At the time of his death, Philip Seymour Hoffman had completed filming on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

But the actor - who came on board Catching Fire in the role of head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee - still had a few scenes remaining when he died of a heroin overdose last week.

According to Page Six, however, Lionsgate will not recast the actor or even cut key scenes from the final installment of The Hunger Games franchise.

They will actually add him in via CGI.
