Tom Brady and the Patriots are huge favorites, but Eli Manning’s baby face and Southern charm might make the Super Bowl hunk watch closer than you think!

The New England Patriots are 18-0, and one Super Bowl victory away from what many thought to be impossible - a historic, perfect season.

But has their leader come up lame?

Photographs and video from TMZ show Tom Brady wearing what appears to be a walking cast while in New York yesterday. The Boston Herald reported that Brady - flowers in hand - was visiting his girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen.

Clearly wearing a cast in this photo, Tom Brady did not deny that he suffered an injury during Sunday’s AFC Championship Game victory over San Diego.

“You know, there’s always bumps and bruises. I’ll be ready for the Super Bowl,” Brady said in an interview with a Boston radio station.

“I’m not worried about that. I’m not missing this one. I would have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will be treatment this week. In games like this, you get a little nicked up. It’s nothing serious.”

Maybe some relaxation with Gisele Bundchen will help Brady recover in time for the Patriots’ Super Bowl matchup against the New York Giants February 3.

As for his adversary in that game?

Giants quarterback Eli Manning was probably spending time with his significant other (fiancee Abby McGrew). We don’t have any pics, though, sadly.

With an 18-0 record so far this season and a supermodel girlfriend in Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady has been nothing short of perfect as a player.

But the New England Patriots star’s Super Bowl XLII quarterbacking foe, Eli Manning, has performed pretty well in both departments, too.

Manning, who will lead the New York Giants against the Patriots February 3, got engaged to Abby McGrew in March 2007. Eli Manning’s fiancee is studying fashion in New York, and has dated him since both attended Ole Miss.

Well, there you have it! Not only is New England 9-0, but they’ve got the sexiest man on Earth leading the way in Tom Brady. Surely Gisele Bundchen agrees.

With the New England Patriots enjoying their bye week, Tom Brady hung out on both U.S. coasts, finding some quality time for fatherly activities in Los Angeles, where his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Bridget Moynahan, resides.

But if you’re looking for drama in SoCal, you’d better stick to The Hills. The Pats’ quarterback spent most of the time in L.A. laying low with three-month-old John Edward Thomas Moynahan. Although he did get down and dirty at times.

The publication says the football star has been offered $1 million or more to be a CK underwear stud following in the footsteps of others such as Boston’s own Mark Wahlberg, whose stint served him (and the ladies) very well.
