When it comes to the world of online dating, some people just...well...

They just shouldn't do it. They're creepy, weird, or overly forward.

Or just plain disgusting. Or all of the above.

It's just not for everyone is our point.

Mirror Mirror
On the wall...this guy is terrible. The most terrible of them all.

Maybe they're punking everyone else on Tinder and OKCupid, but something tells us these 25 people who totally fail at online dating are actually serious.

Seriously screwed up, no doubt. But there's no doubting their sincerity.

Amazingly enough, sometimes these insanely absurd messages don't make their recipients run for the nearest convent! Sometimes, they WORK!

Check out a gallery of some of the more unlikely successes below:

First there was a/s/l, then there was eHarmony. Now? Now there's Tinder, the social media app used to match singles to other singles in their immediate area.

This can be used for the purposes of hanging out, hooking up, or, in some cases, happily ever after. None of which are likely to happen for Jarrod Allen.

Not after the women of Tinder get a look at his Instagram profile, at least. @Tinderella, guys. Go check it out. Why? Well, because...

They're even in the garden! Perfect! Watch out for (trouser) snakes!

Allen, 25, has taken to recreating the Tinder profile photos of various women with whom he shares a zip code in hilarious parodies which probably make Weird Al Yankovic proud.

Andy Cohen officially has joined the dating application Tinder in search of true love. Or at least whatever you'd call the stuff people say and send on Tinder.

The application is a no-holds-barred service matching people pretty much choose each other solely on looks, location and perhaps a witty “about me” blurb.

Yay for Andy Cohen!

Based on a user’s preference, Tinder produces a bunch of “results” or people - each profile can hold up to six pictures and an "about me" - for review.

Users swipe left (not interested) or right (interested); if both parties happen to have swiped right, it’s a match! If there’s a match, the two parties can chat.

Kind of awesome concept for a dating app ... or at least hooking up with tech-savvy hotties who happen to be nearby. It was a hit at the Olympic village.

In Cohen's case, during an interview with Larry King, the 46-year-old Bravo producer demonstrated how the app worked and even “matched” with someone.

“He has a nice body,” King said.

We're sure he does ... but check out some of the best Tinder messages of all time to see what nonsense Andy could be in for if he pursues him:

The hookup app used by athletes in Sochi, where an estimated 100,000 condoms were distributed in Olympic village, Tinder is rapidly gaining popularity among regular people looking for everything from dates to commitment-less sex with those nearby.

Kim Jong NOPE
This wins Tinder. Forever and ever.

This has given us a whole new avenue of social media to explore when it comes to the best, and worst, of people saying stuff to potential significant others.

Y'all, the things people are saying on Tinder are hilarious. And also slightly horrifying, as our 21 best/worst Tinder messages list above makes undeniably clear.

From straight up asking for sex from strangers to speaking in code and hoping the recipient can decipher your meaning to responding in emoji, there's something for everyone.

But, for the love of everything, please don't let our parents know this exists.

They're already terrible enough at using phones, as these epic texting fails from moms prove. Can you imagine if we turned them loose on Tinder?

American snowboarder Jamie Anderson is looking for a hottie.

She told UsWeekly in an interview that the Tinder app - designed to help make hook-ups even easier for the young and beautiful - was a lot of fun to use in the Olympic Village.

"Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level. It's all athletes! In the mountain village it's all athletes. It's hilarious. There are some cuties on there," Anderson told the magazine.

But the co-founder of Tinder isn't exactly excited about the publicity. He wants Anderson to think less about that kind of scoring and more on her snowboarding scores.

Justin Mateen told TMZ, "Tinder will always be here when you're done."

"Tinder is a great way to meet new people when you're traveling and want to get the most out of your experience in a new city, but for now, focus on giving it your all while competing"

Clearly Jamie Anderson wasn't too distracted - she took home the gold medal in the Women's Slopestyle Event on Feb. 9.

Check out the other hot athletes hanging around the Olympic Villiage... and maybe using Tinder too?
