Russell Crowe, Martha Stewart Come Together in the Name of Turkey Killing

One is known for hurling a telephone at hotel employees. The other is known for hurling insults at Donald Trump and Rachael Ray.

But nothing brings people together quite like carving up a murdered turkey for Thanksgiving. After all, when was the last time you even saw Russell Crowe smile?

He's certainly lighting up here, though. The actor and Martha Stewart are having a grand old time on the latter's cooking show. The only thing missing from the festivities?

Eminem, of course. But Stewart hopes she can change that.

Crowe Pissed at Talk of Steve Irwin Biopic

Just Say No!Oscar winner Russell Crowe said Tuesday he is "appalled" at rumours he was intent on garnering the lead role in film about late wildlife documentary maker Steve Irwin.

The Australian television network, ABC, quoted the New Zealand-born Crowe saying it was "awful that I have to deal with millions of people thinking I would dance on my friend's grave."

Crowe, 42, was a friend of the famed Crocodile Hunter and recorded a eulogy in New York City that was played at last week's memorial service at Irwin's Australia Zoo near Brisbane.

Irwin died September 4 after being speared in the heart by a stingray while snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.

The ABC also quoted Crowe as saying that money was the factor behind Hugh Jackman replacing him as Nicole Kidman's screen partner in director Baz Luhrmann's as-yet untitled Outback film.

Crowe had been picked for the role, but Jackman was a last-minute replacement for the Gladiator star as rehearsals loomed.

"I just didn't want to work on that movie in the type of environment that was being created because of the needs of the budget," Crowe said. "I do charity work -- but I don't do charity work for major studios."

You bet he doesn't. He does whatever he damn well wants! Crowe had no comment as to whether he would throw a phone at Jackman the next time the two cross paths.

Russell Crowe, Wife Welcome Second Child

Move over, Suri. Enough out of you, Shiloh. And what kind of name is Kingston?

Russell Crowe and his wife, Danielle Spencer, have joined the celebrity baby fray, welcoming the birth of their son, Tenyson Spencer Crowe, at 7:27 AM on July 7 at the Royal North Shore hospital in Sydney, Australia.

The Proud Parents

"Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well," Crowe's manager, Grant Vandenberg, told the press.

The couple already has a son, two-year old Charlie. Both sons have the middle name Spencer, after Danielle's maiden name. Earlier this year, the 42-year old Crowe explained to Tonight Show host Jay Leno how they shared the happy news with their toddler.

"He knows where the baby is in Mommy's tummy and knows that he was a baby once and there's another baby coming along. And we said, ‘Bubba, what do you want to call your brother?' and his first option was Pumpkinhead. But then the next day, he revised it and he changed it to Stinky," Crowe said.

Stinky or not, there's been a new addition to this happy family. The Oscar-winning Crowe met Spencer, now 36, way back in 1989 when they co-starred in The Crossing. They married in April 2003.
