Tameka Foster Nixes Plans for Usher Album, Life

Tameka Foster is putting her pregnant, older, hated-on-by-fans foot down: she doesn't want Usher to release a CD next month.

The man born as Usher Raymond has a lot riding on this new album, which was supposed to drop in November - but it looks like his new wife has other plans for her man.

According to Page Six, the R&B star "only listens to Tameka now, and she wants all Usher's focus to be on her and the baby."

Can you imagine Jordan Bratman controlling the career of Christina Aguilera in that way? Or Gabriel Aubry bossing around Halle Berry in such a manner? Neither can we.

Even more problems arise because Usher has several other business ventures tied to this album launch, such as a new fragrance.

"The album had been in the works for over a year ... now it looks like it's never going to happen,"said a source.

At least music fans will have new CDs from Britney Spears, Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis to look forward to still.

Tameka Foster and Usher to Have a Boy

Usher and his Bride The rumors are true: Usher and Tameka Foster are going to have a boy.

So, what is the singer looking forward to the most about being a father?

"I just want my son to fully be coherent and to be healthy, first and foremost," he told People at the Usher for Men and Usher for Women fragrance launch party at Cipriani in Manhattan.

"I've found that it is a step-by-step process. You can wish for a million and one things. But I hope that my son has the same energy I had as a child," Usher added. "Hopefully, he won't be as bad as me. I hope that he's just a healthy son."

Meanwhile, many haters fans are wondering what the state of Usher's new bride happens to be? The reply: Foster is feeling "beautiful," but is having odd cravings, just like Halle Berry.

"I eat ice all day," she said. "It's a weird thing. I love it. Now I'm thinking about ice. I want to find some ice."

Maybe Gabriel Aubry can pick her up a bag or six dozen.

Usher and Tameka Foster: The Wedding Photos

Sorry, Tameka Foster haters.

There's no doubt now that she and Usher have tied the knot. Below, we've collected a slew of pictures from what looks to be a gorgeous wedding.

Describing the huge ceremony and reception on September 1, Usher himself said:

"There was a wonderful energy everywhere we were. The wedding was beyond beautiful."

Reportedly, it included southern cuisine such as buttermilk fried chicken, along with a mirrored dance floor on which these two could bust some serious moves as a married couple.

Bustin Moves

As Heidi Montag tries on wedding dresses, she might wish to consider this concept. It's a bit more classy than the mirrored ceiling her and Spencer Pratt probably have planned for their big day.

So take a look at these and other Tameka Foster photos and then answer this question for us:

If Usher seems so happy with his new bride, why do his fans detest her so much? Let us know right now on our forums: What do you think of this couple?

Usher Hopes Tameka Foster Squeezes Out a Boy

Fans may despise Tameka Foster, but Usher is madly in love with his future baby's mama.

That could change, however, if his new wife doesn't deliver a son to the R&B superstar. He recently told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that he really wants a little man around the house.

Ellen: "Last time you were here, you were single. You said you wanted a lady that you could take from the Waffle House to the White House. You found her."
Usher: "I did. I found someone that I'm very, very happy to call my wife."

Ellen: "Is it a boy or a girl?"
Usher: "I don't know. I want it to be a boy."

Ellen: "Now, you're going to have a girl and she's going to see this tape and say, "Daddy, why don't you love me?" You better save some for some therapy. But you're going to love her if it's a little girl."
Usher: "Yeah."

Ellen: "You want a boy, why? So you can play sports with him?"
Usher: "I think every man wants a son. He's own little own doll. If it's a boy, I'm going to name him Usher. I'm hoping to name him that. I've been playing with a few names. I'm the fourth. Usher Raymond the fourth. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I'll change the middle name."

With Child

Usher and Tameka Foster to Make it Official. Again.

They canceled their wedding the first time.

So it only makes sense that Usher and Tameka Foster would plan a second set of nuptials in order to make up for it.

The controversial couple is reportedly planning an official wedding ceremony this weekend in Atlanta, according to Us Weekly.

The rumored event will be more similar to pair's original plans for a celebration. That gathering at the Hamptons was canceled at the last minute on July 28 in favor of a small private gathering days later on August 3.

Guests are rumored to include Jermaine Dupri, Janet Jackson, Ashanti, and Diddy.

Umeka!

Usher and Tameka Foster - aka "Umeka" - are set to challenge Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock for most wedding ceremonies. We all know how well that union turned out.

Supposedly, Usher and Foster, are holding the party in Atlanta so friends and family will be able to attend easily. And so the city can have something to focus on aside from Michael Vick.

Usher and Tameka Foster: The I Do Details

You may hate the union between Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster, folks, but one look at the photo below reveals just who does approve of this relationship:

Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

Usher, Tameka and Barack Indeed, if the potential leader of the free world doesn't have a problem with this pairing, why do celebrity gossip followers despise it so much? Maybe the insightful Cisco Adler knows.

Usher spoke to Us Weekly about he and Foster's marriage, along with his plans for the future.

"It was beautiful and private," the R&B singer said. "We didn't have a first dance â€" but we had a lovely, intimate dinner filled with candlelight and flowers."

Wait, Usher didn't have a first dance?!? Isn't that sort of like Paulina James not having a first orgasm?

The couple's plans now are simple: to have a larger wedding ceremony ("sometime later in the year, or after the baby is born," Usher said) and to "prepare for the birth of our first child."

Sounds reasonable to us. As Trista Sutter can relate to, having a child isn't easy. We wish these two the best of luck with it.

