Well, what do you know? Not only did Shauna Sand green light the sex tape she was originally fighting (or claimed to be fighting, she'll be doing PR for it now too.

It's almost as if the Shauna Sand sex tape was planned all along, with its nasty star having full knowledge of its release and every intention of profiting from it.

A press release Vivid Entertainment sent reads as such: SHAUNA SAND-LAMAS, STAR OF VIVID'S SHAUNA SAND EXPOSED, NOW AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEWS.

What is there to ask? Who came up with the idea for you to make this trash and then pretend to be pissed about it, then "come on board" to do press for it?

WHAT: Shauna took control of distribution of her sex tape, is cooperating with Vivid in the release of Shauna Sand Exposed and is prepared to talk about the tape in detail, why she dropped her lawsuit against Vivid and her plans for the future.

Hmm. Hard to believe Shauna would be so cooperative in promoting tape she threatened to sue over. Oh that's right, she was only fake-suing to block it.

After all, it's not that hard for handwriting expert to read the name "Shauna Sand" on a form and put two and two together. Just saying. You've been had.

A day after giving the thumbs up to her filthy, revolting sex tape, Shauna Sand finds herself under attack. Only not from any copyright lawyers this time.

The woman looking to tear her apart is none other than her ex-stepdaughter.

Shayne Lamas, Lorenzo Lamas' daughter from a previous marriage, is not pleased that about the Shauna Sand sex tape, or the stunt pulled around it.

You could argue that Shayne is pissed because Shauna's tape is taking publicity away from the new show Leave it to Lamas, but it's probably helping.

Shauna and Lorenzo have three young children from their marriage, which lasted between 1996-2002. No doubt this sets a great example for them.

Shayne Lamas is calling out Shauna Sand. Someone had to.

To that end, Shayne Lamas told TMZ the following:

"It's no shock that Shauna basically gave her seal of approval on the tape. She will probably try to get producing and directing credit as well."

"I hear it's pretty hardcore and she does all her own stunts too!"

"There has never really been much of a difference between Shauna and a blowup doll... Cheap, mostly plastic and a head full of air. She is pure trash."

Well said, Shayne. Boy, the truth stings there. Even more so than some of the diseases Shauna likely gave her co-star in the "leaked" tape. Ick.

It's official. Nothing can stop the Shauna Sand sex tape now.

The 97-percent plastic Playboy model has withdrawn a legal challenge claiming the tape of her and some boyfriend fornicating was released against her will.

She withdrew it after Steven Hirsh, co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, brought in a handwriting expert to prove Shauna had in fact signed off on the tape.

Wouldn't you know it, she had. All 12 people clamoring for the Shauna Sand sex tape can celebrate the fact that it's release will not be delayed any longer.

After meeting with her on Thursday, Hirsh said the ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas has withdrawn the cease and desist letter her lawyer she sent Vivid this month.

Hirsh says Shauna's reason for withdrawing her challenge to the filthy, unappealing tape's release was because the lawsuit could prove "long and expensive."

Mmm. Sure.

Or because it was just a token threat to make it look like she didn't plan this desperate, nasty plea for attention all along. Yup, we're gonna go with that.

Shauna Sand has pulled out of a legal battle involving her sex tape. The guy co-starring in said tape is doing nothing of the sort, if you know what we mean!

The freak nasty sex tape starring former Playboy model Shauna Sand is being delayed a week pending an analysis of whether she actually authorized its release.

Despite the fact that the Shauna Sand sex tape was obviously made on purpose and hilariously staged, she fired off a cease and desist letter to Vivid last week.

Vivid, which announced the tape is set for release last week, says they've got a release from Sand green-lighting it but will wait to establish that it is authentic.

A handwriting expert has been called in to do find out if Shauna inked the dotted line. How much analysis this is really going to take, who knows. We'll find out.

We can't wait to see Shauna Sand's sex tape with Romain Chavent. Actually, wait, we totally can. Shauna Sand is even less attractive than seedy strip club girls.

Apparently A.J. Lamas is one of few guys who hasn't banged Shauna Sand.

The Playboy model claims she's not a notch on her stepson's bedpost, despite  a horrible rumor that her ex-husband's reality show may be trying to perpetuate.

Sand claims the pilot of Leave it to Lamas was based on a "lie" that she had sex with A.J. Lamas, Lorenzo's son. Shauna is, like, totally hurt by the accusation.

