Emily Maynard and Arie Luyendyk, Jr. GOT. IT. ON.

At least according to a new tabloid report citing intimate knowledge of their Fantasy Suite loving before she accepted Jef Holm's proposal.

The Us Weekly staff, of course, makes stuff up about The Bachelorette like it's their job, so we recommend taking this with a boulder of salt.

That said, here's what they claim went down ...

Just days before Jef Holm got down on one knee and proposed on The Bachelorette season finale, Emily was hooking up with runner-up Arie.

Us says that contrary to Emily disavowing overnight dates because she's "a mother and a role model," the two did get intimate on the show.

Naturally, Arie Luyendyk, Jr., was upset to learn he wasn't the recipient of Maynard's final rose - especially after their fantasy suite magic.

"He stormed off," says the source, claiming his full reaction was edited out. "He screamed, 'You just slept with me!' It wasn't shown on TV."

The insider says that Maynard never intended to lead him on and was truly "in love with two people" and torn between Jef Holm and Arie.

By Holm's admission, their romance "started off slowly," while her chemistry with Arie was obvious early ... it couldn't have been an easy call.

Even if she did sleep with Arie, it's unfair to criticize Emily if she truly felt he could be husband material. A guy wouldn't be criticized in the same situation.

But again, remember ... tabloid. Salt. Boulder.

As for Emily and Jef: Will they last?

The Bachelorette finale that featured a tear-filled engagement bewteen Emily Maynard and Jef Holm also endeared millions to Arie Luyendyk, Jr.

While the majority of viewers are happy for - and confident in - Emily and Jef, the response to Arie Luyendyk has been overwhelmingly positive.

In other words, contrary to what the tabloids would have you believe.

The runner-up, who was the subject of wild, crazy and sometimes hurtful gossip reports throughout the season, has finally taken them to task.

Numerous magazines have painted Arie as a womanizer who only went on the show for publicity; an ex-girlfriend of his even got in on the act.

In addition, "insiders" claimed Emily Maynard was dumped by Arie despite wanting him to receive the final rose, with Jef winning by default.

Tuesday, Arie Luyendyk, Jr., who has wished Emily and Jef well, took to his Twitter page to address the stories, albeit without specifics:

“It's been brought to my attention what all the tabloids are saying. IT'S ALL FALSE, I mean where do they come up with this crap?! #carryon.”

Carry on he will ... very possibly into The Bachelor driver's seat.

It seems all but a lock that Arie or Sean Lowe will be the next Bachelor, and given the former's popularity, you have to think he has the edge.

It's become all but certain that a memorable star from a previous season is chosen for the upcoming season of ABC's The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.

This year gave us two very popular candidates in Arie Luyendyk, Jr., and Sean Lowe, both of whom lost to Jef Holm in the Emily Maynard sweepstakes.

Arie and Sean would both be slam-dunk picks for the network, while Roberto Martinez - The Bachelorette winner in 2010 - is said to be out of the mix.

That leaves Arie Luyendyk, Jr., and Sean Lowe as co-frontrunners. Which of the two would you prefer to see this winter? Vote below!

Emily Maynard and Jef Holm continued their media blitz today, appearing on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM morning radio show and making a couple announcements.

First, Maynard will soon be Emily Holm.

"Even though I went on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, I'm pretty traditional, believe it or not, so yeah - sure [I'll change my name]," the beautiful single mother said.

Holm then reiterated his plans to relocate to North Carolina and could not have sounded more excited over the couple's future.

"Every chance I get to see her and hang out with her, I take advantage of that," he gushed to Seacrest. "She's seriously the sweetest girl ever."

Finally, what about the rumor that Emily and Jef will pull a Molly and Jason Mesnick and get married on TV?

"People keep asking us that, and we don't even know what we're going to eat for lunch tomorrow," Maynard said. "I never thought I was going to be the Bachelorette, so I've learned to never say never. But it's something we'll have to talk about as a family."

In other words: if the money is right...

A few days after making their engagement known, following a beautiful proposal on The Bachelorette finale Monday night, Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are defying the critics.

They are still together and appear as content as ever, with Holm saying he plans to soon move to North Carolina to be closer to Maynard and her daughter Ricki.

Now, Emily has blogged on People about her "amazing" fiance and how lucky she is to have found him.

"Getting to share our love story with you all this season and reliving the proposal yesterday reminds me of how blessed I am to have found my best friend and partner in crime, Jef Holm," Maynard writes. "I've always believed in great love and hoped I'd find it one day. However, I had no idea a love like this even existed!"

Emily Maynard is more than just the new fiancee of Jef Holm, following her selection of this entrepreneur on The Bachelorette season finale.

She's also a record breaker!

Sources confirm to that the rock Holm placed on this single mother's finger Monday night is worth $150,000, "100 percent the biggest any woman has received on either The Bachelor or Bachelorette."

How did Holm afford such a diamond? He didn't, of course. Jeweler Neil Lane provided it to ABC free of charge.

The 3.5 carat ring is handmade and features 87 smaller diamonds around an emerald-cut 2.5 carat-sized main jewel. Take a look at it after the jump and react: Worth the price?

So far, so very good for Emily Maynard and Jef Holm.

The single mother chose the entrepreneur on last night's Bachelorette finale and, naturally, many viewers have already started counting down to their split.

But Emily and Jef appeared together on Good Morning America today and didn't look or sound like a couple on the verge of a split.

Holm, in fact, said he'll soon be moving to Charlotte to spend more time with his fiancee and her daughter, Ricki, although he'll be getting a "separate place" in the city.

"We're going to combine our lives and I'm going to hang out with Ricki all the time and become a car pool dad," Jef said. "We're just going to live our lives together and get accustomed with each other, plan a wedding, and when we get married, move in together."

Well... he didn't refer to seven-year old Ricki as "baggage." Jef Holm has that going for him.
