Eddie Cibrian is suing a tabloid for $1 million for allegedly defaming him.

That alone didn't pique our interest. But the interesting part of his celebrity gossip lawsuit is that he's doing over accusations of cheating ... on LeAnn Rimes.

Cibrian claims that stories Life & Style recently published "falsely portray Eddie as being unfaithful to Ms. Rimes, as currently being in a romantic relationship with Ms. Jancan, and as having abandoned his children."

Ms. Jancan is Scheana Jancan, also known as Scheana Marie Jancan, is an aspiring actress and according to the mag she and Eddie were hooking up.

The title of the article: "Eddie is Cheating on LeAnn Already."

Eddie Cibrian denies any affair with Scheana Jancan... well, lately.

That may very well be untrue, but the hidden subtext here is that he's not suing for defamation over any story regarding his cheating with LeAnn.

That is, cheating on wife Brandi Glanville with the country star earlier this year. One report even suggested she left him over his affairs. Plural.

Affairs with Rimes and Scheana Jancan. Shady. Just saying.

Brandi Glanville has left husband Eddie Cibrian, with whom she has two kids, Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. She has confirmed this, as well as the reason why.

"Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart," says Glanville. "I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other."

This is the first public admission that the long-rumored romance even happened - and it comes from her? So much for his affair being a publicity stunt.

In June, Glanville publicly told Rimes to quit stalking her husband. LeAnn denied the stalking, the affair and indignantly accused Brandi of defaming her.

But the affair was clearly taking place.

Amazingly, the final straw for Brandi Glanville came after lovers Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes were caught sneaking around together - last week!

Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian have married eight years.

The pair was spotted together in the early afternoon on Friday - four months after news of their affair first broke - outside the Malibu home of Jeff Berger, a longtime friend of the country singer and her husband, Dean Sheremet.

Sources say Berger has been facilitating meetings between Leann and Eddie at his home for about a month and that Rimes and Cibrian also made use of a rental house on L.A.'s west side. Berger denies he has been enabling an affair.

Rimes and Cibrian co-starred in Lifetime's Northern Lights earlier this year. Right around its premiere, they supposedly began lighting up the bedroom!

Meanwhile, news of Eddie having another affair - with 24-year-old model Scheana Marie Jancan, who has been linked to John Mayer - also just broke.

No word on when that started, or if LeAnn Rimes knows about it, or if she is really divorcing Dean Sheremet, as has been rumored in recent weeks.

Brandi Glanville did not elaborate as to which affair pissed her off more, but it's clear Eddie Cibrian was playing the field these past few months.

In recent weeks, speculation has grown that John Mayer has moved on from his relationship with Jen Aniston by enjoying his new plaything Scheana Marie.

While the rock star has been quiet on the topic - except to deny he's with anyone - Scheana Marie has been quite willing to discuss their relationship.

In an interview with YoungHollywood.com, she explains that she first met John about a year ago while working at an event he attended with Aniston.

"She told me how pretty I was," the aspiring actress, whose full name is Scheana Marie Jancan, recalls. "She was sooo sweet. We all had some drinks."

It was only a few weeks ago, says Scheana, after his latest split from Jennifer Aniston, that she and the douchebag rekindled their "friendship."

"We were both going through a breakup at the same time," says the 24-year-old former Hawaiian Tropic model. "No one's cheating on anyone."

Does that mean that John and Scheana are a couple?

"He's not my boyfriend," clarifies Scheana Marie.

"We're hangin' out... You can leave it to your imagination."

Okay, whatever that means.

While she sort of denies any romance, Scheana Marie Jancan is open about the things she loves about John Mayer. And oh, how wonderful he is.

"I love his personality... he's funny... He can be, like, a dork," she says. "He's very considerate of other people."

Scheana also reveals that she and John often text each other and that these little messages brighten up her day... but they're not dating, people.

John Mayer engages the celebrity gossip media more than most. In fact, the singer seems eager to talk about himself even when saying little about himself.

Recently, Mayer has been linked to aspiring actress Scheana Marie, also known as Scheana Marie Jancan. The two have supposedly "hung out" for months.

