Joe Flacco is hoping to work out a new deal with the Baltimore Ravens prior to the start of the 2012 NFL season and, in an interview with local radio station WNST 1570 today, said he didn't want to be paid like a very good quarterback.

He wants to get paid like the very best in football.

Ryan Leaf - the number-two pick in the 1998 NFL draft and arguably the biggest bust in league history - was arrested in Montana yesterday.

Details are unclear, but authorities in Great Falls says the former Washington State standout was booked on charges of burglary of a residence, theft and felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He was released on $76,000 bond and is due in court on Monday.
