If Houston-area 10th grader Justise Winslow can avoid getting kicked out of games, his incredible athleticism will make him a prized college basketball recruit.

Winslow, a sophomore at Houston (Texas) St. John's School, was facing off against San Antonio (Texas) Antonian Prep in a holiday tournament in Houston.

In the clip below, the 6'5" small forward decided to take over on an explosive drive to the basket, finishing with a preposterous slam over some poor kid:

Winslow finished the game with 10 points and 12 rebounds ... five seconds later. After finishing the slam, Winslow stared down his dunk victim. Technical foul.

Then, to cap things off, as he walked back up the court, Winslow offered a salute to the St. John's fans in attendance. Second technical and automatic ejection.

Thirty seconds, one enormous slam and two technicals. That's almost as impressive as the stat line put up by Kris Humphries in last night's Nets opener.

Green Bay Packers fans are like no other. The Wisconsin city and its ticket-holders actually own the team, and season tickets are an invaluable commodity there.

As you can imagine, that made tickets to the Christmas game with the arch nemesis Bears the hottest (coldest?) ticket in town ... and a great vehicle for REVENGE!

If her sign is to be believed, this female Packer backer not only dissed one jackass guy in particular, she let a national TV audience know she was smart enough to move on.

  1. Wouldn't it be funny if the guy actually saw this from the couch?
  2. "Ho-Ho-Home Field Advantage" isn't terrible either ...

Nicely played, Packers fan. Not nicely played, Packers fan's ex-boyfriend.

Fans booed Kris Humphries again last night, but this time the power forward rebounded... and rebounded... and rebounded.

In fact, the Nets star enjoyed arguably his best day as a pro, dropping 21 points and 16 boards on the Washington Wizards and helping his team overcome a 20-point second quarter deficit. As you can see in these highlights, Kris showed far more life on the court than on any episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians:

After the game, Humphries said he uses the crowd's negative reaction as "motivation," while Head Coach Avery Johnson told reporters:

"I'm trying to figure out, what did he do? I'm serious. Maybe because I don't follow reality TV, I don't know all the ins and outs of it, but it's pretty hilarious to me. I don't know if they even know why they're booing him."

Ever since ESPN announced that Betty White would be doing "A White Christmas" skit for the December 26 Monday night football tilt, we were looking forward to it.

Betty White is the man, after all. Not literally, of course. She's an 89-year-old woman. But she's the coolest octogenarian around, so this had to be good, right?

Meh. If you enjoy a sweet old lady talking about hot NFL QBs, with holiday themes, it was a smash hit. But Hank Williams Jr. is likely smirking somewhere.

On the plus side, Drew Brees set the NFL passing record last night. Here's a nice HD video of Betty White's lead-in to Monday Night Football on ESPN ...

Drew Brees threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Darren Sproles with a little over two minutes to go last night, giving him 5,087 yards through the air this season.

That was good enough to break Dan Marino's single-season NFL record 5,084, which stood for 27 years, and amazingly, the New Orleans Saints star still has one more game left next week, with playoff implications - so bank on a few hundred more.

The Saints cruised to a 45-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons, improving to 12-3.

Here's Brees' record-setting pass, one of his four TD tosses Monday:

Prize acquisition Chris Paul scored 20 points and nine assists while Blake Griffin added 22 points and seven rebounds as the L.A. Clippers beat the Golden State Warriors 105-86.

Monta Ellis, who was probably happy to be making news for balling instead of texting graphic photos of a Warriors employee, had 15 points and eight assists for G.S.

It was not a spectacular opener for CP3 and Blake, but at least they won, unlike the other L.A. team, the Lakers, who were undone by Derrick Rose's game winner.

The Clippers are expected to be a playoff contender for the first time in an eternity, and here's a big reason why. Watch a nice highlight of Griffin throwing it down:

Chicago Bulls star guard Derrick Rose hit a short go-ahead jumper with 4.8 seconds to play, completing an 11-point comeback and sealing a 88-87 victory over the Lakers.

In what was both teams' Christmas Day opener, Luol Deng blocked Kobe Bryant's short shot right before the buzzer as the Bulls hung on for a wild finish in Los Angeles.

Playing with a torn wrist ligament, Kobe scored 28 points and nearly helped L.A. shake off a tumultuous preseason with win. But alas. Here's Rose's game-winning shot:

On this Christmas Day, we are not greeting readers with a ho, ho, ho. But rather with a: no, no, no he didn't!

During yesterday's Bengals/Cardinals matchup, Cincinnati wide receiver Jerome Simpson took a swing pass from quarterback Andy Dalton, ran untouched down the sideline and was then greeted by a defender at the goal line. His reaction?

It must be seen to be believed. Simpson stopped, planted two feet on the turf and did a 360 flip into the end zone. Really, the score should have been worth at least 10 points...

L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant is desperate to reconcile with estranged wife Vanessa Bryant, sources say. Whether she gives him the time of day or not is another story.

Vanessa filed for divorce from Kobe last weekend, but people close to the family say his two daughters, ages 8 and 5, are playing a major role in his bid to reconcile.

Kobe is said to be "deeply depressed" over the situation and is very concerned about how his little girls will handle growing up in two separate households.

The Nipples of Vanessa Bryant

Sounds nice and all, but Vanessa Bryant decided to pull the plug on the union after catching the NBA star in an extramarital affair, and it wasn't the first time.

Some have accused Vanessa of being a gold-digger, but they were married for 10 years - before Kobe was obscenely rich - and she stood by him in 2003.

That was when he was accused of raping a girl he cheated with. They toughed it out through that, but his current affair was apparently the last straw.

Bryant's family was unaware of Kobe's efforts but they hope he and Vanessa can find a way to get along in the future if only for the sake of the kids.
