"This is our f--king city."

With those five words, Red Sox slugger David Ortiz encapsulated an entire city's attitude Saturday, one day after the Boston bombing suspect was captured.

Before the team's Saturday game, before which the governor, mayor and law enforcement officials were honored, Ortiz took the mic to address the crowd:

"This is our f--king city, and nobody's going to dictate our freedom," Ortiz said after thanking authorities, then helped lead Boston to a 4-3 victory over K.C.

In recent years, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recoiled at such language displays, issuing huge fines to networks that air them.

On Saturday, no one bleeped out Ortiz, and the FCC Tweeted that was A-OK.

Good for them. Some things kind of warrant an f-bomb, don't you think?

You have to watch the anchors of Good Day Philly break down in tears - laughing - three seconds after completing an interview with Olympian Ryan Lochte.

Ryan came on the show to promote his new reality show, What Would Ryan Lochte Do? Apparently Ryan doesn't do TV interviews, that's for sure.

Check out the end of this one - and the anchors' reactions:

You know it's bad when you zone out live on camera, as if your mind is somewhere else (or just absent) ... and then when you do talk, it may be worse.

But hey, the man can swim a 400-meter individual medley, and "if you're the man at night, you gotta be a man in the morning" is a mantra to live by.

Whatever that means.

Two days after the Boston Marathon bombing that left three people dead and over 170 injured, one of the city's professional sports teams played its first home game.

And its fans rallied behind their squad and their country.

Holding signs that read "Boston Strong," those in attendance at the TD Garden belted out a stirring rendition of the national anthem. Watch them do so now:

Earlier in the week, in another show of supports, Yankee fans sang Sweet Caroline, a Neil Diamond track that is played at every Red Sox home game in the eighth inning.

If that is not a sign of unity, what possibly could be?

A video purporting to contain the world's greatest jump roping is circulating online. We don't have a huge frame of reference, but ... it's not wrong.

Dubbed the "world's greatest jump roper," this girl ain't doing double dutch here. Think cartwheels while jumping to jumping while sitting down, etc.

Watch in awe at her mad skills below:

One might not think of jumping rope as an extreme sport, but this athlete makes it look rather insane ... and makes us feel awfully out of shape and uncoordianted.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Houston Rockets in overtime last night, earning the seventh seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.

But the seat below coach Mike D'Antoni still might feel a bit hot this offseason.

Sources confirm to ESPN that Phil Jackson, who owns a record 11 championship rings, is "itching" to return to the NBA in some capacity.

It's possible he takes on a front office gig, but a head coaching job is likely his first choice.
