The Voice is back for a second week of blind auditions, with Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine vying for the top talent.

There was no shortage of it last night, and with a show that seems to feature momentum changes and new fan favorites with each song, it’s anyone’s game.

Let's break down last night's blind audition contestants, shall we?

Preston Pohl, who  grew up performing in a Christian rock band until his mentor passed away, brought charisma and funk to MGMT’s “Electric Feel."

His originality and creativity really made the night, as the coaches swooned over him. Even Christina, who did not turn around, soon wished she had.

Adam begged and pleaded with the singer and ultimately his passion won out over the other two coaches / salesmen as Preston Pohl joined his team.

Holly Henry, 19, emerged as an early frontrunner on The Voice Season 5 with her rendition of "The Scientist" by Coldplay. All four coaches turned to watch!

Her performance blended delicacy and vulnerability with superb vocal stylings. When the cameras showed her brother crying, he likely wasn't alone.

Watch your back, Tessanne Chin. You've got real competition:

All four superstars pushed their buttons and swiveled around in their spaceship chairs, though Christina Aguilera was a late holdout. It may have cost her.

Aguilera tried to lure her with their female connection, Adam Levine praised her range and Cee Lo Green told Holly that she was beautifully unique.

But it was Blake Shelton who turned around first, telling the singer, “Because of you I'm officially excited about Season 5 of The Voice right now."

And she's now on his team. Think she's as good as advertised?

Is Tessanne Chin already the frontrunner to win The Voice? To hear Adam Levine tell it, yes. It's too soon to really tell, but there's no doubt she's got talent.

Adam made last night's biggest gain (see The Voice recap) as he lured Tessanne onto his team. The other three coaches turned their chairs as well.

The 28-year-old, an experienced reggae singer from Kingston, Jamaica, tore into Pink's “Try” with enough passion to make all four music stars take notice.

A former backup singer for reggae legend Jimmy Cliff (who sent her a good luck message), she blended raw emotion and technical skill. Take a look:

What do you think? Does she have what it takes to win The Voice? Or at least make it to the fifth season's final run of episodes? Share your comments below.

After a typically strong premiere Monday, night two of The Voice proved almost, if not just as entertaining as the first as Season 5 looks terrific so far.

On the premiere, the show-stopper was Michael Schuler. On night two, it was Tessanne Chin, a woman who Adam boldly said should win The Voice.

Yes, on night one.

Tessanne, 28, had the judges going all-in from the get go.

The final performer of the evening, singing “Try” by Pink, had all four chairs turned around and facing her before she even made it to the song’s chorus.

Adam proclaimed, “You could easily win The Voice this season.” Whether that was just a sales pitch to snag her or not, we can't say, but it worked.

Will she live up to the hype in the coming weeks? Time will tell, but the Jamaican native certainly made a name for herself on the stage Tuesday night.

Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton kicked off The Voice Season 5 premiere with a rendition of "I Love Rock & Roll" last night.

The quartet, reunited after Xtina and Cee Lo took last season off, showed no signs of rust in belting out the rock anthem by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

It was pretty fun. Check it out if you missed it ...

While Usher and Shakira were strong fill-ins, and will be missed in their own right, it was great to see Christina and Cee Lo back and raring to go.

Among the highlights of the fifth-season opener:

Nic Hawk, a contestant on The Voice Season 5, made his decision to join Team Adam Levine after blatantly hitting on the handsome Maroon 5 frontman.

Hawk, one of eight singers to advance on The Voice season premiere, got two coaches to turn around in his blind audition: Adam and Cee Lo Green.

Nic hesitated for a moment before confessing to Adam, "My only problem is that I don't know if I'd be able to focus, because you're so good-looking!"

In response, Levine covered his face with a notepad, reacting like a seventh-grader trying to decide how to feel about his apparent crush's feelings.

"Go with your heart!" Christina Aguilera advised Hawk, who did.

Briana Cuoco, sister of The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco, is ready to step out of her sibling's shadow when she auditions for The Voice in Season 5.

During NBC's The Voice Season 5 premiere, host Carson Daly told Briana Cuoco that she would soon be auditioning for Christina, CeeLo, Blake and Adam.

Kaley Cuoco, 27, beamed with pride as her younger sibling got the good news.

Briana may not be a household name like her sister, but she has been involved with several hit TV shows, including The Mentalist and The Newsroom.

She was also in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, where she befriended the cast and choreographed a flash mob as a surprise for the show's creators.

Matthew Schuler of The Voice set what is believed to be a record last night by getting every judge's chair to turn around before he even finished his first note.

Seriously. Right out of the gate, there was no more sought after singer on The Voice Season 5 premiere or on any blind audition episode since 2011.

Watch his performance below!

The 20-year-old college student took the stage to perform Young the Giant's "Cough Syrup," and made his mark within mere seconds of his a cappella opening.

A battle royale broke out between Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, with the newly-returned Xtina claiming the young talent.

It was a bold move to go with her, but Matthew Schuler has immediately made her a threat to take down back to back to back reigning champ coach Blake.

Think Matt made the right choice? And were his vocal stylings worth of the rapid-fire chair-turning that we saw on The Voice season premiere? Discuss!

The Voice is back for a fifth season on NBC! The format remains the same, and after a one-season hiatus, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo are back.

Was that a good thing on night one? Did you prefer Usher and Shakira or are you happy the original duo is back with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine?

More importantly, did the blind auditions live up to their billing?

The Voice Season 5 Photo

Unlike ABC's Dancing With the Stars results show, there was no format change here. Just the tried and true magic that has made The Voice so great.

After the coaches came together to start the new season, they got down to business, bantering and competing for the talented singers who gave it their all.

Most notably ...

Matthew Schuler got all four coaches to turn around in like the first 15 milliseconds of his rendition of “Cough Syrup” and earned a spot on Team Christina.

That was fast.

The Voice winner Danielle Bradbery has been signed to Big Machine Records, the same record label as none other than Taylor Swift herself.

What's more, the teenager who edged Michelle Chamuel for the title is scheduled to begin recording her debut album as early as next week!

On Tuesday night's dramatic season finale, Danielle Bradbery beat out Chamuel and the Swon Brothers to be named The Voice of Season 4.

"You are an amazing coach and an amazing person, I love you coach," she told Blake Shelton, who has mentored three straight champs.

Shelton called Danielle "the most important" winner the NBC show has boasted to date, and has made no secret of his high hopes for her.

What do you think: Did she deserve to win?
