Now together publicly, The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, her final rose recipient, seemed in great spirits in NYC last weekend.

The duo went to downtown hotspot Beauty and Essex for dinner on Friday. Ashley was "so sweet and nice and took pictures" with fans, sources say.

Saturday morning, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum had breakfast at Coffee Shop in Union Square, then spent time walking around with friends.

Also on hand? Hebert's once-disapproving sister, Chrystie Corns!

JP and Ash

Ashley's elder sibling infamously disapproved of J.P. on The Bachelorette finale, but according to a source, the two are "on very good terms now."

That's good to hear. Latert, Rosenbaum threw an engagement party of sorts so his friends could meet Hebert. About 40 people met at Casa La Femme.

After dinner and dessert, it was time for some belly dancing! "Ashley danced with the belly dancers. She's such a good sport," says the insider.

The best part about their relationship? The source says:

"That they don't have to keep this a secret anymore. They're so happy to be a couple and show everyone how in love they are with one another."

Will Ashley and J.P. last? It looks like it, so far ...

She had to three endure months of tears (William Holman), deceitful lies (Bentley Williams), surprise exits (Constantine, Lucas), betrayals (Bentley again) and even criticism from one of her own siblings (Chrystie Corns).

But through it all, Ashley Hebert met J.P. Rosenbaum. For that she is ever grateful.

"I've never looked back for a second on my decision," she says.

In fact, Ashley credits J.P., who proposed to her in Fiji, with helping her recover from her ill-fated romance with that two-timing ass clown Bentley.

She also says her relationship with the 34-year-old New York construction manager didn't truly begin until The Bachelorette finale had come and gone.

"Our relationship really started after we left the show," she says, despite the secrecy. "The show made us stronger than if we'd met on the outside."

Former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky is still engaged to her final rose recipient, Roberto Martinez, and loving life as a morning show correspondent in San Diego.

Well, for the most part. A recent injury really set her back! In an exclusive interview, Fedotowsky told us how Ab Cuts is aiding her recovery from a fractured femur.

Remind us not to take up kickboxing.

She also reflected on her stint as The Bachelorette, told us what her life has been like since, and talked all about this season's happy ending for Ashley Hebert.

Here's our chat with Ali:

Okay, Chrystie Corns didn't apologize for being on TLC's Extreme Couponing. There's nothing to apologize for - do you realize how much money you can save?!

Ashley Hebert's sister, who was seriously profiled on that show in its first season, is better known for her performance on The Bachelorette season finale.

More than 9 million viewers tuned in to see Ashley Hebert get engaged to J.P. Rosenbaum, and most of them were thrilled. Chrystie Corns? Not so much.

Chrystie Corns, Ashley Hebert's Sister

"I made a big mistake," Corns says of hastily judging Rosenbaum and curtly telling both of them to their faces that they simply weren't a good match.

Not only did she prefer Ashley Hebert and runner-up Ben Flajnik together, she even said that Brad Womack and Ashley had better chemistry. Ouch.

She has since done a 180, however: "As I started watching the season, however, it's very clear to me that J.P. was the one. He was the best choice."

With Ashley Hebert engaged as of The Bachelorette season finale, J.P. Rosenbaum is officially spoken for. But four good catches from this season are not.

Will one of them be selected as the star of The Bachelor this winter?

Already a fan favorite, runner-up Ben Flajnik would surely be a strong choice, having won over viewers on the finale and After the Final Rose special last night.

Ames Brown would be great, too. Everyone loves Ames! Don't discount the Greek God, Constantine Tzortis, either. Ashley even suggested Ryan Park somehow.

Of course, as we saw last time when runner-up Chris Lambton turned down the gig, ABC could go in a different direction. Third time's the charm, Brad?

We kid ... mostly. Stranger things have happened. Odds are that the show goes with one of these four, however. Which, if any, would you like to see? Vote:

Who should star as The Bachelor next season?

J.P. Rosenbaum certainly gave Ashley Hebert - and TV audiences across the country - a happy ending last night when he nervously popped the question.

The 26-year-old dental student from Philadelphia accepted J.P.'s marriage proposal immediately. From a man she calls "my rock," was there ever a doubt?

"We complement each other so well," Hebert said today on Good Morning America, the couple's first, live TV appearance together as an engaged couple.

Ashley, J.P. Kiss

Ashley on JP: "He's exactly what I've been looking for."

The couple announced that Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum will soon be living in the same city after she relocates to New York in the near future.

That said, they have no plans to rush down the aisle.

"She's going to move to New York City, finish up school," J.P. said. "We're going to find a place, she'll get a job, we'll get settled and then we're going to talk about a wedding ... Maybe fall of next year, or end of next year."

The Bachelorette season finale is in the books, but for Ashley, 26, and J.P., 34, they feel that only now can their lives can finally begin.

Following a tearful engagement on The Bachelorette season finale, the question now becomes whether Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum can stand the test of time.

The Bachelor and Bachelorette track records? Not good.

Trista and Ryan Sutter are married with kids. Jason and Molly Mesnick wed last year. Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are still happily engaged.

That's about it for the success stories.

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum

We're not saying they're going to end up like Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi here, but plenty of couples who looked strong and smitten have fizzled fast.

Last night on the After the Final Rose special, the two seemed elated to be reunited, thrilled at the prospect of merely getting to live life openly together.

That's a good sign, and hopefully an indicator that the construction manager and dental student can make this work. Think they can? Vote in our poll ...

Ashley and J.P.: Will it last?

Well, Ashley Hebert? Who's it gonna be? Ben Flajnik or JP Rosenbaum have both won America's heart, and hers. But only one will receive the final rose.

A season marred by one controversy after another all comes down to tonight. Will Ashley get her happy ending? Were The Bachelorette spoilers correct?

Which per-fact man will present the adorable Ashley with a Neil Lane ring (product placement at its best) and whose romantic hopes will be dashed?

THG breaks down The Bachelorette season finale in a LIVE +/- recap!

Ashley Hebert on the Season Finale

Wow, the episode-opening montage already has us feeling bad for whomever Ashley doesn't pick. We have our favorite, but they're both good guys. Plus 9.

Speaking of which ... poor Ames. Minus 3.

Whoa, Kat Von D is guest-starring! Oh, wait, that's Ashley's sister Chrystie. Plus 5, because her family is very real. Too much so to be on this show, almost.

Ashley tells the fam about the "burning passion" she has with J.P. Just what ma and pa want to hear before meeting their daughter's love interest. Minus 4.

Chrystie says Ashley is "a little too much" for "demure" J.P. Minus 7, for being kind of a b!tch, but Plus 5, because she doesn't make terrible points. Just saying.

8:14 p.m. and Ash is a LOSING IT! Plus 3.

Based on the trailer that aired on last night's Men Tell All special, Season 2 of Bachelor Pad is shaping up to be one of the best/worst shows in reality TV history.

Seriously, it's guaranteed to elicit one or both of these responses:

  1. This show represents all that is wrong with society today!
  2. This is so bad, it's must-see TV!

Think Big Brother only with more hormones, bigger egos, pre-existing feuds and a hodgepodge of some of the most memorable Bachelor/Bachelorette castoffs:

Jake Pavelka is on it. Need we say more? Fame whoring at its finest for the cast, and guilty-pleasure, brain cell-eroding drama at its best for the viewers.

It all starts next week. For more on tonight's Bachelorette finale, be sure to check out The Bachelorette spoilers, and follow the jump for a preview:

Many memorable castoffs from The Bachelorette, along with Ashley Hebert herself, took the stage in the show's Men Tell All pre-finale special last night.

As expected, there were some fun exchanges, but no real fireworks, with too much time spent on early season figures and Bentley not even showing.

For the latest on tonight's season finale, check out The Bachelorette spoilers we've put together. Now, for THG's +/- Bachelorette Men Tell All recap:

One Hot Bachelorette

Chris H.: "This has been one of the most controversial, talked about seasons of The Bachelorette ever." Pretty sure he leads with that every summer. Plus 10.

If you've watched this season, the filler/replayed clips are exhausting. Minus 7.

The bloopers/deleted scenes were fun, however, with Jeff (a.k.a. The Mask) doing chores around the mansion being the best. So domestic! Plus 6.
