The former star of Laguna Beach and private Nicole Scherzinger nude bedroom scenes, Talan Torriero, has his eyes set on playing sea king superhero Aquaman in the upcoming film Justice League of America. Talan tells MTV Movies:

"You know what I really am pushing for? I really want to be Aquaman in Justice League of America. It's a superhero movie, so it's probably hard to even get in there, but I really want it badly. I really want to be Aquaman so badly."

Talan Torriero says that rather than be delusional and aspire to be Johnny Depp or Jack Nicholson, he'd settle for Ryan Reynolds or Paul Walker at this point in his fledgling career. Or maybe Hairspray star Zac Efron.

"I auditioned for Link in Hairspray [on Broadway]... I love the musical, I watched all the movies and listened to the soundtrack, and it really captured me. But Broadway, it's a dream. Who doesn't want to be under the lights and sing?"

Auditions for Justice League began last month, Talan Torriero said. Recently, the aspiring actor has been linked to former troubled Miss USA Tara Conner.

Among those tryin' out: Adam Brody, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Michael Angarano, Teresa Palmer, Max Thieriot, rapper Common and Friday Night Lights stars Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter.

For a guy who was barely featured on Laguna Beach, Talan Torriero sure has dated some hot girls. People magazine caught up with the young hottie to talk about his famous flings, as well as rumors about The Hills being a tad staged.

"They kind of found out who did what, who liked this person and who liked that person, and almost created characters on [The Hills]," Talan Torriero said.

"When you watch it, it has the dynamics of a real show. Laguna Beach was as real as reality shows get. And it was shot in a way that people thought, is this real or fake?"

The Laguna Beach grad and aspiring actor also dished a bit about a certain pair of high school friends and co-stars, Lauren Conrad and Jason Wahler.

Lauren Conrad, Talan Torriero says, is still a very good friend of his, and her enormous success with The Hills and her other endeavors is very much deserved.

"I talk to Lauren all the time. She's one of my best friends," Torriero said. "We had a time where we didn't really talk, because we just fell out of touch. Recently, I ran into to her and we started hanging out again. She's a great girl. The Hills is huge. It's definitely not a bad thing to be in your early 20s and have your own show on MTV and your own clothing line. She has a great future."

As for Jason Wahler, Torriero's pal and Conrad's ex, Torriero says he doesn't "really talk to Jason ... At the end of the day, I know he's a great guy just from knowing him when I was a kid. We all have different ways of dealing with hard times."

Talan Torriero also talked about his girlfriends, such as a rumored fling with Tara Conner, who he says "inspired me a lot, because she's a girl who was put under a microscope by the entire nation, and she was able to overcome adversity."

As for being Tara Conner's current boyfriend, Talan Torriero denies it, saying the rebellious Miss USA stunner is "just a good friend."

Torriero also explains his appeal to "older women," including Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, 29, and former fiancée Kimberly Stewart, 28.

"You know what it is? I matured a lot faster than other people. A lot of the girls my age, not all of them, like to play games and I don't like to do that," Torriero says.

"I think older women go on a date with me, and then they say, ‘Wait, how old are you again?' And then they're like, ‘Well I'm already dating you, I might as well keep dating you.' I'm not necessarily going after cougars or anything. At the end of the day, it's just about being happy."

Might Tara Conner be next for this former Laguna Beach star?

Granted, most of us have seen the naughty regions on this beauty pageant winner after a series of lewd pictures of Conner were released a few months ago.

But TMZ.com is now reporting that Torriero is actually tapping this formerly addicted to cocaine piece of booty. The two were recently spotted at Hyde, entering the back door together and then leaving in the same car.

It's worth noting that Talan Torriero has also dated Kimberly Stewart and taken Kristin Cavallari to the prom. All these women must be attracted to his use of alliteration.

As in piggyback ride, of course.

Nicole Scherzinger, the only recognizable member of the venerable Pussycat Dolls (at least before the sexy Asia Nitollano burst on the scene) loosened up her buttons (uh-huh) and straight up fronted on her boyfriend.

That beau of several months is Laguna Beach alumnus Talan Torriero (really, it is), with Scherzinger on a Hawaiian getaway over the weekend. 

Suffice it to say, that's one wet pussy. Cat. Doll. Sorry.

No word on how the hell Talan Torriero landed a hot babe like Nicole, but the guy once took Kristin Cavallari to a prom, so he's not a complete novice when it comes to the ladies.

Oh, and there was his engagement to Kimberly Stewart, which lasted a whole few days. To think, he was almost Sean Stewart's brother-in-law. Dodged a bullet there, T-squared!

As for Talan's Laguna brethren, Stephen Colletti dates Hayden Panettiere, while Jason Wahler has many court dates. So we'd rate Torriero's efforts somewhere in the middle.

Leave it to the super spies at TMZ to uncover the latest random celebrity couple. Nicole Scherzinger, front-kitty of the Pussycat Dolls, has been spotted with Talan Torriero, the baby-faced, often-overshadowed star of seasons one and two of Laguna Beach.

The pair were seen dining at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday. Clearly the date wasn't too enthralling, as they are both on their respective phones during lunch. Nicole also hid under a hood and behind giant shades. Weak! hat happened to the rampant exhibitionism we're used to seeing from the Pussycat Dolls!? We're probably just spoiled by Britney Spears.

Some of you gossip hounds may recall that Talan was engaged to Kimberly Stewart for like a day. He also got it on with Kristin Cavallari while on Laguna Beach and has been linked to other stars, including the Ms. Crotch of Fire herself, Lindsay Lohan, since leaving the MTV reality hit and becoming a full-fledged D-List celebrity.

Forget Jason Wahler, this is Laguna Beach's true player. Odds are that he will have broken up with Nicole and be spotted snuggling up to Katie Blair by January 1.