But is Scheana Marie - who has an upcoming role as a pizza delivery girl on the Jonas Brothers' Disney show - just using her connection to Mayer for PR?

While she's out there telling people what a great guy John is and how it's a dream come true, Mayer is saying that she's not his official girlfriend.

Given that he said the same thing when he was with Jessica Simpson, though, how can we be sure he's telling the truth? His reasoning, as told to X17:

"If I had a girlfriend, she would be incredibly offended by me saying, 'I don't have a girlfriend.' That's how you can be sure," Mayer said.

"I could say, 'I'm not with anybody.' That'd be a death wish if you were the woman."

Ever the practical joker, the douchebag then went and kissed a random lady fan who just happened to be passing by and asked her to be his girlfriend.

In conclusion, Mayer has probably tapped that a$$, but isn't about to be roped into the whole commitment thing just because the former aspiring Hooters girl wants some attention. Either that, or she's just cool with him denying it.

John Mayer Proclaims Single Status

John Mayer's new piece, cocktail waitress Scheana Marie Jancan (who goes by the stage name of just Scheana Marie), sort of didn't totally deny dating the lame singer when contacted by People magazine over the weekend.

"We're friends," Marie said. "He's a great guy. He's funny and sweet."

Sources say Scheana Marie Jancan, 23, and John Mayer, 31, met at the Beverly Hills cigar club Grand Havana Room, where she works as a bartender and waitress.

Although the pair have not gone public, "they've spent time together over the past few months," a source says. "They're enjoying getting to know each other."

Once an aspiring Hooters girl, Scheana Marie is now an aspiring actress – who you can see as Maria, the pizza delivery girl of the Jonas Brothers' dreams on their upcoming Disney TV show JONAS, which debuts on the Disney Channel on May 2!

Yowza. If anything could make the Jonas Brothers toss those purity rings out the window, it'd be Marie. The plot of JONAS better include cold showers.

Also a model, she's appeared in ads for Pioneer, Doritos, Nissan and Toyota. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Azusa Pacific University.

As for her douchebag boyfriend, he's been holed up in his studio in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley working on an album, tentatively titled Battle Studies.

Yesterday, we reported that John Mayer and his new piece, Scheana Marie Jancan, met at a Beverly Hills lounge where Jancan was serving up drinks.

The two hit it off and exchanged numbers, and soon enough, they were also exchanging bodily fluids at his rented home in Calabasas, Calif.

Mayer's new plaything loves it because there's always plenty of beer and food to go around, according to celebrity gossip sources. Really.

The aspiring actress and model, 24, has so far found more success as a waitress, though she obtained a trademark for the name Miss Scheana Marie (just in case) and was recently named runner-up in a Hawaiian Tropic pageant.

Interestingly, Scheana Jancan was only 19 when she and other prospective Hooters girls sued the restaurant chain after they discovered they were being filmed after being instructed to don uniforms as part of their job interview.

Jancan went public with the sordid details of and eventually 40 other women joined the class action suit in 2004, though police indicate that they have video evidence that as many as 82 women were filmed in various states of undress.

Looks like John Mayer is done pining Jennifer Aniston.

According to Star Magazine, the douchebag has moved on to a newer, younger and possibly made-up piece of tail - aspiring actress Scheana Marie Jancan!

They met in early April at a Beverly Hills lounge.

Scheana Marie Jancan, who turns 24 in May, was serving drinks at The Grand Havana Room when John Mayer started charming her and chatting her up.

It apparently didn't take long for JM to work it.

“Scheana was shocked and thrilled when John asked her out,” a source said.

John Mayer sets his sights on a new conquest.

“She always thought he was hot, and said yes right away, writing down her cell number on a napkin. They flirted the whole time, and he told her she was cute.”

Things have progressed quickly, as they often do with this man-whore. The brunette, who has modeled for Ed Hardy and Doritos and was a runner-up in a Hawaiian Tropic Pageant, has been hanging out at his rented home in Calabasas, Calif.

“There is always food and beer around," says the Star source, randomly and amusingly. "Scheana is having loads of fun there; it’s like spring break!”

Nice that John keeps her well fed and drunk at all times. Scheana Marie Jancan also raves to friends that John is “tender, sweet and creative."
