Actor Shia LaBeouf's new leading lady – both on and off screen - is rumored to be Carey Mulligan, 24, a redhead who hails from the great nation of England.

Carey was seen cuddling and kissing the Transformers star in NYC, where the two have been filming Oliver Stone's Wall Street sequel, Money Never Sleeps.

"They seemed very, very happy," says an onlooker of the pair, who were seen dining together. "They were talking, laughing, smiling and seemed very close."

Is Carey Mulligan dating Shia LaBeouf? Does anyone care? "We don't know for sure" is the answer to both questions, but she seems nice looking, don't you think?

As her big break, Mulligan landed the role of Kitty Bennet in Pride & Prejudice alongside star Keira Knightley with the help of her school headmistress.

She credits Keira Knightley as her acting coach: "I was a real tomboy until was 15 – I didn't have my first kiss until a month away from 16," she said.

We're guessing she has plenty coming her way now.

Thanks to a $201 million haul for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf were on top of the box office this weekend.

But were the co-stars also on top of one another?!?

According to The New York Daily News, the actors sat next to each other during a dinner with 10 friends, including director Oliver Stone, at Nobu on Thursday. But that wasn't all!

“They definitely seemed into each other,” said a witness, who added that LaBeouf followed Fox out the door around 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, another spy said the pair partied together in West Hollywood earlier in the week and “Shia couldn’t keep his eyes off of Megan: He literally watched her like a hawk all night.”

Don't worry, Shia LaBeouf didn't get into another car accident.

Instead, the Transformers 2 star was simply photographed on set last week following a scene that left him battered and bloodied.

But still incredibly good looking, of course.

The star of Transformers, Shia LaBeouf may soon be undergoing a personal transformation.

According to celebrity gossip tabloid Star, doctors have told the actor they may have to amputate one of his injured fingers. That'll teach him to drink and drive!

LaBeouf, who is in the process of filing the Transformers sequel,is likely to lose the pinky on his left hand, a source on the movie set told the magazine.

"Shia called producers yesterday and told them," the source on the set in Alamogordo, N.M. says. "It's really thrown the movie into turmoil."

Shia mangled his hand when his car rolled over twice in a July 27 accident in West Hollywood. He was cited for DUI.

Shia LaBeouf may have a drinking problem. But the Transformers star doesn't have any issues with cuteness!

Disney star Selena Gomez went on The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet this morning and said the young actor was the love of her life. Sort of.

"Right now, my crush is Shia LaBeouf!" she said. "He is cute and a great actor."

Selena Gomez is totally crushing on Shia LaBeouf.

Shia LaBeouf was cleared of blame for an early-morning crash Sunday in Los Angeles, Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said in a statement.

"The other car ran a red light and, if not already, will be cited," Whitmore says.

"They will be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault."

The Transformers star was cited with a misdemeanor DUI and no changes will be added to that, the police say.

Shia LaBeouf, 22, was arrested after the collision around 3 a.m. Sunday.

L.A. County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Wolf said the actor "showed outward signs of intoxication." He had been at West Hollywood's Troubadour club before the crash.

His Transformers co-star, Isabel Lucas, 23, was a passenger in his truck when the accident occurred, a source said.

She was not seriously injured, but Shia LaBeouf's rep said the the actor is "currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month."

Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested for DUI after being involved in an early morning car accident in Hollywood on Sunday.

LaBeouf was driving when his car was involved in a collision around 3 a.m. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Scott Wolf:

"It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that Mr. LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest."

The Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star was booked on charges of misdemeanor DUI and then released.

He was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. for injuries he sustained to his head, left hand and knee.

The passenger riding with Shia LaBeouf and the driver of the other car involved in the crash weren't seriously hurt.

LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn when the accident happened and his car rolled over. A rep for the actor had no comment.

A witness heard a loud crash around 245 a.m., then the sound of Shia's truck rolling over. When he got down to scene, Shia LaBeouf was already out of the car and the female riding with him was crawling out of the drivers side of the truck.

The truck was smoking, making noise and still running. The driver of the other car was also out of the car by this time.
