Just what is the relationship between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson based on?

"Lindsay just feels safe with her," a friend, Cory Kennedy, told People Magazine. "I just feel like they have a very loyal and trustworthy relationship, which is really hard to come across in the world that Lindsay's in. It's a trust thing."

Are these two just friends? Or has Samantha Ronson seen Lindsay Lohan nude?

Added DJ Steve Aoki, a close friend of both Lohan and Ronson:

"[Samantha] truly is a friend to her. She's a very positive influence... [Lindsay] sees that and sees a genuine, good friendship."

Conversely, Dina Lohan sees that and wonders how she can plant herself in the spotlight as a result.

We can't say for sure what happened after this moment between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, but the Firecrotch Queen looks rather excited to be leading Ronson away from the party afterwards, doesn't she?

According to reports, Lindsay Lohan is treating Samantha Ronson like a bottle of Grey Goose vodka. She won't let anyone else near her BFF.

The New York Post says the two spent the weekend partying at the Beatrice Inn on Friday and Hawaiian Tropic Zone on Saturday.

During the first evening out, Lohan supposedly got into a fight with another emaciated young celebrity that was paying attention to Ronson.

"Ashley Olsen said hello to Sam at the Beatrice, and Lindsay screamed at her, 'Get your 15-year-old 'Full House' a - - away from my girlfriend,'" said a witness.

Samantha Ronson is the weird-looking apple of Lindsay Lohan's eye.

Sources also claim that Lohan has such a crush on Ronson that she's created a Facebook profile under the name "Lindsay Ronson."

Right. We'll believe that when we see it.

Oh. Here it is.

In a tale of two celebrities, Miley Cyrus has a best friend named Mandy Jiroux. The two of them make innocent, fun-loved videos together and dub them The Miley and Mandy Show.

Conversely, Lindsay Lohan has a best friend named Samantha Ronson. The two of them spent this past weekend hitting the hottest clubs in Los Angeles.

According to People, the pair got a jumpstart on the weekend Thursday night, heading to the upstairs VIP area of Goa. Lohan (who has said she's "back on track" after her stints in rehab) bopped to the music as Ronson spun in the DJ booth.

"Lohan was obviously having a good time, dancing very sexy," said a witness. "She was quite the center of attention."

Friday, it was all about Foxtail: Lohan sat at a table near the dance floor (drinking water, onlookers said), while Ronson greeted friends. Later, they snuck a few cigarettes at their indoor table.

Finally, Saturday night, Lindsay and Samantha went to Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. The actress kept things low-key, but perked up noticeably when Ronson spun Madonna and Justin Timberlake's new single, "4 Minutes."

Is there anything wrong with these actions? Not inherently. But compare the backgrounds of Cyrus and Lohan and then consider the company they keep.

It's official. A judge has ruled that Perez Hilton may legally continue to desecrate the otherwise good name of celebrity gossip at his leisure.

Or something like that.

An L.A. County Superior Court judge just dismissed a $20 million lawsuit filed by DJ Samantha Ronson against Hilton over an article the rotund one ran in May.

The item suggested that Samantha Ronson supplied the cocaine that was found in Lindsay Lohan's car during her infamous Memorial Day DUI crash.

The First Amendment (and Perez Hilton) soundly defeated a lowly DJ.

Perez Hilton, a.k.a. Mario Lavandeira, argued that Ronson's lawsuit was an unfair attempt to stifle his right of free speech, and the judge agreed.

The judge also ordered Ronson to pay all of Perez's legal fees. Oh snap.

Well, that's that. No matter how you look at it, this is a truly a great day, and a great victory for celebrity news... more unfunny, doctored celebrity pics for all.

A judge said Wednesday that a celebrity gossip blogger may be questioned about a report claiming Lindsay Lohan's friend planted cocaine in the actress' car.

DJ Samantha Ronson has sued Perez Hilton for defamation after he repeated a report that first appeared on the Web site CelebrityBabylon.com.

"I am not now and have never been a drug user," Samantha Ronson stated in a declaration filed with the court Monday. "I have never handled or touched cocaine. I did not place any cocaine at any place at any time."

