As she praises her new husband, Melanie Brown is still insulting her ex-boyfriend, Eddie Murphy. It's not hard to read between the bitter lines in an interview this Spice Girl recently gave Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine.

"He is a man [and] I don't think I've had a man before," Brown said of Stephen Belafonte. "Normally I'm the man."

So, what's the best quality of this amazing man? According to Brown, it's the fact that he makes her feel less like a Spice Girl and more like a Spice Lady: "He makes me feel like a woman, a lady."

Will Brown and Belafonte now make like Brangelina and add to their brood (which includes Phoenix, 9, and Angel, 11 months). According to Melanie:

"Definitely. If it had been up to me, I would have had five kids by the age of 20."

Following her perfect score on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars, Melanie Brown looks rather happy for herself alongside husband Stephen Belafonte.

As if her problems with ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy - and father of her daughter, Angel Iris - were not enough, it now turns out that new husband Stephen Belafonte is less than a model papa, as well.

According to celebrity gossip expert TMZ, the groom was sued in 2006 to force him to pay child support to his baby mama.

The site has obtained a complaint filed against Belafonte by the County of Los Angeles in 2006, ordering him to pay $254 a month in support for his 3-year-old daughter, Giselle.

That's just slightly less than the amount Brynn Cameron is getting from Matt Leinart.

We do feel badly for Brown, but we're guessing the same isn't being said by Joel Madden: this is all lowering the bar of fatherhood by such a vast amount that he's bound to do a good job.

Wow. And we thought it was news that Bruce Willis has a new girlfriend named Karen McDougal.

Spice Girl Melanie Brown has shot that piece of celebrity news off the front page by actually getting married to music producing boyfriend Stephen Belafonte. Two months ago. We can't say we saw this one coming.

The couple apparently tied the knot on June 6, according to a marriage license filed in Clark County. This was before Brown went off on Eddie Murphy for failing to pay child support for the daughter they created together.

In a statement to People, Brown's rep said: "Regarding the marriage, Mel and Stephen have know each other for many years and were great friends first. Now they are deeply in love. The two are very happy together."

Well, that's good. We just wonder how Blake Fielder-Civil feels about Belafonte perhaps taking over as the most popular, random husband in Hollywood.

According to Scary Spice, all the celebrity gossip attention doesn't bother her new beau: "We don't really play into that world. We just have our own little thing going on."

And that "thing" is now a union as official as that of Usher and Tameka Foster.
