Guess we know on which side Adam Lambert stands when it comes to our THG debate on Teen Mom...

With the MTV show making a number of headlines these days - from airing a controversial abortion special to Amber Portwood going to jail... and pretty much sucking as a human being - the singer has chimed in on the series with the following Tweet:

This Teen Mom show on MTV is so depressing. I know it's "real life" but shouldn't there be programming that inspires kids to shoot higher? #glorifyingwhitetrash

Rumors are swirling that someone got Amber Portwood pregnant again. Gary Shirley, father of her daughter Leah, is adamant that if that's true, it's not his.

There's no sperm trail for another kid, Gary insists.

He told a friend Monday, "If she was pregnant it wouldn't be mine... If [the pregnancy] is true I will never f**king talk to her again. If she can make the mistake or stupidity to have a baby and not use a condom, it was totally her fault."

Gary Shirley is NOT the Father

Amber Portwood is fearing for the loss of daughter Leah, and feeling like Teen Mom has ruined her. Or just life as a teen mom. Either way ... ruined!

When Ambs emerged from the Madison County jail in Anderson, Ind., after being arrested for felony battery, she visibly shaken by the experience.

"I cannot even imagine not seeing my little baby if I go back to jail," Amber Portwood told Life & Style in its cover story. "It scares me so bad."

RUINED: By being a teen mom ... or violent tendencies?

Putting the orange jumpsuit back on is a real possibility for Amber, who faces three felony charges for attacking Leah's father, Gary Shirley, on the MTV show.

If convicted, she could be sentenced to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines, which has her second-guessing her decision to ever appear on Teen Mom.

"I wouldn't have been in jail because nobody would have known about it," she says, blaming her quasi-fame for making the baby daddy beatdown a bigger deal.

Amber pleaded not guilty last week and was released after 24 hours in jail. Should she be sent back there, or do you think the experience will change her?

Is MTV's Teen Mom making like The Hills and playing up the drama for the cameras? Even staging it altogether? This new clip would strongly suggest so.

The video above, in which Gary argues with Clint's brother, shows him inciting other people in the restaurant and threatening to make them "famous."

Gary seems to know exactly what's going on, making you wonder if the whole thing is a setup to make money - and what other scenes that applies to.

Amber Portwood has told police the violence was "real" and that her beatings of Gary were not encouraged by the network, but we're a bit suspect.

Yesterday we played a video of Amber Portwood's baby daddy, Gary Shirley, laughing at and antagonizing the volatile, troubled Teen Mom star.

Often seen as the victim of her attacks, this cast Gary in a different light. Now, the audio below poses additional questions about Gary's role.

On December 15, Shirley desperately tried to get his other chick, a frequent target of Amber's threats, to cover up yet another beatdown.

Gary admits that Amber "f**king hit me" and can clearly be heard telling his girl how to stonewall reporters who got wind of the altercation.

In return for Ashley's silence, Gary says, "Maybe one day we can start a family." Isn't that the mentality that  ... whatever, here's the tape:

Gary Shirley Calls the Other Woman

Is rotund Teen Mom baby daddy Gary Shirley the target of Amber Portwood's insane rage, or does he play a big role in antagonizing her?

In a video obtained by TMZ, Shirley gets an earful from the accused felon, but the video raises serious questions about big daddy himself.

Shot in April, the clip shows Shirley on the phone with Amber Portwood, who goes off on him as usual. Strangely, he seems to revel in it.

Should we be pointing fingers at Gary as well?

Portwood pleaded not guilty to assault this week, but Gary may not be a sympathetic figure. He sure had fun with this particular, button-pushing diatribe.

While she was reportedly encouraged to fight Gary by MTV, cops say Amber claims it was not done for Teen Mom viewers' sake but was authentic anger.

Is Gary was really a "victim" of violence in all of this? Was he playing it up for the cameras, or just riling up his baby mama? This clip doesn't help his cause:

Amber Portwood Goes Off On Gary Shirley

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has officially been charged for hitting and shoving her former fiance Gary Shirley on an episode of the MTV reality show.

Portwood was charged by the Madison County (Ind.) prosecutor’s office with two counts of domestic battery and one count of neglect of a dependent.

Those are all felonies, in part because their two-year-old daughter Leah was there for it. A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery was also filed.

THAT HURTS! Amber is feeling the pain of felony charges.

Portwood faces up to three years in jail and fines of up to $10,000 for each of the counts, which also led to her temporarily losing custody of Leah.

Privately, the reality of facing criminal charges has brought Amber to the edge as she is facing the sobering truth about her future slipping away.

Amber Portwood Slaps Gary Shirley

Did MTV not only allow, but encourage Amber Portwood to lay the smack down on Gary Shirley on Teen Mom? That's the allegation of a new tabloid report.

Portwood is planning to use that as a defense against the felony charges she faces after manhandling Gary on a recent episode, the National Enquirer says.

Just when we were willing to give Teen Mom its due for lowering teen pregnancy rates, we learn MTV may be handing out bonuses for domestic violence. Wow.

Amber caught Gary off guard. The producers? Possibly not.

The 20-year-old single mom was recently charged with two felony counts of domestic battery after she was shown kicking and punching Gary this fall.

He was fine, but Amber and Gary's 2-year-old daughter, Leah, was present during two of the violent attacks, contributing to the felony classification.

Amber Portwood insists the violence was all a ruse and that show execs gave her an extra $1,000 to "get physical" with her ex during filming. Why?

Because they "wanted more drama," says an insider.

"Entertainment media is one of the nation's favorite punching bags, but it can be and often is a force for good," says group spokesman Bill Albert.

Jenelle Evans stars on Teen Mom 2 (watch the trailer here) this January. Typical for a cast member of the MTV show, she's had run-ins with the law.

More than a few, in fact.

Her arrest two months ago for breaking and entering and marijuana possession was the latest in a series of crazy police reports involving Janelle.

Teen Mom 2 star Janelle Evans is the mother of 16 month old Jace.

She was arrested back in October of this year for breaking and entering, marijuana possession and paraphernalia possession. Not a good combo.

The Oak Island, N.C., native was busted breaking into someone else's place and was released on a $2,000 bond. She is expected in court January 10.

In October 2008, Jenelle was arrested for sneaking through a bedroom window to see her then-boyfriend and father of her baby, Andrew Lewis.

According to the police report, she “continued to refuse to leave even after her mother attempted to take her home.” Jenelle Evans was arrested.
