While some sources claim Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush broke up over the simple matter of busy schedules, other stories behind the relationship's demise are far more sordid.

For example, was Kim receiving lewd text messages from Kanye West? Was Bush sleeping with another woman?

Yesterday, we cited the seemingly random accusation that Reggie was involved with a model while dating Kim. Supposedly, the months-long affair included rendezvous around the country, an arrangement Kardashian eventually discovered.

Now, Perez Hilton claims he's identified Reggie's other woman: say hello to stripper Carmen Ortega!

Hmmm... perhaps Reggie Bush really was cheating on Kim Kardashian with Carmen Ortega. The women do have something(s) in common!

Perez also describes Ortega as a "professional escort."

Sounds fishy, no? Would Reggie Bush really need a professional escort? Especially when he was already dating Kim Kardashian?

Reggie Bush is a professional football player.

Kim Kardashian is a partial clothing store owner that appears at clubs and gets paid to pose in a bikini.

According to sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, these professions simply couldn't coincide successfully, as an insider told People that dueling careers are to blame for Reggie and Kim's break-up.

"Reggie really wanted her in New Orleans when he was there playing but Kim is traveling more than ever," one source said. "She has so much going on, it just wasn’t physically possible for her to be there the entire season. With their schedules, it wasn't realistic anymore."

What about a long-distance relationship? Surely a lot of celebrities couples don't spend all that much time together.

"It just wasn't fair to either of them," the insider said of that arrangement. "They wanted it to be all or nothing."

Hmmm.... are you buying this? Or do the rumors of infidelity going around - including the whopper that Kim was hooking up with Kanye West! - make more sense as a reason for this sudden break-up?

We knew there was something fishy about the Kim Kardashian/Reggie Bush break-up.

After all, sources claimed it was a mutual decision because the couple simply could not make time for one another; Reggie was off to New Orleans to practice with the Saints, while Kim had to film more episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

But isn't that reality show about her life? Why couldn't it simply film her life with Bush?

Now, a more sordid side to the story is coming out - and it points a cheating finger at Kim and... Kanye West!

Sources have told Fox News that “Reggie saw text messages on Kim’s phone from Kanye and flipped out on her."

Needless to say, these weren't your basic, harmless messages, the insider added.

“The texts referenced a night they hung out, how much fun he had, how hot Kim was, and more racy things that got Reggie’s imagination running."

Note to Bush: save your imagination the work. You can just search the Internet for racy images of Kim.

Reportedly, Reggie confronted Kim, the pair fought over her interactions with Kanye and "they realized there were trust issues on both sides, and couldn’t go forward,” said the source.

We didn't see this koming.

Following two years of dating, numerous engagement rumors and a trip together to Africa just this month, Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have ended their relationship. The reason behind the break-up?

The busy schedule of an NFL running back and of... whatever Kim does for a living.

"They never get to see each other, ever," a source told People. "It's been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it's tough."

And there's just no way Kim could have taken time out of her schedule of posing in a bikini to be there with him.

Kim Kardashian is single again. Who should she have sex with on camera date next?

While one insider swears this was a "mutual decision" and neither side cheated on the other, another friend of the pair said:

"They were the cutest couple. They loved each other so much, but they hardly saw each other. He starts his football training camp this week and she starts filming Keeping up with the Kardashians this week. They just need a break right now."

As much as we love writing about this large-breasted reality star, we're growing a bit tired of her constantly talking about your eventual wedding. Just pop the question, walk down the aisle, sell the photos for millions and get it over with already!

Kim kontinued the marriage hype over the weekend, as she konfided in E! News that she's already been engagement ring shopping.

"It's just easier," she said to Marc Malkin. "Isn't it easy if someone's like, 'This is exactly what I want.' It'll make your life so easy."

So, will these eventual nuptials be kaught on kamera? Don't kount on it, Kardashian said.

"Reggie would rather die. He would rather not marry me. He's very private. We're complete opposites."

In other words: Bush would never let his aspiring rapper of a significant other film him having intercourse with her. That's just not how he rolls.

There are some fans who may not like the thought of Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian being together forever. But the two look like they're built to last.

Asked if her hunky NFL star beau might be the last man she ever dates, the former sex tape star said that marriage is "close" ... albeit not too close.

"So many people rush into it and it's all this pressure because they see we've been together for a while," Kim who has been dating Reggie since 2007, told People.

"But, we're heading that direction. When we're ready, we'll know."

So that means it's a strong possibility?

"Definitely," the one-time sex tape partner of the great Ray J said at The Pink Agenda Toasts Mother's Day event in L.A. "It's in our future. We've been together two years but we are taking our time. Hopefully this one will last because of it."

"We're just dating and normal and happy and there's no rush."

When the time comes to pop the question, Reggie Bush doesn't have to worry about seeking blessings - he already has the approval of the sexy celeb's family.

Her mother, Kris, who along with Kim co-hosted a Martini & Rossi-sponsored event at the W Los Angeles WET Pool, had high praise for the New Orleans Saint.

"I think he has a lot of respect for Kim and he loves her so much, you can just see it," Kris gushed. "He's just a really nice guy. When you date somebody in our family it's like you kind of date the whole family and he really fits in well."

Except for his name, that is. You'd think with no initials starting in K, the football star would be automatically ostracized, but good to see they're tolerant.

We look forward to the day the lovebirds tie the knot. In the meantime, we look forward to daily batches of useless but hot Kim Kardashian pictures.

Brittny Gastineau has a message for celebrity gossip lovers:

Prepare for the cutest babies in the history of the world!

The socialite, who starred in E!'s Gastineau Girls, told Us Weekly that good friend Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Reggie Bush have wedding bells and dirty diapers in their future.

"I think Kim and Reggie are definitely going to get married and have babies," Gastineau said at a club opening yesterday. "They’re going to have the cutest babies ever. They really are."

Ouch, Honor Marie. Pretend you didn't hear that.

So, which side of the couple will these adorable children look like? Gastineau said it won't matter.

"They both have very similar smiles. Their kid is going to have a million-dollar smile."

Hmmm, only one million dollars?!? Based on the financial background of Brittny's family, sounds like she's actually insulting Kim's future baby with that comment.

Real life isn't much different than high school, says the new GQ feature story on Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush, cleverly titled "The Saint and the Sinner."

The football star still gets the girl. The difference is, as you get older, things get a bit more complicated. Take Reggie, the Heisman-winning tailback for the New Orleans Saints, and girlfriend Kim, the 2009 edition of the storybook princess.

Her father is the late O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian. Her stepdad is Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner. Raised in L.A., Kim Kardashian has the beautiful face, a sexy body of comic-book proportions, even her own reality show.

Kim also got famous according to the Paris Hilton blueprint after Ray J tagged that booty feverishly on tape, but that's neither here nor there at this point. The bottom line is that Reggie and Kim are pretty much the perfect Hollywood couple.

It’s up to you whether to hate 'em or hate to love 'em - just like high school. Although it's worth noting that compared to most celebrity relationships out there, these two actually seem relatively stable and normal. Bizarre, indeed.

Reggie Bush turned 24 last week.

In his honor, girlfriend Kim Kardashian said she got her man "a really nice watch," a rather mundane gift compared to what she got him behind closed doors (if you know what we mean!).

Kim also partied it up with Bush, who she told reporters has "gotten a lot more comfortable in front of the cameras."

That may be true. But he'll never kompete with the komfort Kim exhibits in front of a kamera.
