We've learned a lot about wedding photos over the past few weeks.

To wit:

Now, Jeffrey Lewis Bennett of JLB Wedding in Detroit has given us another lesson: The future of the wedding photo is the GIF.

In the wake of Ramona Singer's divorce announcement, the father of one Real Housewives of New York City co-star is weighing in on its inevitability.

According to George Teichner, Aviva Drescher's dad and a newlywed himself, Ramona has taught him what precisely what NOT to do in a relationship.

  • Ramona, Mario Singer
  • George Teichner, Dana Cody

“Reality TV marriages and spectacle marriages become a ‘Dance of Dread,’” Teichner said, explaining his and Cody’s decision to keep their  wedding private.

“Why the incognito personal life? ‘Those whom the Gods will destroy ... they first make proud! Just review all the married couples on all reality TV shows."

“You will discover a disproportionate amount of acrimony and mental suffering, along with addiction to alcohol, cocaine, and pharmaceutical brain tablets"

"I.e. [the] Kardashians, Ramona [Singer].”

Likening his co-star's issues to Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Kind of a low blow, but there is something to be said about keeping things private.

This is a story you don't read every day:

Boy meets girl in Brazil. Boy and girl bond over having been abandoned by their mothers as children. Boy and girl get married. Boy and girl have a six-year old daughter.

The girl, Adriana, then appears on a radio show titled The Time Is Now, which reunites long-lost relatives. It connects Adriana with her mother, Maria, who tells her daughter that she also left a young son behind a long time ago.

And it turns out that son was Adriana's husband, Leandro.

"We thought it was funny that both our mothers had the same name, but it is a common name so we just thought it was a coincidence," Adriana told The Daily Mail.

The subject in the following video may be drunk.

But she may also be a genius.

Upon getting home around 2 a.m. on a recent night, the unnamed wife was hungry. But she was also out of bread and slices of cheese. So she improvised:

As documented by the most loving husband around (he tells his wife she looks "gorgeous" and he did the laundry), the wasted woman throws some Goldfish crackers on a plate, crisscrosses them with string cheese (the crisscross is key, people!) and comes up with...

... well, pretty much the same thing as she started with. But the process of getting there is hilarious to watch!

We could offer up much better snack recipes, but none would be more entertaining.

And the Internet is eternally grateful that he did so!

Flirting has been around for generations, but needless to say, the onslaught of technological devices and applications has taken it to new levels nowadays.

Notice we said levels, not heights. What technology provides in convenience, speed and efficiency, it taketh away in tact, grammar and excitement.

Our lack of inhibitions, shifting expectations and ability to fire off what's on our mind in nanoseconds have transformed flirting dramatically, and forever.

This can be good or bad for the potential relationships in question, but as we've seen time and again, it's hilarious to watch play out via text message.

For better or worse, these 21 people have mastered the art of flirting via text, Facebook, Twitter and other instant communication platforms. And we thank them.

Scroll through the gallery below and bow down to the masters ...

Sometimes, But Not All the Time
I don't always think about you naked, but when I do, it's presuambly a pleasing image.

Is there anything worse in life than wedding planning?

From the flowers to the band to the gold toilets to the guest list, organizing the details of one's big day is nearly enough to prompt one to simply elope.

But one awesomely honest bride-to-be has made her life easier in at least one of these regards, posting a message on Facebook that makes it very clear why you may not be invited to her wedding.

Anyone care to object to these perfectly valid points? If so... sorry. You're probably off the invite list as well.

Bride Explains Wedding Invitations

See, planning for a wedding doesn't need to be such hard work.

Sure, a conventional Hallmark greeting card can be poetic and swoon-worthy, but in many cases, it can also be nauseating and eye-rollingly unrealistic.

That's because in the real world, love isn't always super-sentimental, uber-romantic mush. It's the little things that keep us together through good and bad.

What if cards that humorously but seriously reflected this reality?

The braintrust at Etsy apparently thought the same thing, because a quick perusal of the site's romantic card collection reveals some very different options.

You won't see these in your local Hallmark store, that's for sure.

Scroll through these 13 honest greeting cards for couples with a sense of humor and, in many respects, more reasonable expectations for long-term relationships:

I Hate You the Least
Hey, that's nothing if not honest and when you're in a long term relationship, maybe the best you can hope for.

It's sad but true: penguins have trouble walking over ropes.

But it turns out they have no trouble at all helping a man propose.

In the following video, we meet Mitch and Casey, a couple whose relationship has often revolved around penguins (don't ask... or judge).

So when it came time to ask for Casey's hand in marriage, Mitch contacted the Pittsburgh Zoo, which helped him arrange a special backstage visit for the couple... that ended with a penguin waddling over, ring around neck, and stunning Casey into happiness.

Posing for a pregnancy photo by pretending to pump your expecting wife full of air? That's weird.
