defeated in Robert's Rebellion, then you're probably aware that Game of Thrones season 5 will soon be upon us.

We've received a few crumbs of information, such as the reveal that season 5 contains some "shocking deaths" (Doesn't every season?), but for the most part producers have been so tight-lipped about the plot that a session in Ramsay Bolton's Dreadfort couldn't get them to squeal.
