Rebbie Jackson, Michael's older sister and perhaps the lowest-profile Jackson sibling, is in mourning following the death of her husband, Nathaniel Brown.

Rebbie and Nathaniel wed in 1968 (!) and have three kids, Stacee, 40, Yashi, 35, and Austin, 27.

Jackson's son, Michael's nephew, posted on Twitter, "I love you Dad... Thank you for showing me unconditional love and the example of being a good person."

Freddy E, a Seattle-based rapper known for his JerkTV videos on YouTube, has committed suicide. He was 22 years old.

The medical examiner confirmed yesterday that the artist (real name: Frederick E. Buhl) killed himself on Saturday via a rifle shot to the head. Especially disturbing? He Tweeted the final moments of his life.

David R. Ellis, a movie director who was behind the camera for Snakes on a Plane and Final Destination 2, passed away yesterday. He was 60 years old.

The cause of Ellis' death - which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa - is unknown at this time, but he was working on an anime-adaption of Kite with Samuel L. Jackson.

L.A. TV icon Huell Howser has passed away.

The California's Gold travel host was 67.

A rep for KCET tells TMZ that Howser died in his L.A. home late Sunday night of natural causes. Details surrounding his death have not been released.

Huell hosted his California travel show for 18 seasons, and only recently retired in November after completing over 440 episodes. He will be missed.

Chandler Wiliams, an Arena League football player who spent the 2012 season with the Tampa Bay Storm, died yesterday in South Florida. He was 27 years old.

Details are scarce, but the cause of death is likely heart-related, as Williams passed away during a flag football tournament in South Florida.

He had been a seventh-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2007.

New information has come in regarding the death of a paparazzi member who was trailing Justin Bieber's car in Los Angeles last night.

TMZ has identified the celebrity gossip reporter as Chris Guerra.

Guerra was reportedly trailing Bieber throughout New Year's Day, phoning someone associated with his photo agency around 5:30 p.m. and telling him Bieber's car had just pulled into the Beverly Hills Four Seasons.

Guerra then told his colleague that Bieber's Ferrari was pulling away and he had to follow it.

Sad news today out of the world of professional basketball.

Authorities have confirmed the death of Scott Sterling, the 32-year old son of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

Details are still coming in, but detectives arrived at Scott's Malibu home around 11:30 last night and reportedly discovered Scott's body; it is believed he died of a drug overdose.

Donald Sterling purchased the Clippers in 1981.

The team has enjoyed little success ever since, but it currently owns the best record in the NBA and became just the third squad in league history to complete an undefeated month in December.

Our thoughts go out to the Sterling family.

Oscar-winning sound editor Michael Hopkins has been killed in a fatal rafting accident in his native New Zealand, according to reports. He was only 53 years old.

He won Oscars for the The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in 2003 and King Kong in 2006. He also worked on Blade Runner, Superman, Octopussy and Transformers.

Hopkins first worked with director Peter Jackson on his 1992 movie Braindead, and was also part of Jackson's team for Heavenly Creatures and The Frighteners.

Timothy Henry Gray, a homeless man, died under a railroad overpass in Wyoming - just before learning he stood to inherit $19 million from a reclusive New Yorker.

Eccentric Huguette Clark (pictured) who died in 2011 and left nothing of her $300 million fortune to her family in her will, but relatives challenged the document.

That meant her great-nephew Gray, 60, stood to inherit $19 million.

Sadly, children playing on sleds discovered Gray's body in the snow on Thursday. The former cowboy died of hypothermia in the 10-degree Evanston, Wyoming weather.
