Yes, South Park Season 18 Episode 8 was titled "Cock Magic." But let's get this out of the way because we're a family site and all:

The cock in question referred to chickens, not... you know.

Then again, there was plenty of talk about penises as well on the Comedy Central smash, so read on at your own risk basically.

This South Park episode was less a commentary on some pressing social issue and more an example of creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone pretty much just going crazy. In the most amazing of ways.

The three main topics covered were cockfighting, Magic: The Gathering, and, well, penis magic shows.

Even by its lofty standards, South Park Season 18 Episode 7 was a pretty absurd installment, centered mostly around Butters and his perception of reality.

More specifically, Butters' belief that he is residing in an alternate reality.

How did that all turn out for the kid? Well, you can probably guess ...

Butters channeled his inner Sarah Palin and went rogue.

No, not by fighting a group of people at a house party, as Sarah recently did. Actually, the kid came pretty close, turning the town of South Park upside down.

Trying to figure out what is real and what is fake - which can be a challenging and confusing endeavor, as you know if you've seen Inception - was his goal.

Did he succeed? Or did he simply entertain the others?

South Park has delved into the world of consoles and video games on plenty of occasions.

However, South Park Season 18 Episode 6 put a different twist on this general storyline by focusing on “freemium” games, along with the concept of addiction.

South Park Person

Unfamiliar with freemium? You aren’t alone, as the episode took awhile to get going because the Minister of Mobile Gaming kept explaining to Terrance and Phillip just how these games work.

Stan, meanwhile, became addicted to the freemium app created by these two, as Randy lectured Stan and Stan's grandfather on the dangers of addiction.

These scenes provided us with Randy's beer and wine tasting (“I’m having six. It’s called a tasting, and it’s classy!”) and some more Lorde references.

Following a focus on Nathan and Mimsy last week, South Park Season 18 Episode 5 brought Cartman and Butters very much back into the hilarious spotlight on Wednesday evening.

It also expertly combined such current topics as Ferguson, drones and The Fappening.

In other words: classic South Park all around.

The two friends fought this week over the Stotch family drone, which Cartman pressured Butters into using to spy on the neighborhood… especially Craig’s mom’s very hairy bush, which Cartman described as Yeti-like.

There wasn’t any major commentary here on the controversial topic of drones, with the general message being sent that they aren’t ideal for spying on people. No d'uh!

Viewers were taken for a ride on South Park Season 18 Season 4.

Literally, that is, as the latest installment of this Comedy Central hit focused on the quasi controversy of how servies such as Uber and Lyft are upsetting the nation's taxi industry.

The episode was set in autumn, with young South Park residents raising money for summer camp.

Timmy came up with the idea of carting people around in a wagon attached to his electric wheelchair, dubbing the business “Handicar” and watching as it exploded overnight.

Enter Nathan and Mimsy, who many viewers may not remember from Season 14.

South Park brought the funny and also the profound, in a way, on South Park Season 18 Episode 3.

We started with Cartman putting a pink bow on his head telling the principal that he’s a “trans-ginger.” See, he’s really a girl, though he “lives a life of torture and confusion because society sees him as a boy.”

When he makes girls feel uncomfortable in their own bathroom, Principal Victoria has no choice but to clear out the janitor’s closet and gives Cartman his own bathroom.

He proceeds to deck it out with string lights, lace, and a Clapper, totally going Fifty Shades of Grey up on in it.

The following day, Wendy arrives at school dressed in a jean vest, hair cut short and her name changed to "Wendell."

Principal Victoria tells Cartman (now going by “Erica") that he must share the bathroom with Wendell. You can imagine his reaction to this news, can't you?

There's rarely any carry over on South Park, but South Season 18 Episode 2 made a brief reference to the terrific premiere when the school called out the boys n their “F-ck you!" campaign.

Butters also apparently set the gym on fire and was therefore absent from the half hour, teasing a possible storyline for next Wednesday.

As for THIS Wednesday?

We’ve all come across someone like Mr. Mackey, haven’t we? Someone who annoying talks about the "amazingness" of a gluten-free diet and who, unprompted, talks up gluten-free recipes?

So the storyline hit home, but it was surprisingly past its prime relevancy date for South Park, a series that prides itself on delivering up-to-the-nanosecond jokes and references.

There was bad news on South Park Season 18 Episode 1:

When Cartman and his friends tried to launch a start-up company, the name "Boner Forest" was already trademarked.

Fortunately, they were able to snare the moniker "Washington Redskins," which was perfect because Cartman said the mission statement for his business was finding “new and exciting ways to tell people to go f—k themselves."

Hmmmm. We wonder if this was a shot at the actual controversy of the name Redskins and how owner Daniel Snyder's refusal to change it in the face of public outcry.

A fictional version of Snyder was none too happy about the start-up, as South Park depicted him pleading with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell  to intervene and do something about this besmirching.

There were a lot of interesting moments at Comic Con 2014, held this past weekend in San Diego. We're sure for many fans, just the opportunity to get the first glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman was worth the price of admission.

But while Gadot's hotness reigned supreme at the Batman vs. Superman panel, it was surely Game of Thrones mastermind George R.R. Martin who provided the bulk of this year's highlights.

First, the George R.R. Martin Khaleesi photo took the Internet by storm and proved and that the man responsible for Theon Greyjoy having his peen lopped off has a sense of humor after all.

Speaking of wangs, it got even better from there. Check out this interview that Martin gave on the red carpet:

Yes, the revered author responsible for one of the most popular literary works of our time thinks it's important that you know he prefers boobies to weenies.

It was a season that mocked Kim Kardashian and George Zimmerman.

It also parodied the craziness that sweeps the nation every year on Black Friday, while bringing religious leaders to Colorado and bringing viewers close to a taping of Yo Gabba Gabba.

Yes, it was another crazy couple months of the most irreverent show on television, with no one in pop culture safe from mockery.
