Mr. Big have a problem with commitment, but Sex And The City star Chris Noth has no problem with settling down in real life. He's engaged to Tara Wilson!

Noth proposed to his longtime partner, who is also known as Tara Lynn Wilson according to some publications, and they are now planning their big day.

The couple broke the news of their engagement at a fashion show over the weekend, where Tara Wilson was sporting a large diamond engagement ring.

A source reported of the day: “It all happened very recently. This is the first time they have appeared in public with her wearing that huge diamond ring.”

Further details of the impending nuptials have yet to be released.

Chris and Tara have been dating since 2004. They have 19-month-old son, Orion, together. In addition to the Sex and the City movie sequel, Chris Noth is currently shooting the new CBS series The Good Wife.

Actor Chris Noth and girlfriend Tara Wilson welcomed a son into the world on Friday.

"I am happy to confirm that Chris Noth and Tara Wilson are the proud parents of a happy and healthy baby boy," the actor's rep said.

Orion Christopher Noth was born in Los Angeles on Friday, and weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. His father, of course, has been busy filming Sex and the City: The Movie.
