If you followed Kurt Warner's story at all, you know it was only a matter of time before Mr. "Supermarket to Super Bowl" would be the subject of a feel-good biopic.

Well it appears as if that time is now as it has just been announced that 20th Century Fox is taking on the rags to riches tale.

A Virginia Tech student recently asked Nirvana to record a video shout-out ... and may or may not be under the impression that Kurt Cobain is alive and/or a woman.

Nirvana's former label, Sub Pop, posted the letter they got from the VT student asking them to record this message to university students:

"What's up, Virginia Tech? This is Nirvana! Just wanted to wish you guys a Happy Homecoming Week and good luck at the game this Saturday. LETS [sic] GO HOKIES!"

The student would be happy to link back to Nirvana's Facebook and Twitter accounts, they said, and then added this kicker to further make the case:

"It presents great publicity for them, as well as Virginia Tech loves Nirvana. We'd love to have her in our video." Alongside the Ying Yang Twins, no less.

Castillo went 82-104 with a 4.56 ERA in 13 years for the Cubs, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox and Miami Marlins.

Marcus Jordan, former college basketball player and son of Michael Jordan, is in hot water over an picture of a penis (presumably his) that was blasted from his Twitter.

Anthony Weiner would approve. Everyone else, not so much.

NOTE: We censored the above pic, because it was a giant penis.

The X-rated Tweet, which was quickly deleted, was sent to Deadspin by a tipster, according to the sports site - and quickly disavowed by Jordan.

He used his own suspect Twitter history to claim he didn't do it:

Texas A&M football star Johnny Manziel is back in the news again, this time for being kicked out of a frat party at the University of Texas this weekend.

Manziel, attending a fraternity party at the University of Texas, was "quickly and harshly" kicked out of the event Friday night after a deluge of taunts.

Dressed in a soaked pink golf shirt and black baseball cap, Manziel barely evaded the brunt of an airborne beer can amid screams of "get the f--k out!"

Never a dull moment for Johnny Football.

Tiger, who's on good terms with Elin these days after his rampant cheating ended their marriage, is joining her and their two kids on holiday in Sweden.

Elin Nordegren reportedly approves of her relationship with Tiger, and gave the lovebirds her blessing, but Lindsey Vonn is still concerned, sources say.

Apparently, she fears that the one-time serial cheater will try to get with Elin behind her back, and would reconcile with her if his efforts are successful.

Says a source of the couple:

Warning: The following video is graphic in nature.

In the eighth inning of his team's victory over the Mets last night, Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson covered first base on a ground ball hit by Eric Young.

Unfortunately, Young's foot came down on the veteran's ankle toward the end of the play, causing Hudson to fall to the ground in obvious, severe pain.

Replays depict just how gruesome an injury the 15-year star suffered, as the bottom of his leg is twisted at a 90-degree angle.

Atlanta has since announced Hudson will undergo surgery and it seems very unlikely he will pitch again this season.
