There is currently no law that says you have to hand over a foul to a nearby toddler who was also reaching for it and cries as a result ... but come on, guys.

At the Rangers-Yankees game Wednesday night, a couple was so stoked to have caught one, they not only didn't give the thing up, they openly celebrated and preened for the cameras with the ball as the youngster bawled nearby:

This earned them a tongue-lashing from Yankee broadcaster Michael Kay, and landed the three-year-old and his parents on Good Morning America (above).

Luckily for our little buddy, the Rangers are giving him a ball signed by the ENTIRE TEAM. Class move by Texas and not a bad consolation prize for the kid.

Sean Leonard and Shannon Moore, on the other hand, have been castigated by the media - and want an apology from Kay, who led the charge.

Delmon Young, the starting left fielder for the Detroit Tigers, was arrested this morning outside a midtown Manhattan hotel after the former first round draft pick allegedly got into a fight with a panhandler wearing a yarmulke.

Police told The New York Post that Young starting screaming at the homeless man upon being approached for change, shouting ""F--king Jews! F--king Jews!"

The incident took place around 2:40 a.m. and Young proceeded to get into a physical altercation with men who confronted him about his tirade. He scratched one on the arm and pushed another to the pavement.

Sources say hotel employees rushed to the scene, sent all parties to their rooms and called 911. They added that Young appeared "highly intoxicated" before he was arrested and taken to the Midtown North Precinct.

Young, who has just one home run this season, is in town because the Tigers are scheduled to face the Yankees tonight.

A couple years ago, during a game against the Pawtucket Red Sox, the problematic outfielder threw a bat at an umpire.

This is very sad but true: Kris Jenner had a better year than Lamar Odom.

The matriarch of the richest family on reality TV just negotiated a new $40 million deal for her children... while a listless Odom averaged a career low in points and rebounds and was cut by the Mavs.

So we suppose it's not too shocking that Jenner thinks she can offer her son-in-law professional advice which, according to a Hollywood Life insider, goes like this: forget the NBA. Focus on E!.

Lamar Odom in Action

“Kris is eager for Khloe and Lamar to do another season of their reality show," this Kardashian source claims, but:

"[Khloe] doesn’t want to push Lamar into doing anything he doesn’t want to do because she knows it will only backfire. Kris thinks doing another season will help their relationship, but the real reason she wants them to do another season of Khloe & Lamar is because she thinks the show keeps them relevant."

The Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett interrupted a live broadcast before Tuesday night's game against the Miami Heat, creeping menacingly behind a pair of reporters.

The gregarious seven-foot forward did not play in the game, during which both teams largely sat their stars in preparation for the upcoming NBA playoffs.

That probably explains the comedic moment from the future Hall of Famer, who's normally in such an intense zone before games that it borders on scary.

This was still a little scary, but you get the point. Watch KG insert himself into the pregame chatter and see the reaction be receives from the announcers ...

We're very sorry, Detroit Lions fans. But Calvin Johnson will suffer a debilitating injury any day now.

Indeed, the superstar wideout known as "Megatron" was voted by fans as the new cover star for wildly popular video game Madden '13, knocking off Carolina quarterback Cam Newton in the finals, despite Newton's funny appeal to sports fans.

It's been years, however, since the football player who appeared on this cover actually went on to enjoy a successful season.

"Man, it's great," Johnson said upon being named the winner, shaking off any notion of a cover jinx. "Just to see yourself on this Madden [cover] and seeing all the guys that have been on Madden? C'mon, man."

Over 20 million fans voted in the contest, with with Johnson beating out Dwayne Bowe, Arian Foster, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Rodgers on his way to the championship.

Watching this guy take batting practice is a sight to behold.

A more than likely fake sight, but nevertheless, very cool!

Watch as he sets up a series of nets so that after hitting one ball, it ricochets back and lets him take another cut, which he ropes into the same spot, and so on. Add in another ball or two and you've got one impressive display of hitting. Or at least viral video fun.

