Last night, Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points as the Denver Nuggets evened their series with the Los Angeles Lakers with a 106-103 win in Game Two.

It was a tough loss, but Kobe Bryant and the Lake Show remain the #1 game in town. Here's Tom Cruise and son Connor Cruise at last night's game:

While Los Angeles' pro baseball team has been making a strong case of late (check out our gallery of celebrity Dodger fans), L.A. Lakers games at Staples Center remain the hottest sports spot for celebrities from A-List to Spencer Pratt.

While Manny Ramirez serves a 50-game suspension for violating baseball's drug policy, the Los Angeles Dodgers are still comfortably in first place by 8.5 games in the N.L. West. Nevertheless, they are now lacking a bit in luster and buzz.

Fortunately, this being Los Angeles, it's fairly easy for them to ramp up the star power factor at Dodger Stadium, albeit only for the ceremonial first pitch.

Matthew McConaughey, Whitney Port, Snoop Dogg, Kim Kardashian & Krew and plenty of others have taken the hill recently, with more surely to follow.

With the amount of famous faces taking the still to start their games these days, L.A. could fill an entire lineup with celebrities. That lineup could probably beat the San Francisco Giants, too. Bengie Molina hits cleanup for them!

Not a good day in the life of Snoop Dogg.

As if the civil trial accusing the perpetually-high rapper and his posse of beating down a fan wasn't bad enough, the rapper was outed as a tax dodger by state officials, who confirmed that a lien had been put on his SoCal homebase.

Regarding the first issue, Richard Monroe Jr. filed suit against Snoop Dogg in April 2006 for assault, battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. His opening statement? Playing a video of the incident to jurors.

The Kent, Wash., native claims he sustained serious injuries after hopping onstage during the rapper's rendition of "Gin and Juice" during a 2005 gig in Seattle.

According to court documents, Monroe thought he had an "open invite" to join Snoop onstage, but he found himself tackled by the Dogg's bodyguards, along with other rappers, including The Game, Kurupt, Soopafly and Daz Dillinger.

Monroe says he was punched and kicked until he lost consciousness. Best of all, when he came to, his diamond earrings, watch and wallet were MIA.

He was treated at a local hospital and is seeking $22 million in damages.

Meanwhile, the California Franchise Tax Board claims Dogg, who is also known as Calvin Broadus Jr., hasn't been heeding the taxman lately, if ever.

Officials say he owes the state $284,053 in back taxes and has a lien on his home.

Come on, Snoop. Tax evasion? At least the first legal problem we wrote about in this article makes you sound semi-hard. DMX? Rolling in grave.

Back in the day, Snoop Dogg helped craft, enhance and define an entire genre of music as a hard core gangsta rap artist and larger-than-life persona.

As the years go by, however, his street cred softens considerably. His style used to be real ... now he keeps it about as real as Heidi Montag's boobs.

The guy will collaborate with anyone or appear on anything for the almighty dollar (albeit with occasional drug arrests mixed in for old times' sake).

That's just how he rolls! Case in point: Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag chilled with a sharp-dressed Snoop during a visit to the rapper's new MTV variety talk show, called Dogg After Dark (yes, really) at Hollywood club The Kress...

The program - which will feature celebrity guests and musical performances (we can only hope for a live performance by Heidi) - premieres February 17.

The Lakers are the hottest ticket in L.A. - at least when the happen to be playing the World Champions. Yesterday, the heated Lakers-Boston Celtics rivalry resumed and numerous stars ventured to the Staples Center to take in the action.

For instance, here's Snoop Dogg, wife Shante Broadus and Boston's own Dane Cook cheering on their respective teams. Yeah, we know, it's no Zanessa ...

Snoop Dogg has rubbed off on his wife, apparently.

And we don't mean that in the semi-dirty way it was written.

The Doggfather's wife, Shante Broadus, was arrested at 12:15 this morning in Fullerton, Calif., for driving under the influence. Nice!

Shortly after her DUI arrest and booking photo, Shante Broadus was released with a citation - there's no bail needed for DUIs in Fullerton.

Snoop and Shante are high school sweethearts and quasi-reality TV stars. They have three children. Wonder if Snoop is proud or disappointed to have his spouse join him in the illustrious celebrity mug shot club?

Kim Kardashian wasn't the only celebrity to appear at Wrestlemania XXIV last night.

The one and only Snoop Dogg chilled at ringside for the WWE Diva lumberjack tag team match during the event. (Please don't make us explain what that means; basically, women in scantily clad attire jumped on each other a lot inside the ring.)

After the team of Melina and Beth Phoenix defeated the team of Ashley Massaro and Maria Kanellis, Snoop sprung into action. As depicted below, he clotheslined Maria's ex-boyfriend, Santino Marella, earning the prize of the night for his efforts:

As previously reported, the natural pairing of One Life to Live and rapper Snoop Dogg is set to come true. We now have more details on the guest-starring stint:

The Dogg will make what is being billed as "an extended cameo" on One Life to Live on May 8 and 9. Not only will Snoop perform (at Ultra Violet) a pair of songs from his new album, Ego Trippin', but the two episodes will feature a Dogg-licked mix of show's theme song.

"I've been a fan of One Life to Live since I was a baby," said Snoop. "My momma always had it on the tube in the crib growing up. The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the life of the party."

Really, who can argue with that?
