With Teresa and Joe Giudice headed to prison, their eldest daughter Gia Giudice has apparently chosen to distract herself by focusing on her career.

Unfortunately, her chosen line of work is drawing almost as negative attention as her parents' felonious activities.

Gia is the youngest member of an all-girl pop group called 3KT. Sounds innocent enough, but there's controversy surrounding the band for two reasons:

1. Many feel that Teresa is exploiting her daughter and forcing her into music so that she can earn for the family while her parents are locked up.

2. Those who have seen 3KT's first video say that the way that Gia dresses and acts is totally inappropriate for a 13-year-old.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice remain "very unified" despite facing prison terms, their producer Andy Cohen opines.

The Watch What Happens Live host said that even the prospects of her getting locked up for 15 months and him for 41 haven't broken them ... yet.

"They seem very unified," Cohen said. "I ask her on Thursday night if she blames Joe for her sentence and term, what she says is pretty interesting."

Part two of Cohen's two-part interview with the Giudices airs this evening on Bravo. In the first, we already saw plenty of highlight reel moments.

Joe admitted he used his wife in the fraud scheme that was their undoing, while Teresa said she didn't understand her plea deal or what Joe was doing.

"Alright, whatever, I was taking out false loans," Joe said. "They were handing me the paperwork. Whatever the forms were, she had better credit."

"So, we used her," he confesses, though he says, "she never even came to closings, she's never been to closings. She might have signed one document."

Last night, Bravo aired the first half of Joe and Teresa Giudice's post-sentencing interview with Andy Cohen.

On Thursday, the network that made the Giudices famous will feature the second half of their extended sit-down with Cohen, and given the slate of topics to be discussed, round 2 might leave the Giudices looking worse than ever.

For one thing, Andy will reportedly confront Teresa about her claims that The Real Housewives of New Jersey is scripted, and edited to make her look bad. (We're guessing AC wasn't too thrilled with that statement.)

But what we're really looking forward to is the discussion about Joe Giudice's alcoholism.

Last night, Teresa and Joe Giudice sat down for with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live for their first interview since being sentenced for fraud.

As expected, Teresa explained that she didn't understand her plea deal and continued to play the blameless victim role. It was pretty infuriating.

The one time that she came off as the least bit sympathetic or relatable, however, is one she spoke of her relationship with eldest daughter Gia.

The Giudices haven't told their youngest daughters that they'll both soon be headed off to prison, so Gia is shouldering the burden on her own. And from the sound of it, so she's doing as fine a job as could be expected.

Asked by Cohen about the moment when she told her 13-year-old Gia about the sentence, Teresa became choked up with what seemed to be a mix of shame in her actions and pride for her daughter:

Soon to be incarcerated, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice sat down with Andy Cohen Monday on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.

In her much-anticipated post-sentencing interview, she admitted she is devastated by her prison sentence and more than a little shocked at the outcome.

Why? Because she claims she DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE PLEA DEAL SHE SIGNED and thought it meant she would not have to do time as a result.

“I didn’t fully understand it,” Giudice said. “I thought my lawyer was going to fight for me. That’s what lawyers do. That’s pretty much that’s why you hire an attorney."

"I do need to read things [and] understand things before I sign them. I'm a trustworthy person and sometimes I take what other people say … I can't do that anymore."

"I gotta make sure I fully understand something or fully read it or find a lawyer - like a contract lawyer - that can help me because I don't read contracts everyday, so I wanna get better at that."

Even though Teresa Giudice is headed to prison soon, that doesn't mean the troubled Housewife has any plans to let up in her relentless hustling.

Along with her husband Joe, Teresa sat down for an interview with Bravo recently to speak publicly about her crimes and punishment for the first time since her sentencing.

The interview will air in its entirety tonight, but regardless of whether or not it turns out to be the ratings bonanza that Bravo is banking on, it's already proven to be a hugely lucrative 30 minutes for the Giudices.

The couple was reportedly paid $325,000 for offering Bravo honcho Andy Cohen first crack at an interview.

The network initially offered $275,000 for Teresa alone, but threw in an extra 50 grand in order for Joe to join her.

Teresa and Joe Giudice's former Real Housewives co-star Caroline Manzo is speaking out about their prison sentences, deeming them shocking and tragic.

  • Caroline Manzo on The Real Housewives
  • Teresa Giudice: Telling It Like It Is

Following Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and Manzo'd With Children Season 1 Episode 1, Caroline went on Watch What Happens Live.

“I’m blown away. I’m blown away by the whole thing,” Manzo told Andy Cohen of Teresa Giudice's 15-month sentence and Joe's 41-month punishment.

“It’s so much bigger than the [Real] Housewives, it’s so much bigger than Bravo, it’s just life-changing for these people and their children," she added.

“The only think I can think of is their kids - God bless those kids - you know, it is what it is, and it happened and I can’t wrap my head around it, it’s a lot.”

They may be shocked and devastated by their impending trips to the big house, but the Giudices have no choice but to do time after their fraud convictions.

Last week, Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison, but she won't have to turn herself in to authorities until January 5.

Naturally, Teresa has a lot to get done between now and then - things like getting her finances in order, making sure her kids are cared for while she's gone, and of course, setting fire to the few remaining bridges in her life that haven't already been burned.

Teresa Giudice Stands Tall

Yes, despite the fact that Bravo is pretty much the only business at which Teresa has any hope of getting a job after her release, the veteran Housewife seems intent on royally pissing off the network that made her famous.

Over the weekend, the ladies of The Real Housewives of New Jersey gathered to tape their annual reunion show, and naturally, Teresa was the main attraction. She was also more than three hours late.

On last night's Manzo'd With Children Season 1 Episode 1, a former Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member returned with her new Bravo spinoff series.

Is it worth watching, though, compared with the show she started on?

Manzo'd With Children Season 1 Episode 1 re-introduces us to Caroline Manzo, who not-so-famously split from the franchise for her own half-hour series.

Jacqueline Laurita, who is Caroline's sister-in-law, will join her along with her kids ... who are back and driving her up the wall. No surprise there!

Albie and Chris ditched their bachelor pad to move back into her place to save money, while Lauren's gearing up for her wedding to fiance Vito Scalia.

So much upper middle class drama in Franklin Lakes!

In On Manzo'd With Children Season 1 Episode 2, she pushes them to broaden their world view a bit, which in her mind means a trip to trapeze camp.

Last night on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 12, Teresa Giudice and her ongoing legal problems were only half the story.

With the real housewife in real trouble, getting sentenced to 15 months for fraud, it was hard to focus on much else, but the Bravo show tried.

Fortunately, they had a good side plot, as the rumor that Victoria Gotti told earlier in the season came full circle when Jim Marchese said it out loud:

Teresa Aprea's husband, Rino, had slept with her mom in the recent past.

"You don't talk about mothers!" said Melissa Gorga, as twins Nicole Napolitano and Aprea listened, stunned, to the story about their own. "No! No!"

"Don't you dare talk about my mother," said a crying Aprea. "I'm done."

Sounds like Rino did a lot more than talk to her, too. Just saying.

"That's why I was trying to shut this down all night long," said fellow cast member Dina Manzo on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 12.
