We know you're sick of counting bodies in Charming, Unser.

But Sons of Anarchy Season 7 Episode 2 continued to drive the point home: you can't exactly put away your abacus away just yet.

No member of SAMCRO has been killed off just yet, but the actions of Jax and company have now placed them down a precarious path.

As part of their plan to tear down Lin this week, they asked for help from the charter led by Jury. He recommended a couple of freelancer killers to help with a ganking of Lin's gun delivery and, after it was completed, Jax, Bobbyand Chibs paid these two young men a visit.

They shot them dead, in order to cover their tracks, and this plot for revenge seemed to be running along smoothly. Except there was one major problem we learned at the end of the installment:

Sons of Anarchy is off and running killing... and setting series ratings record.

According to an FX press release, the Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premiere drew 6.2 million total viewers, along with a 3.2 rating among adults 18-49, both high water marks for the Kurt Sutter-produced drama.

Jax on SOA

The extra long episode mostly centered on Jax's thirst for vengeance, as he's now out of prison and focused on taking down those responsible for his wife's murder on the Season 6 finale.

From the outset of the Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premiere, it became very apparent:

Tara Knowles wasn't the only person who was killed at the conclusion of Season 6. The Jax Teller who cared about club reform was wiped away as well.

We opened "Black Widower" and closed "Black Widower" on the same frightening image of Jax covered in blood, as he at first struck a deal with white supremacists in prison and then sought (violent) revenge on the man he believed murdered his wife.

And those consistent scenes served as a theme throughout the lengthy premiere: Jax is no longer a man with any sort of agenda... outside of vengeance.

Take SAMCRO down a clean path? Get away from guns? Get out entirely? Those ideas are so last year.

So... who's with me?

FX has come out with the first trailer for Sons of Anarchy Season 7 and it features Jax asking this question of his club, as they bear witness to a President who admits he no longer as a "vision."

Unless that vision is revenge-based.

The following footage features a numb Jax Teller, one who cares about nothing in the wake of his wife's murder except the future of SAMCRO. We also see a petrified Juice and a Gemma who is desperate to keep the truth from her son.

Sons of Anarchy revs up for its final season on Tuesday, September 9 at 10/9c with a special 90-minute premiere.

According to an FX press release, Jax will be in jail for a parole violation when we next see him, mourning the mother of his children and interacting with Marlyn Manson as a fellow convict.

He'll also be looking to set in motion “brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution."

In a word: GULP! In another words: AWESOME!

Courtney Love is dusting off her acting shoes.

The former Golden Globe nominee (for The People vs. Larry Flynt) will appear on multiple episodes of Sons of Anarchy Season 7, TV Line confirmed this afternoon.

Look for the singer to portray Abel's preschool teacher ont he FX drama, someone who takes a keen interest in Jax's oldest son, promoting an unexpected reaction from Wendy in the process.

Courtney Love on the Red Carpet

This isn’t the first time a musician has nabbed a role on Sons of Anarchy.

Henry Rollins played a skinhead on Season 2; Dave Navarro recurred as a gang member on Seasons 5 and 6; and Marilyn Manson will on Season 7 as a prison power player who has dealings with Jax.

The series revs up this September and you can watch Sons of Anarchy online via TV Fanatic to catch up at any time.

Marilyn Manson on Sons of Anarchy? Seems like a perfect match, doesn't it?

FX confirmed today that the scary rocker will recur on the final season of that cable smash as a white supremacist in prison.

Look for him to get close to Charlie Hunnam's Jax Teller in order to expand his power behind bars.

Manson is set to release a new album and kick off a new tour and he apparently lobbied SOA creator Kurt Sutter for the role.

"Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's,” said Manson in a statement. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema.  After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."

Sons of Anarchy Season 6 Episode 13, the FX hit's 2013 finale, marked perhaps the show's most emotional, darkest and shocking moment in six years.

We won't go into why now, but it was some installment.

As Sons of Anarchy Season 6 Episode 13 began, the Mayans took action as a result of imbalance of power that SAMCRO backing out of guns has caused.

As they try to pull Nero back in, he considers getting out of the life, but Gemma flips out. Meanwhile, Tara meets with her attorney but is soon tracked down.

What happens from there on in the season finale everybody's talking about? We will say no more, and leave that up to you do find out right here and now.

Tuesday night's Sons of Anarchy Season 6 Episode 12 was a heart-stopper.

On the penultimate episode of the sixth season of the FX hit, Jax continued to instill mayhem as Juice spiraled out of control and eventually offered a confession.

Tara, meanwhile, looked like she was readying to drop a bombshell on her husband and leave the future of SAMCRO hanging in the balance. But would she?

You'll have to find out for yourself if you haven't seen it, or buckle your seatbelts for a second viewing of "You Are My Sunshine" now. Either way, it's worth it.
