The Bachelorette season finale is just days away, and viewers are going nuts trying to figure out if Ali Fedotowsky picks Chris Lambton or Roberto Martinez.

Or, if you're the type to believe The Bachelorette spoilers we've teased for weeks, she rejects both, and is single to this day. What does she have to say?

“I was trying to be smart and fall in love with my heart, but use my head too,” she told People in its new cover story of starring on The Bachelorette.

“Sometimes the right thing is the hardest thing to do, and it’s definitely hard to hurt somebody. No matter what happens in the end, I hurt somebody.”

Hmm. There's that, and there's Us Weekly, which is really going out of its way to convince us she's engaged, despite offering absolutely no evidence.

Which is it - and if she is engaged, to whom? Is it true what other sources say, that Roberto proposes? If he does, are they still together now?

  • Rule Breaker
  • Secrets of the Proposal!

DIFFERENT STORIES: Ali's engaged? Some beg to differ.

It's worth noting that mere days before the final rose ceremony, no clips of her standing with either guy, or of the guy(s) walking toward her has been shown.

Was there no final rose ceremony? Was it filmed in secret to prevent the outcome from being leaked? Is ABC just bad at promoting its cash cow reality show?

Whatever the case, it's definitely odd, since Chris Lambton and Roberto Martinez are both so popular. Even fans who prefer one or the other really like both.

Host-pimp Chris Harrison says the finale is "surprising" and "unlike anything in the history of the show." "It's true from the last chance dates," he told E!

"And from those on into 'proposal day,' at the end. Everything is different than what our fans have seen in years past. People will be surprised. Whether it's good or not, Ali's happy with it and she's sticking by it. It'll be interesting."

Hmm. After seeing her recently, Chris adds:

"She looked healthier, she looked happy. She had a smile on her face and a bounce in her step again. The season took a lot out of her. It was a rough road, but she's good. She's very happy and content with what she did."

What the heck did she do - and who should she pick? Leave a comment with theories, and vote in our ongoing Chris vs. Roberto poll below ...

The Men Tell All special is always bad, but The Bachelorette's penultimate episode was even more useless this time than in seasons past. What a waste.

How can a reunion special for this season not feature Justin "Rated R" Rego or Frank Neuschaefer, two of the most notorious villains in show history?!

Instead, it was pure filler. Seriously, there is no need for this. Edit it down, guys. This is coming from devoted followers of the show, too. Think about it.

Because we love you anyway, here's THG's +/- review ...

"Justin chose not to be here tonight." - Chris. Can't imagine why. Minus 7.

Plus 4 for this tidbit: Justin was busted via Facebook after girlfriend Jessica Spillas noticed Kimberly Kerekes posting something romantic on his "wall." LOL. Side note: Become a fan of THG on Facebook - we would never cheat on you!

Frank Neuschaefer Picture

Craig, on Rated R: "His goal was to make it to the final three and sabotage everything she wanted to do for his own public benefit. It's just one of the worst things you can do to a human being." Definitely a crime against humanity. Plus 3.

Ali Fedotowsky had little to say about Justin, other than "I'm proud of the way I handled it. I didn't want to shed one tear." Minus 2 ... give us more dirt!

Kasey hopped into the hot seat. He's still krazy, but mostly just annoying, and not the person we really kared to hear konfessions from. Minus 5.

Kirk seemed to be the fan favorite, and rightfully so. Plus 3.

Kirk, on the previous week's exit by Frank Neuschaefer: "It was frustrating because Frank knew how I felt about Ali ... I came here to meet Ali with no thoughts about anybody else." Indeed. Minus 5 for not showing your face, Frank!

Without giving away any Bachelorette spoilers, the finale teaser seems to suggest, or at least leave the door open for the possibility that Ali will not pick either Chris Lambton or Roberto Martinez, which would he hella weak. Minus 10.

Not as weak as Bachelor Pad, which looks like a menagerie of the worst people in previous Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons. Eh, we'll watch it. Wash.

TOTAL: -19. SEASON: +147.

Who should Ali Fedotowsky choose next week?

by Free Britney at . Comments

The Bachelorette season finale is fast approaching, and there continue to be conflicting accounts as to whether star Ali Fedotowsky is engaged after it.

According to The Bachelorette spoilers we've read, she's single right now. But others, such as Us Weekly, say the finale ends with a ring on her finger.

