Christina Aguilera and Flo Rida teamed up for a performance of their new song "How I Feel" to kick off the first live show of The Voice Season 5 Monday night.

Regardless of how she feels, she looks amazing. The star's weight loss and svelte body were on display in a sheer body suit, and wow, fans. Just wow.

Before watching Team Adam and Team Blake go for broke (see The Voice recap) Aguilera reigned in a low-cut black blazer, nude tights and black top hat.

Midway through the song, Xtina removed her blazer to reveal she was wearing an ultra-sexy, see-through suit that exposed a black bra and tiny shorts.

In a word, nice.

Looking better than ever, Aguilera strutted across the stage while belting out her hit. Tonight, her team takes the stage, as does Cee Lo's. No pressure, peeps.

It's all on the line for the top 20 singers of The Voice Season 5, who take the stage for their first live show performances this week on the NBC stable.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton’s teams were first on tap last night, as some crumbled under the pressure while others soared with some solid covers.

If last night was any indication, Blake Shelton's three-season reign at the top may be tenuous. Let's take a look at the singers' performances Monday ...

Team Adam Levine's Tessanne Chin, the show-stopping Jamaican singer, closed the episode with “Many Rivers to Cross” by Jimmy Cliff, and it was terrific.

James Wolpert channeled his experience with collegiate a cappella and his struggles for money for a heartfelt take on Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.”

The Voice knockout round concluded during a two-hour Tuesday episode, with the singers picking their own songs and hoping to outperform a teammate.

At stake? A spot in the live shows, starting next week.

For the first time, each coach can steal during this sudden-death round as well. So who's on to the finals and who's going home with a broken dream?

Let's break down The Voice knockout round below!

Lina Gaudenzi vs. Preston Pohl (Team Adam)

Gaudenzi opted for Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" to spotlight her, while Preston stayed upbeat with a rendition of Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry."

Both were strong performances and came down to a matter of taste, not a win on technical merit. And as such, Levine went with his gut and saved Pohl.

WINNER: Preston!

The Voice coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton were back to chop their teams in half once again last night.

Yes, the Battle Round is over and the Knockout Round has begun. At times, the format of the show still feels like the focal point and not the singing.

That's not to say the singing is second-rate, however, as the contestants proved last night. It's just that it's hard to really see the artists evolve sometimes.

In a new twist of Season 5, each coach is given one final steal as well. So let's have at it with our rundown of last night's Knockouts / battles / whatever!

UPDATE: The teams are set heading into next week's back-to-back-to-back live shows. Follow the link for a recap of the second half of The Voice knockout round!

Briana Cuoco vs. Shelbie Z. (Team Blake)

Kaley Cuoco’s sister, stolen from Xtina’s team, chose No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak,” but couldn't hold up against Shelbie on Carrie Underwood’s “Last Name.”

Green and Aguilera applauded Shelbie’s charisma as well as her talent, while Blake said she “flat-out out-sings the other” before moving her forward.

Winner: Shelbie!

The final night of The Voice Season 5 battle round saw Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton pair off their few remaining contestants.

With Ed Sheeran, Ryan Tedder, Miguel and Cher joining in as guest mentors, who would emerge victorious and move on? Who would head home crushed?

Let's break down the final duels of the fall below ...

Olivia Henken vs. Stephanie Anne Johnson (Team Christina): “Done”

The Band Perry’s wordy track proved a challenge, but the two brought their best to this terrific battle, resulting in a split decision among the judges.

Green and Levine loved Johnson’s grit, while Shelton opted for Henken for powering the country song. Aguilera awarded Henken for her consistency.

Cee Lo them quickly swooped in and stole her rival.

WINNER: Olivia
STEAL: Stephanie by Cee Lo

The battle rounds continued on Season 5 of The Voice last night, and we were treated to some impressive clashes as the singers fought for survival.

Which aspiring star ended up heading home while others advanced to sing another week? And who was granted a last-second stay via the steal?

Let's break down all six battles from Monday night below!

Josh Logan vs. Michael Lynch (Team Christina): “Harder To Breathe” by Maroon 5

Somehow, neither of them really knew the words to Adam's hit and Christina had them a little nervous ... both in that dress and with her vocal talents.

She tried to get them both amped up, but when it came time for the battle, Michael was more so. However, it was Josh who showed superior vocal control.

WINNER: Josh

The Voice featured three more full head-to-head performances Tuesday in a condensed, hour-long version of Monday night's Battle Round premiere.

While none quite compared to the epic battle between Jacquie Lee and Briana Cuoco on Monday, some of the singers did a pretty decent job.

Who moved on? Who's headed home? Who was stolen? With just 12 more battles and four steals left to go, come along for The Voice recap!

Jacob Poole vs. Matthew Schuler (Team Christina), "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark"

Matthew was the clear favorite going in, and Jacob more than held his own, with the guys just giving it their all and turning in the night's top effort

But the favorite ended up triumphing in the end. "I just thank you for taking in everything I had to give," Coach Christina tells them, and picks Matthew.

The Voice can be an emotional rollercoaster. Half the singers picked up by a coach after the blind auditions can be dispatched immediately in the battles.

Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green pair the contestants up for sudden-death duets. One wins, one goes home. Boom.

Unless, that is, one of the other coaches presses the button to “steal” a singer cast off from other rosters. That great new twist proved vital last night.

Let's break down the first battle rounds of The Voice Season 5!

Briana Cuoco vs. Jacquie Lee: “House of the Rising Sun” (Team Christina)

The female rockers were assigned to put their stamp on this classic, and while Kaley Cuoco’s sister stood out at first, the high schooler took command.

Aguilera opted for Lee, at which point Green and Shelton immediately pushed their buttons to make the steal. Briana Cuoco joined Team Blake.

Night five of The Voice blind auditions showed us that with only eight spots left to fill before we move on, the competition was more intense than ever!

Who blew away Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton last night and earned their tickets to Season Five's Battle Rounds?

Let's take a look at the latest group of contenders ...

Adam Levine only had two spots on his team, and returning contestant Matt Cermanski, singing John Hiatt‘s ”Have a Little Faith in Me,” claimed the first.

“He was mine from the first note,” Adam said.

Wedding singer Grey (just one fame) who belted a powerful rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s “Catch My Breath,” got three coaches to turn, but picked Adam.

Kaley Cuoco is speaking out in defense of her sister Briana's audition on The Voice Monday night, denying that any tampering was done on her behalf.

Briana and Kaley Cuoco

Neither Christina Aguilera or Cee Lo Green, who turned around for Briana Cuoco, or Blake Shelton and Adam Levine (who did not), knew who she was, Kaley insists.

Briana’s relation to The Big Bang Theory star prompted the obligatory speculation that the audition may have been rigged when she made it through.

Kaley felt compelled to respond to those allegations on Twitter, noting that the whole point of The Voice is that the singers make it through on merit:

"FYI last nights #TheVoice was NOT rigged because I'm @bricuoco sis. She made it ON HER OWN 100%. It's called BLIND AUDITIONS for a reason."