Usher and Tameka Foster are "Happily Married"

Sorry, Tameka Foster haters:

Not only is your nemesis married to Usher now, but the music star himself says it's a happy union. After getting hitched to his pregnant fiancee in Atlanta Friday, Usher told Us Magazine:

"I exchanged vows with Tameka Foster in Atlanta on Friday and we are happily married."

The couple was originally scheduled to tie the knot on July 28 at music executive L.A. Reid's posh pad on Long Island, but those plans were canceled after Foster was hospitalized following a pregnancy scare brought on by the stress of the wedding.

The Expecting Couple

Those against the nuptials were hopeful that the ceremony would never take place, as they considered Tameka almost as evil as Simon Monjack.

But a small, private wedding was held in the singer's lawyer's office; and despite reports of bad blood between Foster and Jonetta Patton, Raymond's mother and former manager, she was on hand Friday to witness the event.

"They did exactly what they should have done and said they were going to do. They are very happy," a friend of the couple said.

And we're excited for them. Compared to Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes, Usher and Foster seem like a perfectly normal couple.

Usher and Tameka Foster Actually Do Tie the Knot

Sorry, Tameka Foster haters. Your nemesis has officially made Usher an honest man.

The two reportedly exchanged vows in the Atlanta office of his lawyer â€" a far different affair than the event planned for last weekend at music mogul L.A. Reid's Sagaponack, N.Y., home. Usher and Foster had spent $10,000 on invitations alone, and had lined up singer Robin Thicke to perform and renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, along with Sylvia's of Harlem, to cook.

But Friday, in their home state of Georgia, the People magazine says the affair was much simpler.

Newly Hitched

WE DO!

The marriage came after speculation that the couple had called things off because of arguments involving everything from the wedding plans to the fact that Usher's mother, Jonetta Patton, didn't approve of Foster.

However, Tameka called this nothing but celebrity gossip, when the original nuptials were called off due a "pregnancy scare" for this woman whose five months along; which is just half as far along as Bridget Moynahan.

A source also told People that it was never a question that they would marry at some point and that Usher "wants to be there for a baby." Unlike Eddie Murphy.

Usher Camp: Tameka Foster Made Up "Baby Scare"

The haters are out in full force against Tameka Foster after her canceled wedding last weekend with Usher, even if the singer himself insists all is well.

"Tameka and the baby are fine," Usher told Us Weekly yesterday. "As of right now, we don't have a date, but we will let you know when we do."

Just after the wedding was scuttled, the New York Daily News reports that Usher flew home - alone - to be with his estranged mother, Jonetta Patton, in Atlanta.

Usher In a Wedding?

This triggered the rumors that he couldn't go through with the ceremony without Jonetta Patton by his side. After all, says a source, "Usher has always been a mama's boy."

Later, Tameka Foster followed him to Atlanta, telling People that she had a baby scare during the tumultuous weekend.

Perez Hilton was the first to report that Foster, who is four months pregnant, had come into in pre-term labor.

But sources close to Usher's family say she used the supposed scare as a mere ploy "to get Usher to talk to her," and they are "unsure if there was a baby scare at all."

"Tameka is using a publicist and is trying to smooth this whole thing over in her favor," a friend told The Daily News' Jo Piazza.

Says another source in the anti-Tameka Foster faction:

"Usher wouldn't speak to Foster [on Saturday] â€" and that's when she told him there were problems with the baby. She just wanted to get him to talk to her again."

Usher and Tameka Foster flew back to New York together this week.

"She made sure those magazines got their photo op with her and Usher after they left the Mandarin Oriental yesterday," said the source.

Usher: I'm Still Going to Marry Tameka Foster!

Just because Usher Raymond IV and pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster canceled their nuptials abruptly last Saturday, fans shouldn't count the couple out just yet!

Sad news for a lot of you, we know.

Usher, Tameka Foster Going Strong!

The singer exclusively tells Us Weekly that he still loves Tameka and it's only a matter of time before he and Foster walk down the aisle.

"As of right now, we don't have a date, but we will let you know when we do," said the very handsome Usher.

The couple, who scheduled a July 28 ceremony at the Long Island home of music exec L.A. Reid, called off the wedding at the last minute with no explanation.

Multiple newspaper and celebrity gossip outlets speculated that the cancellation was due to bad blood between Foster and Usher's mom, Jonetta Patton.

Also rumored to be to blame for the debacle? Reports of Tameka Foster's criminal past, as well as her resistance to signing a pre-nup.

However, a source close to the couple dismisses the rumors.

"People are just hating," says the insider.

Earlier today, Foster herself hinted that the real reason they postponed the wedding was due to her pre-term labor, admitting that she and the baby "had a scare."

According to an Usher source, at noon on Friday, the four-months pregnant Tameka Foster was admitted to St. Vincent's Medical Center in N.Y. City after suffering cramping. There, "she learned it was just uneasiness brought on by the stress of the wedding."

At that point, the singer decided to postpone the ceremony. But no worries - when it comes to being a hot couple, Usher and Tameka Foster are solid as a rock.

"Everbody's fine. Tameka and the baby are fine," Usher himself told Us Weekly today, after the couple arrived via private plane in New York.

"We're good. We're all doing great now," Tameka Foster said.

Meanwhile, another friend of the couple assures the celebrity news magazine that there will be an "I do" do-over in the near future.

"There will be a second wedding ceremony," a pal of Usher's dished. "This is just a postponement. They are very much in love."

Usher, 28, and Foster, 37, got engaged in January after about a year of dating. The couple announced Foster's pregnancy in June. The baby will be Usher's first child, whereas Foster has three children from a previous marriage.