Of course, both could be independently true.

Following the shocking 180 by Frank Neuschaefer, only Roberto Martinez and Chris Lambton are left vying for Ali's heart - with Roberto the frontrunner.

A new round of Internet reports suggest that Ali does in fact get engaged on the Bachelorette finale to Roberto, while wearing a beautiful gold gown!

Too bad this can't be independently verified.

Ali Fedotowsky, Roberto Martinez

The Bachelorette's Ali and Roberto: Are they engaged?

These same reports suggest that Roberto Martinez will propose to Ali Fedotowsky but just a few weeks after the show, Ali becomes single yet again.

Can you see it? We sort of can. Frank leaving the way he did threw her for a loop, and as infatuated as she is with Roberto, she knows it's a big risk.

We haven't listed sources here for a reason, however.

None are credible enough to warrant a mention. But the "inside" rumors about the Ali-Roberto engagement have been flying in Bachelorette forums.

Will Roberto propose, or is Chris L. ready to shock the fan community by winning her heart? If there is a proposal, do you think Ali is still engaged?

That question remains to be answered. Don't expect tonight's Men Tell All special to shed light on it, either. It's even more filler than most weeks.

Who do you think she should choose?

It might look like all fun, games, amazing dinners and contrived drama, but filming a reality show like The Bachelorette can be tough. Just ask Ali Fedotowsky.

“I was always hungry!” she tells OK! about how she gained 10 pounds on the show (not that anyone knew). “I didn’t think much of it, but everyone noticed.”

We doubt it. We've seen no Bachelorette spoilers about Ali's alleged weight gain. If anything, an extra few pounds look good on her. But it's all good either way.

How did she change her eating habits when she got back home?

“I am good during the week, and one day I pig out,” Ali says. “But I don’t cook! I am learning a little bit. I can be hard to eat healthy when you don’t cook."

"I love egg white omelets because I can actually cook the egg whites myself! I also go to the grocery store, and I will buy the ready-made grilled chicken."

"I buy 4-5 at a time, and I’ll have them with a salad - a prepared salad from a bag.” And there's your Ali Fedotowsky diet, folks. But what about exercise?

“I am not the person who will be at the gym all the time,” she says. “Usually, I do the treadmill for about 30 minutes, or I will try to do something else.”

Something that helps take out aggression at Frank Neuschaefer?

“I love kickboxing. I have a personal trainer for it. We do contact kickboxing; she holds the pads up for me. It’s such a great workout for my core."

"You can think of ex-boyfriends while you’re doing it!"

Who should she pick on the August 2 finale?

by Free Britney at . Comments

Frank Neuschaefer's shocking betrayal of Ali Fedotowsky, who he turned the tables on and dumped for his ex Nicole Caruso, rocked The Bachelorette this week.

But if you think Ali was effectively forced into her final two (Chris Lambton and Roberto Martinez) thanks to Frank and his surprise 180, you best think again.

"I can say with 100 percent certainty that Frank leaving did not affect my final decision," Ali Fedotowsky told E! Online after being asked about Frank's exit.

Which is not to say it didn't wreak havoc at the time.

"There were so many things that were going through my mind," she recalls. "The first being upset in general because I had really strong feelings for Frank, but also I just wondered if the whole journey was going to work out for me."

One Cute Bachelorette

"I felt defeated. I've been hurt in the way Frank hurt me before. I had an ex that actually reminded me of Frank, who in the past left me for an ex-girlfriend."

Says the adorable 25-year-old Bachelorette star: "I know now in retrospect there's nothing wrong with me, but at the time I couldn't help but feel that way."

She says she's excited to face fans and former suitors - Frank included - on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special, because she'll do so in the open.

"It's the first time that - whether I'm single or I'm engaged or I'm with someone - I get to be that," says the Massachusetts native. "I've been living this secret life for the past three months, and I'm just excited to be whatever I am."

"And of course I'm going to see Frank for the first time, which is going to be interesting. I'm intrigued to see what he has to say, and how he's feeling."

So are we. But in the meantime, who should she pick?!

NOTE: Check out The Bachelorette spoilers here for the latest speculation on what happens on the August 2 finale. Next week is the Men Tell All special.

by Free Britney at . Comments

The shocking betrayal of Ali Fedotowsky by Frank Neuschaefer wasn't the last you'll see of him on The Bachelorette: He's coming to the After The Final Rose special.