The shortstop would catch all these easily in real life. Just saying.

Justin Bethel, a defensive back from Presbyterian College and NFL draft hopeful, may never make it to the pros - but at least he's made an awesome viral video.

Prepping for workouts he hopes will earn him a spot on an NFL team next fall, the football star was caught on video jumping onto boxes five feet into the air.

That's a vertical leap of 60 inches. Yes, six-zero.

Bethel is a pretty legit player, too. He was named Big South Defensive Player of the Year, recording 87 total tackles with 3.5 tackles for a loss, one sack, a forced fumble, three blocked kicks, four interceptions and a punt return touchdown.

Athletic, competitive and versatile, while possessing strong character, motivation, intelligence and work ethic, some scouts say he could be a draft sleeper.

Here's hoping, if only for more clips like this.

Deion Sanders' contentious divorce took an ugly, surprising turn as he posted a photo on Twitter of his sons filing police reports against their mother, Pilar.

The photo below was tweeted by Sanders 14 minutes after he posted two messages on his Twitter timeline, asking fans to "pray for" himself and the kids.

He captioned the pic with the message, "filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth." Or exploit children for sympathy:

Deion Sanders, Kids

Police were seen outside Sanders' house Monday and an unidentified person was in handcuffs. Pilar was also admitted to a hospital for "a medical problem."

Last month, Pilar Sanders filed a $200 million defamation lawsuit against Deion.

His estranged wife was responding to a tweet from Deion's daughter from his previous marriage, Deiondra, which said Pilar was a "gold-digging [expletive]."

Deion later explained that the statement couldn't be defamation because it's true.

The NFL Hall of Famer filed for divorce last year and the story has been a celebrity gossip staple ever since ... it's so bad that Deion uses his kids against their mother to win public sympathy, says he's the victim and might even be right.

This week on Khloe & Lamar, the tandem took a brief hiatus from having emotional talks about babies to get all emotional about Odom's return to L.A.

"I got a game coming up versus the L.A. Lakers, my former team," he says of his first game back. "It's going to be a little weird playing against them."

How did Lamar do against Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace & Co.? It almost didn't matter, given the warm reception he was given at Staples Center.

What else went down in Tinseltown? On to Sunday's recap!

Lamar Odom and Kobe Bryant

Khloe Kardashian feels tense once they're back in their home and reality starts to sink in, saying, "I can't really imagine how that feels and the pressure." It doesn't compare to the paparazzi following you to the Ivy, no. Plus 20.

Lamar's BFF Jamie Sangouthai is feeling the effects of Odom's trade to Dallas, too. "I feel like I got traded too, but I'm still here," he tells Lamar. "I don't get the VIP treatment anymore." Dude, way to make it about you. Minus 50.

"He didn't even say 'How are you?' or 'How you're doing?' or 'Are you OK?' I'm the one who had to get up and move and go play for a different team." - Lamar to Khloe. Plus 10 for noticing and calling out that nonsense.

Metta World Peace did not live up to his name last night.

In a move reminiscent of the old Ron Artest, the Lakers forward was celebrating after a dunk on Sunday night when he inexplicably threw a BRUTAL elbow into the back of the head of Oklahoma City's James Harden, giving him a concussion.

Watch the baffling and frightening flagrant foul below:

The volatile forward, who was playing some of his best basketball in April, was ejected and faces a certain suspension. The only question is how severe.

After the game, Metta World Peace, who had gone out of his way to rid himself of a nasty reputation in the past few years, apologized to James Harden.

"I got real emotional and excited, and it was unfortunate that James had to get hit with the unintentional elbow," said World Peace. "I hope he's OK."

"Oklahoma City, they're playing for a championship this year. I profusely apologize to the Thunder and James Harden. It was just unfortunate."

ABC analyst Magic Johnson called it "a cheap shot" but Peace said it was not, despite being whistled for a flagrant foul afterward. Do you agree?