Because, after all, it would totally sour her pristine reputation if true. Says the star of the hilariously staged, graphic PR stunt that is the Shauna Sand sex tape.

In any case, Shauna says it never happened, and released this statement:

"It turned out the whole first episode of Leave it to Lamas revolved around a lie that the Lamas family concocted about me sleeping with my step-son A.J."

The skanky Sand continued: "This story is absolutely untrue and I'm absolutely sick of being used and ridiculed by this family for the benefit of their show."

She's cool with using the debut of their show to generate buzz for her nasty video, though. When Shayne Lamas sees through your act, you've got issues.

Yesterday, we reported that Vivid is putting out a Shauna Sand sex tape, but that Shauna is lawyering up, claiming they don't have permission to release it.

She admits it is just one of many sex tapes she has made with her current boyfriend, who we're pretty sure is Romain Chavent. Vivid says it's got the rights.

"We were approached by a third party with the footage" and are "comfortable with our legal position releasing the footage," the entertainment company stated.

Shauna's own stepdaughter, Shayne Lamas, called her out on this obvious PR stunt, the likes of which we have seen and reported on countless times before.

Anyone can see the footage from this "private" Shauna Sand video is of superior quality than some movies and TV shows, and the still photos are airbrushed.

As the old adage goes, if a camera crew films you from multiple angles and you stare blankly at their lenses, as if the guy isn't even there, is it even a sex tape?

In any case, we're pretty sure that soon enough, we'll be asked to remove the pictures because we are violating her right to privacy or some such nonsense.

It's a flimsy legal claim, as she clearly wants us to see her getting violated in an entirely different way, but we'll comply because it's not worth the legal fees.

Don't ask us who wants to see this anyway. It's Shauna Sand. You can do better. Seriously. Think Heidi Montag, but like 15 years (and plastic surgeries) later.

Vivid Entertainment has acquired the Shauna Sand sex tape, featuring the former Playboy model and her Miami boyfriend, and plans to release it October 19.

But not without a fake, publicity-generating fight from Shauna.

"Yes I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year," Sand told TMZ. "In fact I've made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn't sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now."

Vivid founder Steven Hirsch says he's legally entitled to released the boning.

"We were approached by a third party, who brought us footage of Shauna Sand having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it ... We're comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage."

It was not specified who is nailing Shauna on the alleged tape, but she has been dating - and occasionally married to - Romain Chavent. For awhile, too.

Shauna Sand is the father of three of Lorenzo Lamas' six kids, but not A.J. Lamas or The Bachelor winner Shayne Lamas, whose mom is Michele Smith.

Sand married him in 1996 and became the fourth ex-Mrs. Lamas in 2002.

If the following story is true, that's nothing compared to the soap opera that played out in his real life. Star says the actor left his fourth wife, Playboy model Shauna Sand, when he discovered her affair with A.J. Lamas, his then-18-year-old son.

That would be even weirder than Morgan Freeman and E'Dena Hines.

According to a pal, the secret romance carried on for months in 2002.

"He thought Shauna was acting like a mom to A.J.," a friend of Lorenzo Lamas said of the scandalous affair. "He had no clue that she was his son's lover!"

Rumor has it the public will get a chance to see his reaction to the likely made up scandal on the new reality show that the Lamas family is currently filming for E!

That show will star A.J.'s sister, The Bachelor skank winner Shayne Lamas.

Whether this is true or not, Sand pursuing younger men is nothing new. The 37-year-old party girl is currently dating twentysomething Gregory Knudsen, and is estranged from interim husband Romain Chavent, also in his twenties.

Romain Chavent - Playboy dinosaur Shauna Sand's almost ex husband - has just been arrested for allegedly assaulting his on-again, off-again wife.

According to TMZ, Romain was busted Monday morning after an argument with Shauna Sand allegedly got physical. When L.A. law enforcement officials arrived, Sand had bite marks on her body and claimed Romain had pushed her around.

The one-time stepmom of Shayne Lamas is reportedly doing okay. Chavent was arrested on a felony domestic violence charge and held on $50,000 bail.

Romain Chavent and Shauna Sand are married for some reason.

Shauna says this is a pattern, as Romain choked, punched and threw her across the room, injuring her fake boobs - in front of her kids no less - back in December.

Throw in a death threat and you've got the full Chris Brown treatment.
