Bravo has confirmed the addition of two more rich, obnoxious, talentless women on The Real Housewives of New York City.

On the upcoming new season of the reality hit, Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert will make frequent appearances. Each is currently listed as a "recurring" character, as opposed to a series regular.

Morgan, who was rumored to take over for Bethenny Frankel, is described by the network as: "A fixture of New York City society, running in social circles that include European royalty and top-notch designers... worked for multiple restaurants across the city as a consultant and manager and often brought in her famous friends to spice up these locales. 

A single mother of a nine-year-old daughter, Morgan loves art, decorating, gardening, skiing and visiting France every chance she gets – be it for her charity work or just for pleasure."

She sounds awesome. We guess.

As for Gilbert, she's a "busy career woman" who owns a corporate and social event planning company called Save the Date. Yet, she's not too busy to star on a reality show, apparently.

At 29, Gilbert was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. She has three children.

Filming on the new season is underway. It will premiere in early 2010.

While the world awaits the Bethenny Frankel nude PETA campaign, the Real Housewives of New York City star assures fans they won't need to wait much longer see her star in her very own program.

"The spinoff news is totally true," Frankel told Us Weekly, while also shooting down talk that Sonja Morgan would replace her on the Bravo series:

"Me being replaced after five episodes is totally false. I haven't started doing the spinoff show. I have started doing Housewives."

But what about Morgan, who does look to be coming aboard the series?

"If you do the math, they replaced someone on Atlanta, and on Orange County, they only have two of the originals. But I don't know anything that you don’t know. I would imagine that you don't have to be Angela Lansbury to figure out that eventually they may replace one of us."

To our readers under the age of 75: Angela Lansbury is best known for her role as an author/detective on the former drama Murder, She Wrote.

As for Frankel's reality show, "it will be just about my entire life," the socialite says, adding that boyfriend Jason Hoppy may be involved.

"If I know Bravo and if they know me, I just think it will be the truth, which is the balance between career and relationships and all things in between. If he is part of my life, he will be part of the show."

In related news: anyone that watches this program is in serious, serious need of a life.

This much we know for certain: Bethenny Frankel is getting her own reality show.

When the Real Housewife of New York City exits her current series is another matter entirely.

According to Life & Style, there's already a deal in place that will replace Frankel with fellow socialite Sonja Morgan. While the former will still be around, the latter is rumored to make her first appearance around episode five of the season.

"It was just signed yesterday," an insider told the tabloid. "It's not pretty between Bethenny and the other cast members in the episodes that they've already taped... the show is going to explode this season!"

Frankel, however, insists she isn't going anywhere. She Tweeted this week:

the rumors about me not being on housewives are false. you're stuck with me!!! I repeat:I'm on housewives for season 3!!

As usual, and as Bravo of course wants us to, we'll need to tune in and find out.