That airs after the season finale August 2 and features interviews with Ali and the last man standing - if there is one - and usually the runner-up or runners-up.

Frank, who was one of the final three, left the show on this week's episode after confessing to Ali that he still had feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Caruso.

Don't get the wrong idea. Frank does not appear on the finale itself, and The Bachelorette spoilers we've read don't suggest any kind of dramatic return.

His After The Final Rose visit will just be to talk about what happened.

Frank and Ali

An aspiring screenwriter, Frank has been criticized for joining the show "for the wrong reasons." But sources close to Frank say it really was to fall in love.

“If he does [go on the special], it won’t be for fame but to stick up for his name,” a fellow Bachelorette contestant said. “He is a nice, level-headed guy."

While Frank’s last-minute departure may paint him as a villain to some fans, he went into the situation trying to do the right thing for all parties involved.

“I think he truly was falling in love with her, but he had unfinished thoughts about his ex," said the source. "I believe he made a mature decision to see her.”

In Frank's defense, it's also easy to see the scenario floated in some circles that he wanted to leave earlier, but was coerced into the dramatic exit by ABC.

He and Nicole are also still together, so maybe his decision was the right one? Or maybe they planned this whole stunt all along ... who are we to say?

We want to know what YOU say about who Ali should pick now:

by Free Britney at . Comments

Whether it was the producers' idea, him writing himself into his own screenplay or prompted by genuine emotions, Frank Neuschaefer's move last night was ballsy.

Dumping Ali Fedotowsky for his ex-girlfriend this late in the game? That stings. Far worse than the antics of Justin "Rated R" Rego, who was far more transparent.

Frank was awkward. He was sad. He confused the hell out of us. And he broke Ali's heart. Love it or hate it, this was the watershed moment of the season so far.

Oh yeah, and two guys were also there vying for her heart (and no one else's). THG breaks down Monday's penultimate episode of The Bachelorette below ...

Frank hasn't been frank with Ali all along.

It's really odd how much ABC gives away in previews, not just before the episode airs, but for what's "COMING UP" during the episode. Not everyone reads The Bachelorette spoilers, ABC. We certainly do, but not everyone. Minus 5.

Let's delve right into Frank. He's been obsessed with Ali all season, yet loved this Nicole Caruso girl so much that he chose her after one cheesy heart-to-heart, then flew all the way to Tahiti to break the news? This makes no sense, Minus 14.

Nicole says had no idea one person could complete another. Has she never seen Jerry Maguire? Eh, she looks like she's about 19, so maybe not. Anyway, Minus 3.

Ali is way cuter and seems a lot cooler than Nicole. Just saying. Plus 5.

Not sure if they just need to kill time and stretch this filler into a two-hour show, but the gratuitous Ali bikini shots are off the hook this week. We'll take it. Plus 7.

The majesty of Tahitian scenery soon gives way to despair, seeing as we do not make enough money from these Bachelorette reviews to ever go there. Minus 8.

Ooh, a helicopter ride! That's a new one, Bachelorette! Minus 4.

Ali wears sexy lingerie to dinner with Roberto Martinez. Someone is a little boy crazy ... not that we blame her. Despite sweating profusely, he's a hunk! Plus 9.

Why do they always say the fantasy suite card is from Chris Harrison? Just so we'll laugh and point it out here, while praising the venerable host-pimp? Plus 8.

Bachelorette Ali

Will Ali Fedotowsky choose Chris Lambton or Roberto Martinez?

Roberto has to be the frontrunner heading into the August 2 finale, given his obvious chemistry with Ali. Much of their date could be Cinemax material. Plus 5.

Wait, Chris' mom died? Did we miss that? Minus 6.

Chris' date with Ali involves cruising around on a giant boat, playing in the water and finding pearls in oysters. Cute, but too many obvious jokes missed. Wash.

At dinner on a private island, he sweetly confesses that he can see himself with Ali. Roberto is her infatuation, but Chris might be an even better pick. Plus 12.

Chris says that his mom is looking down smiling right now. Minus 5 for the overkill, and Minus 14 more for the image of his late mom looking down smiling at her first born about to put it to a hot girl also dating someone else on a reality show.

