Anne Hathaway made headlines this week with her new short hair.

Now she's making even more of them for her Catwoman costume.

The cropped 'do is for her role in Les Miserables, and the catsuit, of course, is for her role in the upcoming summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises.

We haven't seen a photo of Anne as her feline alter ego in some time, so it was quite a treat that the producers decided to release this new image ...

If you thought The Dark Knight Rises trailer was epic, wait until you feast your eyes on it ... mashed up with footage from The Lion King! Well played again, Internet!

One of the 12 movies we're excited for 2012, and maybe the most hyped, Rises will be the swan song for star Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan.

If the franchise wants to continue sans Bane, Simba makes a solid Bruce Wayne, we have to say. Nala is Catwoman, meanwhile, and Scar is Bane. Fitting.

Warner Bros. has come out with a new poster for The Dark Knight Rises, and it does not bode well for a certain Caped Crusader.

Featuring Tom Hardy's Bane standing over a fallen Batman mask, along with cracks in the iconic logo, the image teases this July 2012 blockbuster, which reportedly is set eight years after events that concluded the previous installment.

Major filming on The Dark Knight Rises took place over the weekend in Pittsburgh, Pa., including some scenes caught on video by amateur onlookers.

The most notable item captured on tape was the Batwing, our hero's aerial vehicle. A slow-moving monstrosity in real life, it will surely look SICK on film.

Also prowling the Steel City's streets was Anne Hathaway's Catwoman ... stunt double. Hey, better than nothing. That suit does look pretty badass, no?

Check out FIVE clips of the Batwing, Catwoman, many of the Tumblers featured in the movie and more from the set of The Dark Knight Rises below ...

First, we got a look at Tom Hardy as Bane.

Now, Warner Bros. has released the first photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, as she takes to the streets in a fun ride:

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman

The iconic character was introduced by Julie Newmar in the 1966 Batman TV series. Since then, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry have all donned the slick, leather black outfit of Catwoman.

While Hathaway won't reveal anything about her version - "I signed a blood oath," she said upon accepting the role - at least we now have an idea of what she'll look like. Thoughts?

The Dark Knight Rises comes out on July 20, 2012.

What does this reveal? Not much. But the image of crumbling Gotham skyscrapers can't be a good sign for city residents. Good thing a certain iconic logo is lit up within the rubble.

Storylines and spoilers have been kept mostly under wraps, but a few details have leaked out. They are merely rumors, but get an idea of what may be on tap NOW.
