Storage trucks were seen at Lindsay Lohan's home today, as the actress has apparently decided that one run-in with an alleged trespasser is one too many.

"Lindsay's house is more accessible than Starbucks," a source tells E! of her Venice Beach townhome, which has become a magnet for gawkers (and stalkers) of late.

"People sit in lawn chairs with cameras out on the sidewalk. That's one thing, but the incident where the lunatic knocked on her door was the last straw."

Long story short, she's outta there.

"It just got her thinking that she needs to move," the source says. "Lindsay contacted some real estate agents about properties that are gated and more secure."

In the interim, she's moved into the Chateau Marmont ... not a cheap place to live, but those Lindsay Lohan Playboy pictures netted her almost a mill. A mill!

So where's the resurgent star going to settle down when all's said and done?

"When someone makes a change like this (moving), it's natural for them to consider going back to their roots, and in this case, that would be New York."

Once her probation's over, look for a coast-to-coast move. Just a hunch.

If anyone knows any celebrity bodyguards, Lindsay Lohan is in the market.

Her brush with a stalker yesterday lit a fire under her. After some random guy showed up and was arrested at her L.A. home, LiLo's looking to beef up security.

That means surveillance cameras and even a bodyguard on the payroll.

The actress loves her Venice Beach house, but with randoms walking right up to her front door, she's convinced it's time to invest in some extra security.

On top of adding additional security cameras, Lindsay wants to hire a full-time bodyguard to stay with her for a period of time until she feels safe again.

With Lindsay's Playboy photos netting her nearly $1M, she can afford it.

Also eerie? The man arrested for trespassing outside her house, Lonnie Short, shares a bizarre connection with Lindsay's former stalker David Cocordan.

According to sources, when Short knocked on Lohan's door, he announced he was friends with David and needed to explain some things. Beyond creepy.

Short was arrested for trespassing and is still in custody on $1,000 bail.

Lonnie Short is sitting in jail right now after allegedly stalking Lindsay Lohan. The actress called the Venice, Calif., police after he showed up at her front door.

After a strange, unidentified man showed up and knocked on the door looking for her at 6:30 p.m. last night, LiLo understandably freaked the hell out.

Lindsay, 25, came to the door and asked what Short, 64, wanted. The man responded cryptically that he needed to speak with her. Lohan called for help.

After Lindsay asked the man to leave, he refused, demanding she open the door. Police received a call minutes later about a trespasser on Lindsay's property.

According to law enforcement sources, officials showed up soon after and arrested the man for trespassing. Lonnie Short was booked shortly thereafter.

He's being held on $1,000 bail, and hopefully won't go near LiLo again. Just check out Lindsay Lohan Playboy photos instead, man. No need to bother her.

Selena Gomez may still have a restraining order against Thomas Brodnicki, but, unfortunately, it sounds like she may now actually need it.

TMZ confirms that Brodnicki - who has reportedly told LAPD detectives and psychologists that God instructed him to kill the singer - is a free man after a judge dismissed all felony stalking charges against him this afternoon.

The court decreed that even if Brodnicki said said these things, there's no evidence that he plans to actually carry out the threats against Selena. Talk about a dangerous technicality, huh?

Hold Selena extra close tonight, Justin Bieber.

While Justin Bieber fights off questions about Mariah Yeater, his unlikely 30-second-stand/baby mama, the singer's actual girlfriend was in court this week, dealing with a far more serious problem.

Gomez had her restraining order extended today against Thomas Brodnicki, the nut job in custody on federal stalking charges for making repeated threats against the singer.

As part of this morning's hearing, Detective Jose Viramontes swore in a declaration that he interviewed Brodnicki, and the man "reiterated that he had many conversations with God about killing Ms. Gomez." In conclusion, Viramontes stated before a judge that the stalker poses a "credible, serious threat" to Gomez.

Brodnicki pled not guilty to felony criminal stalking yesterday. We'll keep fans apprised of this scary story as more news breaks. Stay safe, Selena.

Former political figure and current professional celebrity Sarah Palin is asking an Alaska judge to extend the restraining orders against her two stalkers.

Shawn and Craig Christy, a father and son from Pennsylvania, were jailed in Alaska back in August for threatening to kill Sarah, her family and friends.

Sarah Palin had obtained restraining orders against the men, but they will expire in November. Thus her formal request to extend the order into 2012.

For now, she has nothing to worry about. Craig and Shawn Christy are still awaiting trial and will remain behind bars until a court date is scheduled.

If Sarah's request is granted, the men will be barred from having any contact with her or any family members in the event that they are released.

A judge is expected to rule on the request by Palin, who recently announced she will not run for president in 2012, in the next few weeks sometime.

Note to the Christys and other creeps: If you want Sarah and Bristol Palin to go away forever, just quit paying attention to them. Nobody's gotta die here.

Kate Major has convinced a Florida judge that Michael Loahn poses such a threat - he has allegedly threatened to "whack" her - that he's been restrained indefinitely.

Major, who used to be engaged to Lohan and has made similar claims about him in the past, only to retract them, says Lindsay Lohan's dad is also harassing her.

Incessant phone calls and texts, threatening to "ruin her career" (whatever that consists of), the works. Michael must now stay at least 500 feet away from Kate.

Happier times in between violent, ridiculous fights.

The judge also declared, hilariously, that Michael Lohan can't have Kate or her father followed by hired muscle. He also is prohibited from phoning or texting her.

MiLo, who has TMZ on speed dial we're guessing, quickly responded on the celebrity news site: "This is just another way of Kate trying to make money."

Not sure how that works exactly, but sure thing Mike.

An obsessed fan who has tried to contact Jessica Simpson for years is kicking it up a notch, writing a memoir about her alleged attempts to sleep with him.

They've never met, mind you.

Simpson's camp has been dealing with Marce William Burchell for years, with her security team on alert - and well aware of his forthcoming publication.

Jennifer Lopez is trying to move on with her life personally and professionally - she's officially on board for season 11 of American Idol - but her ex-husband supposedly won't let her.

First, Us Weekly reported that Anthony has been begging and pleading for a reconciliation; and now an insider tells Perez Hilton the singer is taking his actions a step further.

“He calls her nonstop, especially when he’s drinking, and they had a huge argument in early August," claims this source. "Marc is constantly harassing her and doesn’t think she’ll go through with the divorce."

Is this story true? Who knows. Are Anthony and Lopez legally divorced? Not yet. Stay tuned, folks. Stay tuned.

After Jasmine Villegas was spotted kissing Justin Bieber, she received a number of threats that, we'd like to think, were mostly in jest. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Steven Cintron, a 33-year old man who allegedly offered someone $5,000 to murder the young singer.

Villegas was granted a restraining order against Cintron this week, following documents that proved he sent her thousands of messages between 2006 and 2009. Testified the 17-year old:

"In a couple of the videos, he has appeared holding deadly weapons, i.e. a gun, machete knives stating that he was going to find me, rape me, and kill me."

Villegas says she's been in constant "panic mode" because Cintron also threatened to murder her mother, brother and current boyfriend. One Tweet to her reportedly read:

"You're dead Jasmine. I swear to God I'm going to kill you. I will blow your f**king head off bitch."

Jasmine starred in Bieber's "Baby" video. Cintron is now barred from contacting her via the Internet and must stay at least 100 yards away at all times. Thank goodness.