After arriving in Tahiti for reasons known, Frank reflects: "I'm confident in the decision I made, but to hurt Ali and potentially break her heart is going to be one of the hardest things I've ever had to do ... so I wanna talk to Chris Harrison." Plus 56.

Eventually, he "confesses" to Ali and she seems genuinely miserable. Minus 19, 'cause it's very possible Frank and Nicole "broke up" so he could go on the show, knowing full well he could play this card for dramatic effect. He's a writer, after all.

Minus 2 for the annoying way he says "Nicole," and Minus 6 for Ali saying she "gave up everything" to be here for approximately the 458th time this season.

They have the rose ceremony anyway, an unnecessary but nice reminder for Ali that the two remaining guys are light years better than Frank anyway. Plus 7.

TOTAL: +23. SEASON: +166.

Who should Ali Fedotowsky choose?

by Free Britney at . Comments

Regarding the August 2 conclusion of this season of The Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky said in a recent interview that she is happy and confident in her decision.

What that decision is has become the topic of much debate (and The Bachelorette spoilers), but events in this week's penultimate episode sure made it easier.

Despite whining all season about not getting enough time with Ali, who he's falling for so bad, one of the guys reveals a secret in the shocking preview below:

He's been pining for his ex-girlfriend as well.

Still in his hometown of Chicago before embarking on the epic journey to Tahiti, Frank Neuschaefer meets with ex, reveals his feelings and lays it on the line.

Looks like Nicole Caruso 1, Ali Fedotowsky 0 ...

Who should Ali choose on The Bachelorette? Vote in THG's poll below ... which Frank is getting slaughtered in for reasons we can't imagine:

by Free Britney at . Comments

According to Us Weekly, The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky ends up engaged on the show's August 2 finale, and is now planning an early 2011 wedding.

According to The Bachelorette spoilers we've read? Not the case.

There are conflicting reports, clearly, regarding what the blonde cutie will do when the field stands at just two and that final rose is ready to be doled out.

Some, including the aforementioned tabloid, cite anonymous sources and vague quotes to "prove" she's engaged. Other sources claim she's quite single.

What does Ali herself have to say about it right now? "I'm just confident in the decisions I made," Fedotowsky told ET Thursday at an event in Hollywood.

Hmm ...

On this past Monday's episode, she booted Kirk DeWindt and narrowed her choices to this trio: Roberto Martinez, Chris Lambton, and Frank Neuschaefer.

As for which two make it to the season finale?

"Both guys have so much integrity," Ali Fedotowsky said. "They are stand-up, honorable and have a lot of respect for others. I just think they are men."

In other words, Frank is toast. Two-timing jerk.

She added, "They're the type of guys that any mother or father dream that their daughter would find. I think that's what makes them really great guys!"

Wow, spoiler alert! A little warning next time?

The reality star is looking forward to the finale being over. "I'm sort of in limbo right now.... I'm really looking forward to everything sort of wrapping up!"

Who should Ali choose on The Bachelorette?

by Free Britney at . Comments

Ali Fedotowsky has already been betrayed on The Bachelorette this season. Fortunately, Rated R (Justin Rego) and his cheating ways were exposed relatively early.

Unfortunately, she won't be so lucky with Frank Neuschaefer, one of her final three ... or the producers of the ABC reality series, who set her up for heartbreak.

That's according to In Touch Weekly, yes. But there's something to it.

By now, whether you read The Bachelorette spoilers or not, you've likely seen previews for next week and know that Frank is about to drop a bomb on our girl.

That bomb is his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Caruso, with whom he's reunited after blatantly ditching Ali despite wooing her all these weeks ... it's simply heartbreaking.

Even more so? That the producers were in on it.

  • How They Tricked Her
  • Frank Neuschaefer Picture

Monday on The Bachelorette, Frank Neuschaefer will break Ali's heart/

According to reports, Frank didn't exactly pull a Justin and use Ali Fedotowsky for publicity. He really liked her, but genuinely loved Nicole and wanted to reconcile.

“Frank didn’t think they would fall in love,” a source tells In Touch. “He followed his heart and did what was best for him - and ultimately what’s best for Ali, too.”

He considered Ali his girlfriend, says a source, and when producers refused to let him break up with Ali properly, they set the star up for even more heartbreak.

“They betrayed her,” says the source.

How? That remains to be seen. But months after that fateful night in Tahiti, Frank and Nicole were seen on a romantic date in Chicago. Follow the jump to see:
