Ben Flajnik on Courtney Robertson: Such Strong Feelings!

In a new blog post, Ben Flajnik details how his feelings for Courtney Robertson are strong, despite things the other women on The Bachelor have said about her.

Try as they might, as we saw on last night's episode, Courtney's rivals have failed in their efforts to paint Courtney in a negative light. At least in Ben's eyes.

Flajnik writes in his weekly People blog that while The Bachelor "may not have been the best environment" for Robertson (ya think?), their connection is for real.

Ugh.

Of Courtney Robertson, Ben writes, "Here I was, amongst the clouds, with such an amazing woman. I'd never felt so close to my father and to my happiness."

"To share this moment with Courtney was an exciting experience, and I knew if we moved forward that we would always be able to share this moment."

"That evening, however, things got a little strange. It's a tough thing, I understand, for the women to find a fine line between getting along with the other women and realizing it's difficult to be friends with people dating the people you are dating."

"I've been there, and it's tough. I know it's been hard for Courtney, and to be honest, I'm not sure this was the best environment for her. But, just as I tell the women to take our relationships individually, I try to do the same."

"My feelings for Courtney are strong and I don't want to let external forces get in the way. As the rose ceremony approached, I had a lot going through my head."

"All the women told me about their reservations regarding Courtney; I had to think about what I was missing, or if this was all just the nature of the women living together."

"It's amazing to see how deeply the women felt about their dislike for Courtney, and it's equally amazing not to see any of that coming through in her actions with me."

"It was a lot to consider, but my conversation with Courtney at the rose ceremony reaffirmed that I have to focus on the way she is when she's with me."

"I see what some of the women were talking about, but I still feel great about Courtney because when I'm with her, I feel really connected to her."

There you have it. She's on to the final four, and possibly beyond (see The Bachelor spoilers for the scoop, we think, on how the season plays out).

Love her or hate her, there's never been a Bachelor hopeful like Courtney.

Is she just a victim of editing and relentless cattiness/jealousy? Or does she deserve all the criticism she's gotten by virtue of her own behavior/quotes?

The Bachelor Recap: Kill Shot!!!

This season of The Bachelor has been the season of Courtney Robertson, and last night was no exception as the remaining women clamored to stop the Black Widow.

Ben Flajnik admitted that he's looking someone "a little bit weird," but we're not sure Courtney qualifies. Ashley Hebert is a little bit weird, in the best possible way.

Courtney? Mmmyeah not so much, unless ABC is doing the mother of all editing jobs to sabotage her ALL SEASON. She's so unpopular, she's all people talk about!

She's skinny-dipped and modeled and pursed her lips into Ben's heart, though, and with hometown dates looming, the women formed a united front to stop her.

Did they? Who made the final four? Were The Bachelor spoilers right all along, or did Ben pull a surprise and oust Court? Here's THG's official +/- Bachelor recap:

You know things are bad when Kacie B., probably the sweetest thing ever, is calling you out. Or when the story editors are feeding her lines. Minus 9.

“It took every freakin’ fiber of my being to not spring across the room and punch her in the face,” she said. Yikes, girl, take it down a notch. Minus 11.

Still, we feel ya. Plus 20.

Courtney did show a bit of vulnerability when she questioned if things were going well enough for her to want to introduce Ben to her family. Plus 7.

"Snap, girls. Show's over, you can pack your bags... kill shot!" - Courtney, after her temple-climbing one-on-one date with Ben in Belize. Minus 29.

"I don't want to get cocky though," she added. No, of course not. Minus 11.

Kacie B. wins the 3-on-1 date and Lindzi Cox, while getting comparably little screen time, always makes the most of what she has. See Ben? There are still other women on the show who seem like decent fits for you. Wake up! Plus 34.

Ben told her he definitely wanted to meet her family, which is no surprise given that he's totally whipped by her already. Still, spoiler alert? Minus 9.

Nevertheless, he's apparently not so whipped that he didn't pry about what's going on between her and the other women. Here we go ... Plus 5.

She says she tried "100 percent" to get to know them before they passed judgment on her. If that's true, we'd hate to see 30 percent. Minus 6.

Courtney: "I'm so bored by them. They're so vanilla and they're very into themselves. It's kind of exhausting when you don't really enjoy someone's company and you have to sit there and live with them every day." Funny, that's exactly how we feel and we only have to spend two hours a week with you, sweetie. Plus 20.

Ben asked Courtney if she had a big group of girlfriends. Response: "I have a lot of guy friends." Translation: women despise me. Plus 30.

"I'm just not impressed by these women, or girls. I don't even think they're women!" Great idea, mocking all the other women he likes. Minus 35.

"Do you know what my job is like?! I'm the talent. I have to make everyone happy," she says. Modeling! Side note: Plus 25 for this amazing video:

"We want you to be cautious about Courtney," Nicki Sterling offered, with Kacie and Rachel in town, "Just tread lightly." Too late. Minus 10.

Ben pulled Courtney aside just to make sure, he told her, that she really was on this show for him. LOL. Of course, she said yes. Minus 50.

Chris Harrison earns his paycheck by appearing and informing the women there would be no cocktail party. Ben's mind is made up, apparently.

Rachel and Emily O'Brien get the boot. Bad choice, obviously, as they seemed comparably great compared to the Black Widow. Minus 40.

Who doesn't love a rapping endiologist?! We do. Plus 15.

Courtney snottily waved at the departing Emily and mutters, "See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya," under her breath. She is in third grade. Minus 20.

Bachelor bad girl Courtney Robertson has become the star of the show this season, so it's no surprise she's been given the auto-tune treatment on YouTube.

In an instant viral video classic, some of the 28-year-old's most obnoxious quotes from the ABC reality show have been mashed together in music video form.

Whether she's name-checking her occupation ("modeling!"), bragging ("I got the rose!") or skanking it up ("Let's go bikini-less!"), she never ceases to amaze.

Or shut her month. Courtney Robertson has even more catchphrases than she does roses at this point. "Winning!" "I'm a move-maker! and "Snap, girls!" Et cetera.

Courtney Robertson: Dating Her Way Through Hollywood?

It turns out that before she met Ben Flajnik, The Bachelor bad girl and alleged maneater Courtney Robertson dated more than one Hollywood hunk.

Who are we talking out? These peeps, to name a few:

Entourage cast member Adrian Grenier
Desperate Housewives' Jesse Metcalfe (below)
Reese Witherspoon's now-husband, agent Jim Toth

Witherspoon apparently didn't even know about her man's long-ago dalliance with catty Courtney Robertson until returning from a trip to Europe this month.

Not that she cares in the least.

"It didn't faze Reese," a source says of the Oscar-winner, who has two kids and married a second time with the CAA agent, 41, nearly a year ago.

"There's no way Jim was close to serious about Courtney," the source scoffs of the model. "I mean, how do you go from that chick to Reese?"

Hmm. That is an indisputable point.

Courtney Robertson: The Bachelor MANEATER!

Courtney Robertson continues to stir up drama on The Bachelor and her controversial tactics have landed her on two different tabloid covers this week.

Probably her true goal all along. "Winning!"

Speculation is running rampant about how long Courtney lasts (The Bachelor spoilers we've posted offer more on that topic), but one thing is clear:

She is the star of the show this season, for better or worse.

In their new issues, Us Weekly and In Touch have tag-teamed Courtney Robertson (they're probably not the first ... winning!!!) with the following accusations:

She was dating an old rich guy while on the show!
There's a secret sex tape that could RUIN her!
Her attraction to Ben Flajnik is a complete lie!
She's even worse than you think!

Okay, at least one of those is BS. No way could she be worse than we - and many other Bachelor fans, based on the majority comments we've read on THG - think.

Yes, we realize it's a TV show and they edit to great the best narrative that gets people talking. But do you honestly believe none of this is Court's real personality?

Ben Flajnik Reflects on Blakeley Breakdown, Casey Confession, Kissing Lesson, Group Date Fiasco

The Bachelor star Ben Flajnik is blogging all about the events of this week's episode, which saw tensions rise on the dreaded two-on-one date and beyond.

Flajnik sure had a lot on his plate Monday, with a nude Courtney Robertson, a bawling Blakeley Shea and a two-timing Casey Shteamer, among other issues:

Excerpts from his take on the episode below:

On Kacie B.: "I sometimes worried that we would run out of things to talk about, but we were able to "survive" on an island together while keeping a smile on our faces, then learn more meaningful things about one another."

"I really appreciated Kacie opening up the way she did. It takes guts to tell someone the things you're not proud of, and I respect her even more for turning it into a positive."

On Courtney: "Group dates have always been difficult for me, but they've gotten harder as time goes on and as feelings have developed. It's not easy balancing relationships while trying to make everyone feel special."

That's why I was drawn to [Courtney Robertson] during the daytime portion of the group date - she made it a point to spend time with me. I always knew how she felt and she made sure to let me know that she was thinking of me."

"I will admit though, I wasn't pleased when she got in the pool during my time with Jamie. I know she was just trying to let me know that she's interested, but Jamie has a tough time opening up and having Courtney there wasn't helping."

On Blakeley: "I actually had a great time that afternoon and it wasn't until the dinner when things got really hard. Blakeley had been an open book since day one and I experienced more growth with her than I did with almost any of the women."

"She never ceased to amaze me with her openness. I knew I had to decide whether or not I saw her as my wife. I could've easily dated Blakeley for another few weeks but I knew in my heart it wasn't forever so I decided to let her go. "

On Casey S.: "Watching it now I realize I could've been more sympathetic to her. She was clearly involved with a guy that wasn't appreciating her but all I could hear was that she was still in love with someone else."

"I had just sent Blakeley home, and I kept thinking, 'How could you let yourself be here still if you're not that into me?' I can't change the way I reacted but I do hope Casey S. finds a man that appreciates her like she deserves."

On Jaime's kissing lesson: "Having Jamie walk me through one was sexy in theory, but it was so awkward in the moment! I wanted to make her feel comfortable and I know she was really working hard to put herself out there."

"Still, I felt like I was taking advantage of her in some way. I knew there wasn't enough time left to get to a place with Jamie that we needed to so I had to let her go."

"She is one of the sweetest, most sincere women I've met and I hope she finds a man that is ready to go from 0 to 60 with her."

The Bachelor Promo: Can the Black Widow Be Stopped?!

The black widow lurks. It waits. It watches. It stalks its prey.

Then when the time is right, it strikes, launching a methodical offensive, weaving a web of deceit and seduction that Ben Flajnik is powerless to resist.

That's Courtney Robertson in a nutshell. With only five other women remaining on The Bachelor after last night's episode, can she be stopped in time?

It looks like Nicki Sterling, Kacie Boguskie, Lindzi Cox, Rachel Trueheart and Emily O'Brien try, if nothing else, staging an intervention of sorts next week.

Will it work? That's anyone's guess. But skip ahead to the promo at the end of the rose ceremony in the clip below (around 4:00) and see the promo.

The Bachelor Recap: Casey Shteamer Gets Busted, Courtney Robertson Gets Nude (Again)

Ben Flajnik may be the titular star of the ABC reality franchise, but this season of The Bachelor has been without a doubt the season of Courtney Robertson.

Week after week, the girl continues to cement her reputation as the best Bachelor villain of all time, while redefining the standards of human terribleness.

Okay, sorry. That was a bit harsh. Well, maybe.

Skinny-dipping is a tough act to follow, but Court is a tough girl to hold back when it comes to showing off her body. She's, like, a model after all y'know.

There was also a pretty big scandal involving Samantha, as The Bachelor spoilers (and the promos, and Chris Harrison) told us. How it that play out?

Kacie B. got the first one-on-one date this season and after earning her second this week, looks more and more like a contender. She's nice. Plus 10.

Ben says this date - "surviving on a desert island" will show how they might work together in the future. Minus 60 for that recycled Bachelor platitude.

“Watching Ben cut into a coconut … it’s so hot,” Kacie says. Mmm. Plus 5.

She shares her high school history of anorexia and bulimia with Ben. Heavy topic and maybe too soon, but honest, courageous and forthright. Plus 12.

In the dreaded two-on-one date, Blakeley and Rachel go salsa dancing. Blakely pulls out all the tricks ... and we mean implied sexual favors. Plus 9.

Then she shows Ben a scrapbook of their love story, which is hilarious and kind of stalker-like as she never had real one-on-one time with Ben. Minus 11.

Rachel Trueheart (that's her name) gets the rose. Plus 8.

The group date gals had to rely on Ben to navigate through the river. Being a man's man (with a whole production team), he got it done somehow. Plus 6.

Heading deep into the dense jungle, a group of young boys clad in loin cloths are playing soccer. Clearly giving Courtney too many ideas. Minus 12.

“We kind of followed in the direction they ran and stumbled upon this village.” - Nicki. It's true, Ben plans some crazy spontaneous dates. Minus 9.

Courtney, of course, decides to be one with nature. “I don’t do anything half-assed,” she says, baring her breasts, blurred out by ABC. Minus 40.

“These girls… they are all like so prude," she says of girls who elect to remain sweaty and in bikinis while competing on The Bachelor. Plus 15.

“I appreciated that in more than one way,” Ben, of Courtney letting it all hang out. We imagine almost no viewer did, but good for you. Minus 9.

Courtney, having not commanded the attention of the show for a good couple of minutes, decides to interrupt Ben's time with Jamie. Minus 14.

Stripping down to a bikini, prancing around the pool, stretching her legs, splashing around ... is she getting paid to put on this show? If so, Plus 10.

Courtney invites Ben to come to her room after the party. He does not go for it somehow, and Plus 30 for that, but it's just a matter of time.

Speaking of Jamie, she delivered probably the worst kiss in Bachelor history. Or best, from an entertainment standpoint. But for romance, pure awfulness.

“I want to turn Ben on,” she says, straddling him in a short, tight cocktail dress, giggling like a drunk teenager. This is a scene out of Superbad. Plus 20.

Jamie tells Ben the first kiss was bad because her mouth was open when his was closed. “Do you want my mouth closed or open?” he asks. Ugh. Minus 19.

After hearing her laundry list of kissing instructions, Ben can't even take it seriously anymore. “That’s normally how kissing goes,” he says. Indeed. Plus 12.

The second attempt was even worse. Jamie Otis, no rose for you. Plus 10.

Chris Harrison shows up and calls out Casey Shteamer. Dun-dun-dun! Plus 30.

Chris tells Casey he received tips from exactly three different people back in the U.S. that she was “in love with somebody else.” Then what did he do?

He says he then reached out to this mystery man, Michael, who apparently confirmed that the two were actually in a relationship. Busted! Plus 25.

Casey denies being in a relationship but admits she’s still in love with him, and after an awkward talk with Ben, Casey is sent home. Minus 35.

Chris Harrison to Intervene, Clean House on The Bachelor Tomorrow

The venerable host-pimp of ABC's guilty pleasure reality franchise says he deeply regrets what unfolded on Ashley Hebert's season of The Bachelorette.

Chris Harrison learned a key lesson from the Bentley Williams debacle and that's why he's intervening in a big way on The Bachelor tomorrow night.

Bentley's deceit about his intentions, not to mention his being a complete d!ck, eventually led to heartbreak for Ash. Chris takes part of the blame.

"I didn't go far enough in talking to [Ashley Hebert] about Bentley," he says. "I warned her and I took some steps. But I don't think I went far enough."

Sometimes a pimp's gotta step up to the plate and reprimand his employees.

Tomorrow night, Harrison takes firmer steps to prevent a repeat with current Bachelor star Ben Flajnik, as teased in a preview of this week's episode (below).

Harrison arrives in Panama City, Panama, where Ben is wooing the remaining women, to drop a bomb that evidently leaves Casey Shteamer bawling.

"There's something that happens with Ben in Panama, where I got to kind of, you know, rectify that situation and do the right thing," Harrison said.

"In that speech to him and the girl that's involved, I actually said, you know what, I made a mistake [last] season, so I'm not going to do it here."

The Bachelor spoilers we've read have hinted at this for weeks now, but it looks like the show is full-on admitting it early. Its Facebook page teases:

"Soon it will be revealed that one bachelorette still has a boyfriend ... Who do you think it is?" We're gonna guess Casey S. Just a thought ...

As if she weren't public enemy #1 already, Courtney's skinny-dipping escapades on The Bachelor last night elevated her villain status to new heights/depths.

Will the overshadowed other women rise up against her? And will it matter?

As Court continues to run roughshod over the rest of the competition for Bachelor Ben Flajnik, the rest of the house has had about all that it can take of her.

Emily's efforts to show that Ben's being played (Ellen DeGeneres agrees) have fallen on deaf ears so far. Will the women stand a better chance collectively?
