Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez, who was charged with murder yesterday, not only planned out a man's killing but the concealing of evidence.

Hernandez, police believe, drove Odin Llyod to a remote spot in an industrial park in the dead of night following a feud at a nightclub three nights earlier.

There, he "orchestrated his execution," prosecutors believe.

The Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks were the talk of the Windy City Tuesday ... at least among those who bothered to go to work.

Not surprisingly, an overwhelming number of people - particularly men - took all or half of the day off in the wake of the NHL team's thrilling triumph.

Cup Crazy

CBS 2 says the team's big win meant a big loss in productivity city-wide. With the exception of the Sports Authority and similar companies, of course.

Monday night’s raucous celebrations following Chicago's win over Boston gave way to an unprecedented wave of sick calls, late starts and half days.

One HR manager estimated that “In Chicago, at least 25 percent of the workforce is coming in late ... we foresee millions in productivity losses.”

And to think ... there's gonna be a parade too.

The NBA Hall of Famer says he was outside Nobu in Malibu when the drunk, overly aggressive guy who had been badgering him all evening accosted him.

Pippen even agreed to take a photo with the man outside the restaurant, but the man continued to be aggressive, demanding an autograph as well.

Scottie says he refused, only to have the man drop the n-bomb, shove him and spit on him - and his young daughter, at which point he lost it.
