Zac Efron fans will need to wait another month until his next big screen foray, 17 Again, hits theaters.

But those Down Under enjoyed an early treat, as the movie premiered in Australia this week - and Efron himself was on hand for the screening!

As usual, Zac was attacked by fans on the red carpet. But he wasn't alone.

Taylor Swift also made an appearance at the event, posing for pictures with the High School Musical star. No way there's anything going on between these two, right? Right?!?

As for whether or not she's engaged in sexual intercourse, the pop star had a strange response:

"I feel like whatever you say about whether you do or don't, it makes people picture you naked. And as much as possible, I'm going to avoid that. It's self-preservation, really."

We hate to blow this naive beauty's mind, but chances are rather strong that guys already picture you naked, Taylor. How come? As evidenced below, you're awfully cute. And they're guys.

Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift performed the song "Fifteen" together during the event, later presenting the Record of the Year award to Robert Plant and Alison Krauss for their collaboration on "Please Read The Letter."

Proving that Britney fans are seriously devoted 10 years after their idol rose to stardom as a faux-virginal, pop-singing tease, Taylor Swift has proclaimed her "unwavering devotion" to Britney Spears in a rant on her MySpace blog on Friday.

When the country crooner's mother decided to rearrange her stuff, Taylor had a panic attack. The reason? A Britney Spears poster. Here's how she describes it:

"While I was in L.A. my mom reorganized my bathroom... But then I turned around and was startled by something... Where was my Britney Spears poster.... No, this can't be right... WHERE is it?!? I searched the room frantically for a few seconds before finding it's new spot. My Britney Spears poster (from 6th grade) had been relocated to my bedroom, which is another AMAZING upgrade. This way, I see it more often and it more proudly displays my unwavering devotion to Britney Spears."

SWIFT DEVOTION: From her rise to fame in the late 1990s to her train wreck period to her recent comeback, Britney's had a loyal fan in the talented Taylor Swift.

Unfortunately, The Hollywood Gossip misplaced its Britney Spears 2006 calendar when we closed our old office. However, we're pretty sure this was the December pic.

On the surface, Taylor Swift and Lisa Rinna have very little in common.

The former is one of the most popular young singers on the planet, while the latter is a washed up soap opera star baring it all in Playboy next month in order to stay remotely relevent.

Still, these two celebs share at least one trait: fashion taste.

The Jonas Brothers: Baby-faced trio that has sold millions of albums in 2008. Wildly popular rising stars. Makes sense.

Demi Lovato: BFF to all The Jonas Brothers, yet utterly unknown to anyone outside of loyal celebrity gossip readers. Those at the party half our staff attended were more confused about her identity than they were about why anyone would spend New Year's Eve in Times Square.

Lionel Richie: Father of Nicole Richie. Last recorded a commercially successful album in 1986.

Taylor Swift: Ex-girlfriend of Joe Jonas. Has publicly slammed Joe for dumping her over the phone and immediately moving on with actress Camilla Belle.

You really had to watch this group ring in 2009 together in order to truly grasp how awkward it was for everyone involved. Swift turned to the crowd for the duration of the celebration, pretending to wave to fans - but likely contemplating how many bones would break if she jumped.

Lil Wayne was nominated for eight Grammy Awards, including the prestigious album of the year honors. Lil Waybe will face off against Coldplay in that category. The British rockers were close behind, earning seven nominations total.

The Grammy nominations were announced on primetime TV as part of a special concert featuring live performances by Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and some douchebag whose name we forget. The event was co-hosted by Taylor Swift.

Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West were other top Grammy nominees this year – each with six nods. Radiohead was nominated for five awards, as were Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, who released the collaborative album Raising Sand.

2008's album of the year contenders are Coldplay (Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends); Lil Wayne (Tha Carter III); Robert Plant & Alison Krauss (Raising Sand); Ne-Yo (Year of the Gentleman); and Radiohead (In Rainbows).

Pop-rock trio The Jonas Brothers led the list of best new artist nominees, along with Taylor Swift and British singers Adele and Duffy. They will compete against country group Lady Antebellum and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan.

CBS will broadcast the 51st Grammy Awards on February 8.

Joe Jonas may have moved on to Camilla Belle, but there's no doubt that Taylor Swift is a rising star in her own right - and for her style as well as music!

The country crooner showed off an elegant straight updo at the CNN Heroes Tribute, then brought back her signature curls for the AMAs the next night.
