Bob Knight has nothing on Mike Rice.

Footage has surfaced of the Rutgers Men's Basketball Coach heaving basketballs at his players' heads in practice... kicking them when they're down... hurling gay epithets at them and generally acting like a complete lunatic.

Rice was suspended by Rutgers and fined $50,000 in December after Athletic Director Tim Pernetti witnessed the behavior depicted below.

But he somehow remains employed by the school, and it gets worse: former director of player development Eric Murdock was dismissed last July after reporting these actions to his superiors.

Watch Rice in ugly, ugly action now:

UPDATE: Rice has been fired.

Lindsey Vonn certainly has a sense of humor about things.

Appearing at the Vail Celebration of Champions, the injured ski champ held a meet-and-greet with fans when she was asked what she does in her spare time.

Lindsey Vonn: HOT

Per Colorado's 9News, as Vonn was answering that she likes to hang out with friends and family, someone in the crowd yelled out, "What about Tiger?"

"OK, guys, I play golf, OK?!" she replied with a laugh.

Since confirming that they're dating, Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods have both been candid about things, and the couple seems to be truly happy.

They're good sports ... and good at sports. As to why the two famously private stars went public with their relationship? We'll let Tiger explain that:

WARNING: The following photo is not for the faint of heart.

On Sunday, Louisville guard Kevin Ware suffered a compound fracture of the tibia and fibia when he fell awkwardly after attempting to block a shot in his team's Elite 8 game against Duke.

Video of the gruesome injury went viral, as Ware was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery that night.

He has since left and is expected to join his teammates this weekend in Atlanta... which is astounding, considering the horrific nature of the injury. We've posted a close-up photo of the break below:

As a member of the Yankees, Robinson Cano has been in a New York State of mind since his breakout rookie season of 2006.

But the All-Star second baseman took that to a new level today, dropping uber agent Scott Boras and becoming the first athlete to sign up with Roc Nation Sports, an agency headed by Jay-Z.

"At this point in my career, I am ready to take a more active role in my endeavors on and off the field," Cano said in a statement.

"I am confident that the pairing of Roc Nation Sports and CAA Sports will be essential in helping me accomplish my short and long-term goals. I am making this important decision now so I can keep my focus on helping the Yankees succeed in 2013, while minimizing any distractions for me and my teammates."

Robert Griffin III (or RG3 for short) is normally Mr. Cool, a guy who plays it close to the vest ... but don't get him started on fellow Baylor star Brittney Griner.

The Washington Redskins QB couldn't help himself when he saw the beating taken by Griner, his friend and former schoolmate, in the NCAA Tournament.

Robert Griffin III and Brittney Griner

The 6'8" Brittney Griner is one of the best female players ever, and took a pounding in the Lady Bears' loss to Louisville in the regional semifinals.

Peter Sagan finished second at the Tour of Flanders over the weekend.

But the Slovakian cyclist has made far more headlines than winner Fabian Cancellara, thanks to his actions after the race.

As plainly seen here, the 23-year old had a bit of fun with the cameramen and one of the podium girls during the medal ceremony, getting a light squeeze in that was not met with a positive response from many who saw it.
