There's a good reason you never see Suri Cruise in jeans.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' kid is way too good for 'em.

She "hates jeans and favors dresses," a source says, revealing some surprising new details on the lavish lifestyles of Suri Cruise and other Hollywood kids.

At the tender age of 3, and 4 next month, Suri, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, also has a penchant for heels - and pricey designer handbags.

The girl even carries around an $850 Ferragamo purse! You know what's crazier? That Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. She lives in like seven different homes!

It was a slow week over at Us, apparently.

Seriously, guys. We get it, okay? Kids of rich people have expensive stuff. Ooh. Why not cover the Jesse James cheating accusations or something more interesting?

Or at least the Jackson kids. Now there's a large, dysfunctional family that doesn't get enough coverage. Especially that little, stun-gun-toting devil Jafaar Jackson.

Kids. They grow up so fast.

It seems like just yesterday that Suri Cruise was born, and we thought she might not have even been real. But she was. And soon became probably one of our favorite celebrity babies of all time. Seriously. She is so cute.

Now, Suri Cruise is almost three-and-a-half years old. It's hard to believe how the time flies. One day, their first fecal matter is immortalized in bronze. The next ...

Sorry. Someone actually did that, though, so we're not crazy. What we were trying to say is she may not be a celebrity baby anymore, but she's no less adorable.

Case in point? This photo from the weekend in Boston, where Tom Cruise is filming his new movie Wichita. This tender mother-daughter moment says everything:

Yes, that's the story going around, that Suri Cruise wears heels.

That's even better than the rumor about the three-year-old only eating with chopsticks - and it's actually true! There are pictures of the little tyke's shoes!

The reason? She takes after her mom, a real robot girly-girl.

"Suri's very much like her mother," her dad, Tom Cruise, told Hello! "She will not wear trousers, only dresses. I put a pair of trousers on her and turn and leave the room and straight away the trousers are off and a dress is on instead!

"The other day, Kate showed her some gold-colored sneakers, and she looked at them and said, 'Oh mommy, these are lovely, but they're boy shoes,'" he added. "She's sweet, but she's very strong-willed - just like her mother."

In any case, Suri Cruise retained her chic child status Monday, sporting a pair of high heels while shopping with mom Katie Holmes in Boston, Mass.

Forget forks, spoons or even her little fingers.

When you're the daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom freaking Cruise, you don't deign to eat dine any differently than when you're downing sushi at Nobu.

Star Magazine says Suri eats only with chopsticks. Those are the only utensils this three-year-old will even go near. She's very cultured, don't you think?

According to a conveniently anonymous source, Suri Cruise simply “doesn’t like to eat with anything else.” Why would she? BOW DOWN to the queen!!

We believe this completely made-up story is supposed to imply that Suri Cruise is some sort of snobby little brat. Or just really interested in Asian cultures.

During a recent visit to posh bakery Le Pain Quotidien, Tom Cruise’s spawn supposedly “wouldn’t touch her sandwich and pastries without them!” Naturally.

To top this ridiculous story off, poor Katie Holmes now has to lug around a pair of her daughter’s preferred eating untensils in her Hermes Birkin bag.

Says the spy,  “It’s the only way she can get her to eat!”

Prior to sending her off to Scientology school to be properly programmed, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw their daughter a third birthday party this week.

Indeed, adorable little Suri Cruise celebrated today's milestone with a small gathering of friends and family at the family's home in Los Angeles on Thursday, two days before officially turning three.

"They just wanted to keep it small and make it fun for Suri and her friends," said a source, referring to the princess-themed celebration, which included a cake featuring Belle from Beauty and the Beast and a treasure hunt.

No word on whether or not BFF Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was in attendance.

But there is a word for how cute Suri is: VERY! It seems like just a few years ago she was born. Check out then-and-now photos below...

So, what do Tom and Katie get the kid that has everything? Admission into the Church of Scientology’s New Village Academy!

Reportedly, the tyke is set to start classes there five days a week.

The school is located in Calabasas, California and actually funded by Will Smith. Its curriculum includes: mathematics, literacy, Spanish, karate, yoga, robotics, technology, etiquette, art, and living skills.

Doesn't sound so bad, right? Yes, it does, according to David S. Touretzky, Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.

He's been critical of the school's use of "study technology," telling The Los Angeles Times last year:

"There is no reputable educator anywhere who endorses [study technology]. What happens is that children are inculcated with Scientology jargon and are led to regard L.R. Hubbard as an authority figure. They are laying the groundwork for later bringing people into Scientology."

So it's considered to be a quasi brain-washing facility? No way Tom Cruise would be open to something like that!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes take education very seriously so much so that they have reportedly doled out a whopping $1 million on classes for their kid.

This wouldn't be as incredible if Suri Cruise weren't two.

According to Showbizspy, Cruise and his wife are keen for the cute little tyke to have a well-rounded upbringing, and are spending a fortune to make it so.

A source reveals:

"It doesn't matter what [Suri Cruise] is doing, Tom wants her to be better than any other child. All parents think their kids are special, but Suri is learning the ways of Xenu French and Spanish and has a tutor she sees once a week."

One happy, overachieving family.

"Suri has shown a real love of Scientology dancing, so Tom and Katie are encouraging her. She practices ballet, tap and modern dance for hours, nearly every day. She also started taking private gymnastics lessons and is learning soccer."

Katie Holmes is convinced that socializing with older kids will benefit her daughter:

"Katie likes to have Victoria and David Beckham's two sons around, since they are older. She thinks Suri will emulate what they do and learn faster."

Wow. The OK! Magazine staff must have been collectively overstimulated when it learned that A-list celebrity babies Shiloh and Suri (last names not required) were getting together for a play date. Almost too much excitement to contain.

"Katie loves entertaining and spoke to Angelina about having an at-home tea party with cupcakes for the girls," a friend of Katie Holmes tells OK!.

"Because of security reasons, Katie can't have just any child over to her home. But with celebrity kids like Shiloh and Zahara, there's no problem."

Katie also wanted to introduce Suri Cruise to other children her age. While the toddler has adopted siblings Connor Cruise, 14, and Isabella Cruise, 16, to play with, the two teenagers are much older, and "Suri's a very shy young lady."

OM-F'N-G: Suri Cruise and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt are totally BFFs. This is quite possibly the greatest development in the history of celebrity gossip tabloids.

Plans for their "mini-meeting" began on January 11 in L.A., when Katie and her husband, Tom Cruise, chatted with Angelina and her partner, Brad Pitt, at a private Golden Globes afterparty thrown by CAA at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

"Since the film, their careers and social circles have become so different, they rarely see each other," explains the source. "But they acted like old friends, talking about their children. They agreed to get their little girls together."

"Katie told Angelina she just knew Suri and Shiloh would get along well," says the insider, "and Suri is already getting into the idea."

The burning question: Which celebrity tot is the cutest?

Tom, Katie and Suri are seen here at Narita International Airport in Chiba, Japan. The Cruise family touched down in Tokyo after an 18-hour flight and were greeted by hundreds of screaming fans. Nevertheless, they were all smiles.

Like most celebrity gossip sites, we occasionally love to make fun of movie star Tom Cruise. That crazy dude just makes himself an easy target sometimes.

Yet for all his quirks, this is how you see him more often than not - doing the things every doting parent does (or would, if they had hundreds of millions).

Last weekend he took son Connor Cruise to the Daytona 500. Still in Florida, he and Katie Holmes moved on to Disney World, where little Suri had a ball ...

The family visited the Magic Kingdom, where Suri Cruise met Mickey and Minnie Mouse, along with some other Disney characters, and dressed in tandem!
