We figured it couldn't get any funnier than Bryan Cranston playing Word Sneak and having no clue of the meaning behind "Badonkadonk."

But we figured wrong.

Ricky Gervais stopped by The Tonight Show last night and was tasked with slipping words into his conversation with the host that included "gerbil," "Shaquille O'Neal" and "squeegee."

How did this lead to Gervais asking Fallon whether or not he has a nickname for his penis? And the two men simply falling apart with laughter?

Watch now to find out:

With the major networks descending on New York City this week in order to announce their upcoming lineups - peruse the 2014-2015 NBC schedule and Fox schedule now - we just have one question:

Is it too late for Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe to headline their very own series?

The comedian and the actor very much enjoyed a nigh of drinking together in Newcastle, England last night, chronicling the evening out in a series of hilarious Tweets.

Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe

"Who am I getting drunk with at the moment?" Gervais wrote along with a photo of the stars looking a tad disheveled at a restaurant.

Crowe replied to the message with: "@rickygervais Roger Moore?"

Ricky Gervais has created quite a bit of controversy over his reaction to the reaction of other people in the face of this week's Oklahoma tornado.

The comedian - who dared to mock Justin Bieber last month - retweeted an MTV News message Tuesday that read: “Beyonce, Rihanna & Katy Perry send prayers to #Oklahoma #PrayForOklahoma."

He wrote along with it: “I feel like an idiot now… I only sent money.”

Gervais then included the following hashtag/message on his account:

“You can support #Moore response by txting REDCROSS to 90999 to give $10, or online at redcross.org #ActuallyDoSomethingForOklahoma.”

Ricky Gervais is having some fun at Justin Bieber's expense.

Although the singer's fans may not see it that way.

In light of the singer saying Anne Frank would have been a Belieber, the comedian wrote on Twitter that he agreed with the artist, adding sarcastically:

"Anne Frank would've loved his stuff. It's perfect for being played really really quietly so no one can hear it. 30 million illiterate teenage girls are now crying and cutting and asking google 'Who is this bloody Anne woman that Justin likes so much?'"

Gervais concluded: "Joan of Arc was a great girl. I hope she would have been a Gervatheist."

Compared to his monologue from 2011, Ricky Gervais took it very easy on celebrities to open tonight's Golden Globe Awards. Celebrities in attendance, that is.

The comedian did get in a couple of digs at two THG mainstays, however, first comparing this ceremony to the Academy awards via this zinger:

“The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton. A bit louder, bit trashier, bit drunker, and more easily bought... allegedly.”

Gervais then turned his attention to Justin Bieber, referring to his paternity test scandal and expressing shock at the mere notion of Bieber as a father. Quipped the host:

“The only way that he could have impregnated a girl is if he borrowed one of Martha Stewart’s turkey basters.”

Eh, not bad. Fairly random, considering music is the one industry NOT recognized by the Golden Globes, but, hey, being referenced in a monologue means you've really made it. Wait, no one tell that to Kim.

Guess Ricky Gervais was not "totally unacceptable" as 2011 Golden Globes host after all.

Following a controversial stint MCing the ceremony in January - relive his best jokes HERE - the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has confirmed that the creator of The Office will return to the stage in a couple months.

“I mustn’t come out there as everyone’s mate and schmooze. That’s nauseating,” Gervais said following this year's gig. "I’m sorry if [people] were offended but I’m not sorry for anything I said. They hired me for a job and if they didn’t want me, they shouldn’t have hired me."

The 2012 Golden Globes will air on NBC on January 15. Are you excited for Gervais to host again?

The president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association did not think Ricky Gervais was very funny at host of The Golden Globes on Sunday.

But you know who did? Pretty much anyone with a sense of humor. Let's take a look at the celebrities that have Tweeted/voiced their support for Gervais over the last few days:

Larry King: The folks who put him on the Globes have no right to complain about Ricky Gervais. He does what he does. Why should it surprise them? You agree?

Elizabeth Banks: I thought RG was hilarious. Actors can take it. We have thick skins.

Jon Stewart: [I'm] offended that a comedian could be that funny at an awards show.

Damon Lindelof: In case you forgot what made David Brent so brilliant, it's that he made us feel unsafe, uncomfortable and unable to look away. BRAVORICKY.

Andrew Garfield: He's been terribly nasty and horribly rude and I think he's genius.

Christian Bale: Thank God for comedians. I’m hoping he’s going to keep going further.

Al Pacino: He’s a comic, so he’s going to go for it. He’s letting it go. You don’t know what [he's] going to say!

Do you think Gervais went too far at the ceremony?

He implied that Tom Cruise was gay. He made references to Robert Downey Jr. in rehab. He thanked God for making him an atheist.

At almost every opportunity during Sunday night's Golden Globes, Ricky Gervais went out of his way to subvert the atmosphere and people around him. But while the host says he has no regrets, Philip Berk has a different response.

Says the president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, who was lambasted as a senile man by Gervais during the ceremony: "He definitely crossed the line. Some of the things were totally unacceptable... Any of the references to individuals is certainly not something the Hollywood Foreign Press condones."

But many of them are things at which the public laughed. Watch Gervais in action and then vote: Did he go too far?

During an exchange with reporters last night, Tom Hanks said he could remember “when Ricky Gervais was a slightly chubby but very kind comedian.” Chimed in Tim Allen: “Neither of which he is now.”

Ouch.

Indeed, not every Golden Globe attendee enjoyed the host's routine at the ceremony, the first 10 minutes of which you can watch HERE and almost all of which included jabs at nominees, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and even religion at one point.

How did Gervais feel about his performance? After the event, he told The Los Angeles Times:

"I hope everyone took it well... I hope they can all take a bit of roasting from a nobody like me. Did I think twice about any of [the jokes]? No, I didn't. I'd say any of that to their faces, I'd walk up to them and say it. That's the test for me. And it's in good fun."
