Remember when X17 - a celebrity photo agency - made the tiny mistake of accusing Tony Parker of having an affair with model Alexandra Paressant? Despite the fact that, you know, the Spurs guard had never met the gold digger?
Well, months later, the company posted an apology to Parker and wife Eva Longoria:
“X17online.com and X7 [sic], Inc. regret having been misled by Ms. Paressant and her representatives and apologize to Mr. Parker for any damage or inconvenience this may have caused him or his wife.”
In a related story, Ashley Dupre would like to apologize to Eliot Spitzer for any inconvenience her charging him money for sex may have caused.
Simply stating that he has never met Alexandra Paressant isn’t enough for Tony Parker.
The basketball star has filed a lawsuit against X17, the celebrity photo agency that posted articles and text messages alleging that he cheated on Eva Longoria shortly after the couple were married.
TMZ has obtained the suit’s documents, in which Parker claims X17 defamed him: “X17 had to know that the story was false, or at the very least, it had to have entertained serious doubts about the credibility of its supposed source.”
X17 was not shy in stating that Alexandra Paressant had “an affair with Mr. Eva Longoria and that the two carried on a secret relationship for about two months.”
Tony Parker is taking action, filing a lawsuit and basically saying: “I’ve seen Eva Longoria nude. Why would I cheat?!?”
According to the lawsuit, Parker is especially baffled that the company did not try to “verify the information with Mr. Parker, Ms. Longoria, any of their representatives or….anyone else who might have knowledge of the truth or falsity of the allegations.”
The suit seeks $20 million and adds: “Tony Parker has never had sexual relations with a woman named Alexandra Paressant.”
Now, if only John Edwards would follow this example and file a suit against Rielle Hunter, it might go a long way toward clearing his name.

“Tony adamantly and unconditionally denies ever having laid eyes on this woman, let alone having had an affair with her,” said Stanton “Larry” Stein of the firm Dreier Stein & Kahan. “The allegations of the supposed affair are entirely false and fabricated.”
As for the news that both Jamie Lynn and Lily Allen were knocked up? Stein had no comment.

The attention-seeking model won’t shut up, however, saying Parker has told her he wasn’t want kids and replied to her question about the public finding out about their affair with: “People can think whatever they want.”
In the end, we’d still like to believe Longoria’s rep, Liza Anderson. She said:
“These allegations are completely, 100% false and untrue. All high profile couples fall victim to these sorts of things in the course of their relationships. It appears that this is not the first time this woman has used an athlete to gain public notoriety.”

Then as a Fourth of July surprise, Parker arranged to fly with his bride-to-be to France’s picturesque Mont Saint-Michel, a 6th-century medieval citadel nestled within a large sea-fed inlet bay celebrated for its isolation and captivating views.
Yes, folks, this couple really is that cute. And not in the Nick Lachey/Vanessa Minnillo, take-you-from-behind-in-a-hot-tub cute sort of way. Although that’s probably happened with these two, also.
