Tommy Wilson, son of actor Thomas F. Wilson, who played Biff Tannen in Back to the Future, is emerging as an elite high school pitcher.

Wilson starts for Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks, Calif., and we can imagine that he gets his fair share of heckles thrown his way.

Why? Well, his dad's iconic character was full of 'em. From "butthead," to "chicken," opposing fans have plenty of options.

In 33.1 innings, the younger Wilson, who was only recently added to the starting rotation, has a 1.68 ERA with 44 strikeouts. Excellent numbers.

Dick Trickle, a former NASCAR star, has died. He was 71 years old.

Police in North Carolina believe that Trickle took his own life, shooting himself at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincoln County at 12:02 this afternoon.


Officials say they got a phone call before the shooting in which the caller said there would be a dead body at the cemetery ... and it would be his.

Operators scrambled to call back, but got no answer.

Chad Johnson is officially a wanted man.

Not by Evelyn Lozada, or any NFL team (though we hear the Omaha Beef may be hiring). Authorities are hunting him down for an alleged probation violation.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The former Ochocinco is wanted in Broward County, Fla., where he was placed on probation after his 2012 domestic violence altercation with Evelyn Lozada.

As for he alleged violation? The Broward County D.A.'s office says he failed to report to his probation officer at the scheduled time. Simple as that.

Fred White, the longtime broadcaster for the Kansas City Royals, has died. He passed away yesterday, one day after announcing his retirement.

White was 76.

White died of complications from melanoma. The broadcaster, who had a 40-year association with K.C., had reportedly been sick for some time.

White joined the Royals' broadcast team in 1973 and teamed with Denny Matthews in 1975, with the two serving at the team's voices though 1998.

More recently, White remained an active figure within the MLB organization, acting as the club's director of broadcast services and Royals alumni.

A team statement said the longtime broadcaster passed while in hospice care. His family has requested privacy as they deal with their grief. R.I.P.

A Seattle native named Richard Swanson was killed yesterday morning in Lincoln City, Oregon, not long after he started on an epic trek:

The 42-year old graphic designer was trying to dribble a soccer ball from Washington to Brazil in time for the 2014 World Cup.
