Usually when you say "catfight" it's a silly fight between two women, done most often over Facebook or in homeroom.

Now there is a Catfighting sport that involves hair-pulling, smacking, and professional wrestling moves.

We are not making this up.

Seriously? I'm sure I'm not the only woman that gives this the definite side-eye.

Crawl around in a ring and smack each other if you like, but let's not go so far as to call it a sport.

Reigning Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli shocked the tennis world on Wednesday by announcing her retirement from the sport at the age of 28.

Following a second round loss to Romanian Simona Halep at the Western and Southern Open, Bartoli said: "I just really can't do it anymore."

Her surprise announcement comes just six weeks after she beat Germany's Sabine Lisicki at Wimbledon to claim her one and only Grand Slam title.

Marion Bartoli was bullied online following that win, but shook all that off without a second thought. Enduring pure physical pain was another story.

She contemplated calling it quits right after that, citing the injured left foot, right ankle, right hamstring and Achilles tendon injury that she is battling.

We ask again: Is Hayden Panettiere engaged to Wladimir Klitschko?

This is not the first time the rumor has swirled around the Nashville cutie and her boxer beau, and things took a new, potentially misleading turn this week.

The 23-year-old actress was spotted with a giant, sparkly ring on her finger - yes, that finger, unlike a few months ago, when it was on the wrong hand.

If that's not an engagement ring, she has everyday interesting taste ...

The duo dated from 2009-11 but rekindled the romance earlier this year.

Asked back in May if she is indeed walking down the aisle in the near future, the star held up both of her hands and declared simply "No ring."

That was then, and this (see video above) is now … so you tell us.

New England Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady hurt his left knee during a scrimmage with Tampa Bay Wednesday, but it looks like he avoided serious injury.

During a full team workout, Tampa defensive end Adrian Clayborn bull-rushed Pats left tackle Nate Solder into the side of Brady's leg as Brady was throwing.

All three players hit the turf. Brady rocked backward on the ground holding his left knee. He did, however, get up and limp off the field under his own power.

He returned for a few plays before talking with coach Bill Belichick and leaving with trainers. An MRI on Brady's knee showed no structural damage.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady made their son Benjamin the center of attention as the supermodel surprised her NFL superstar husband at training camp.

Acting like normal parents (who are totally in love with their child), they showered the cutie with kisses and made for an adorable family moment Tuesday:

The New England Patriots quarterback joined his family on the field after completing a joint workout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, looking happy as ever.

Ben, 3, seemed to be having a good time as well. Just a hunch.

Meanwhile, the duo's 7-month-old daughter, Vivian, was absent, likely resting from her recent vacation in Costa Rica, where she enjoyed QT with mom.

Cute family. If only they had any talents to show for it ...

Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive standout Hugh Douglas has been fired by ESPN after allegedly calling his co-host Michael Smith an "Uncle Tom."

Douglas, co-host of Numbers Never Lie, reportedly got into a heated altercation with Smith at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention.

At the Florida event last week, Hugh allegedly hurled the racially charged insult at Smith (both are African-American), who he also reportedly threatened to beat up.

Douglas never confirmed the incident, but ESPN had previously told media outlets they were "aware there was a disagreement" between the two men.

ESPN then fired Douglas moments ago.

Douglas tweeted, "I am very disappointed to be leaving ESPN and will have more to say about this situation and my future at the appropriate time."

Very sad news this week out of Atlanta:

A Braves fan who had been been waiting out a rain delay in the smoking area of the upper deck fell over the railing and plummeted 65 feet to his death in the players' parking lot, just moments after hanging up on a phone call with his mother.

The victim has been identified as Ronald Lee Homer Jr. He was 30 years old.

"He said 'I love you mom,' and I said 'I love you, too' and that was it," his mother, Connie Homer, said in an interview on Tuesday morning.

Earlier this year, a photo of PGA Tour player Jason Dufner, slouched and emotionless, on a visit to a youth center gave way to meme known as Dufnering.

It truly was an amazing photo, and with the 36-year-old Dufner's PGA Championship win, the #Dufnering tributes have been pouring in like never before.

Dufnering

The picture went viral due to Dufner's blase look while in a class with students at the Salesmanship Youth and Family Center in Dallas, Texas.

His facial expression - which mimics what he looks like on the golf course, no matter how well or poorly he's doing - and his awkward sit-down stance? Classic.

Dufner wasn't actually uninterested while "Dufnering," though. He was helping demonstrate to area youth a "focus activity to help them get ready to learn."
