Paulina Gretzky is engaged to Dustin Johnson.

Maybe you've already heard, and mourned.

The 24-year-old daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky broke the news this weekend and flashed a seriously impressive engagement ring on Instagram.

Her Instagram, of course, is legendary in and of itself.

Here's a look some of the best Paulina Gretzky photos from the past few years, along with some fun facts about the fiancee of PGA Tour pro Dustin Johnson:

Paulina Gretzky's dad is nicknamed "The Great One" because he is the best hockey player ever, if not the greatest athlete in any sport in human history.

Seriously, he was that good ... and he did equally well passing on his genes with model-actress Janet Jones. Says Paulina of growing up in his shadow:

Alex Rodriguez was hit by a pitch last night in Boston, an event that led to the eruption of the Fenway Park crowd, the ejection of Yankees manager Joe Girardi and general chaos.

Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster, clearly trying to send a message, drew cheers from the fans when his first pitch to the reviled star went behind his knees in the second inning.

With his fourth pitch in the at-bat, he drilled A-Rod in the shoulder. It was awesome.

The crowd went berzerk, as did Girardi, who ran out of the dugout, screaming at the ump and Dempster. Girardi was ejected while both bullpens emptied.

Dempster, incredibly, was not ejected, no doubt fueling Girardi's rage; Rodriguez stared at the pitcher as he started toward first base but did not engage him.

A-Rod, who is playing as he appeals his 211-game suspension for steroid use, got the last laugh, later hitting his second asterisk-laden home run of the season.

The Yankees won 9-6, climbing within 7.5 games of first-place Boston.

South African sprinter and fallen global hero Oscar Pistorius was formally indicted early Monday on charges of murder and illegal possession of ammunition.

He was charged in the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in the early hours of Valentine's Day. Pistorius has pleaded not guilty.

The man known as the "Blade Runner," due to the blade-shaped prostheses he wears in competitions, was informed that his trial would begin  March 3.

Because South Africa does not hold trials by jury, a judge will preside over the trial and will render a verdict in the 26-year-old's stunning case.

Pistorius says he mistook his his girlfriend of several months, Steenkamp, for an intruder and shot her through a locked door the night of the murder.

Paulina Gretzky is engaged to Dustin Johnson, breaking the hearts of pretty much every single straight male in the U.S. with the exception of Wayne Gretzky.

Sorry, guys.

Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson

The 24-year-old daughter of The Great One announced the heartwarming/breaking news of her impending marriage to the PGA Tour pro on Instagram.

Saturday, with a pic of a giant diamond rock on her ring finger, she shared an image of herself locking lips with Johnson, 29, writing "Never been happier."

As such, her Instagram may no longer retain its must-follow status. Sigh.

The couple has been together for only 7-8 months ... but if you've seen Paulina Gretzky photos, you can understand Dustin's goal in putting a ring on it.

With everyone's fantasy football draft just days away, THG is here to offer advice on practically every position on the field.

Which quarterback should you take after Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees? What about the best running back after Adrian Peterson? The top receiver after Calvin Johnson?

Now, it's time for the tight ends. We'd stay away from Aaron Hernandez and then we'd pick the following players in the order listed below:

Graham, Jimmy
  1. Jimmy Graham: The clear top choice. He's Brees' number-one option and he's in a contract year.
  2. Rob Gronkowski: He's either number-two... or he's not on the list. Recent back surgeries make it impossible to know his status, but will challenge Graham is healthy.
  3. Jason Witten: It doesn't get much less sexy... or much more consistent.
  4. Tony Gonzalez: Ditto, really. No way would he return for another season if he didn't feel like he could compete at a high level.
  5. Antonio Gates: Has fallen considerably from his status a couple years ago, but still among the elite. Pretty big drop-off after him.
  6. Vernon Davis: Had a couple big playoff games, but didn't really connect with Colin Kaepernick prior to them. The loss of Michael Crabtree could also mean more double teams.
  7. Kyle Rudolph: Someone has to catch the ball in Minnesota. Right?
  8. Brandon Pettigrew: Will be overshadowed by Calvin Johnson, of course, but where do you think Matthew Stafford will turn whenever Megatron draws too many defenders?
  9. Greg Olsen: A quality safety valve for Cam Newton.
  10. Owen Daniels: Finished at number-8 tight end in regular ESPN fantasy scoring last year despite nagging injuries.

The 911 call placed moments after Gia Allemand was found by boyfriend Ryan Anderson has been released, and it's obviously a very sad audio clip.

The Bachelor star was discovered by the NBA player Monday, following an apparent suicide attempt; Gia Allemand died two days later in the hospital.

While the tape's quality is not the best, it gives you an idea of what transpired.

In the clip, it appears you can hear Ryan saying "don't stop" giving CPR, presumably to Gia's mom, after the dispatcher gives instructions on the phone.

"Keep going, don't stop CPR, don't stop," says Ryan Anderson, calmly.