According to the $20 million lawsuit, both postings defamed Ronson by stating she planted drugs found in Lohan's car after it crashed into a tree in Beverly Hills on May 26, and that she set up her friend to be photographed while under the influence.

Superior Court Judge Elihu M. Berle said Ronson's attorneys can take a four-hour deposition from Perez Hilton (real name Mario Lavandeira).

Hilton's attorney, Bryan J. Freedman (no relation to Britney Spears' friend and choreographer Brian Friedman) said his client made sure the data was "accurate and trustworthy" before he published it on his Hollywood gossip blog.

"He stands by his actions as being legal and proper and believes that the First Amendment protects him," Freedman said.

Ronson must prove that even if the report was erroneous, Perez Hilton acted maliciously, Freedman said after the hearing.

"The judge, at this point, found that they didn't provide any evidence of malice... so the judge was going to give them one more bite of the apple" by allowing the attorneys to question Hilton, he said.

"If Ms. Ronson is attempting to get some sort of relief in court and to show that Mario Lavandeira had any malice, I think she's going to a hardware store for milk. It's not going to happen," Freedman said.

Samantha Ronson also sued celebrity photo agency head Jill Ishkanian, whose Sunset Photo and News Agency operates CelebrityBabylon.com.

However, the judge was told Wednesday that Ishkanian's attorneys settled with Ronson, whose lawyer, Martin Garbus said the case may be dismissed Thursday.

Lindsay Lohan's gal pal, Samantha Ronson, has blind-sided two popular celebrity gossip blogs with a $20 million libel suit late last week.

According to the New York Daily News, Ronson struck back at suggestions that cocaine found in Lindsay Lohan's car was actually hers.

The rumors began after the now infamous fender bender that landed the Mean Girls actress in rehab.

Named as defendants were Jill Ishkanian, who runs the Sunset Photo and News Agency, and Mario Lavandeira, who blogs under the name Perez Hilton.

In June, Perez Hilton repeated the cocaine claim that first appeared on Celebrity Babylon, a Web site operated by Sunset Photo.

That site first claimed that Samantha Ronson, a budding celebrity disc jockey in her own right, was "making a tidy profit on the side, shilling Lindsay Lohan, 20, out to photographers eager to get her photo looking passed out and wasted."

The story about Ronson, a poor gal's DJ AM, continues:

"If that wasn't shocking enough, sources say that it was Samantha Ronson who was holding the cocaine later found in Lindsay Lohan's car."

Although the suit was filed in L.A. Superior Court Thursday, Ishkanian said she wasn't aware of it. She also did not say anything about the rumored Lindsay Lohan nude pics.

"This is the first I'm hearing about it," she said yesterday. "I have no comment."

Perez Hilton could not immediately be contacted, as he was probably too busy doodling on celebrity photos he neglected to pay royalties for.

Photos of Lindsay Lohan taking her clothes of aren't exactly celebrity news.

In fact, it would be more groundbreaking if this promiscuous star actually kept her clothes on throughout the course of an evening.

Nevertheless, shots of the Firecrotch Queen making love to a stripper's pole like it's AJ Lamas seems noteworthy. Who cares if this is actually just a still image from Lohan's upcoming movie, I Know Who Killed Me? It still fits her reputation.

Meanwhile, recent MySpace news makes us wonder just who Lohan was thinking about as she seduced the camera in this photo.

A supposed friend of the actress has leaked the contents of Lindsay's online account to celebrity gossip sources. And it appears as though there are openly gay notes to DJ pal Samantha Ronson in there.

Under the headline "Lindsay's Lesbian Love Letters!" Lohano allegedly writes, "Babe, if I didn't have you in my life, I should just go die. I want to marry you and have children with you."

In a separate late-night missive excerpted by the New York Daily News, Lindsay says to Ronson: "Go to bed, babe. I love you â€" Lindsay Ronson."

This is no real shocker, really. Lohan ran out of men to conquer a long time ago. Is it really a surprise she should now be included among the girl-on-girl action all-stars?
