Has Reese Witherspoon found a new man?

The Academy Award winner dined with agent Jim Toth at a Santa Monica restaurant last week, multiple sources confirm. Toth works at Hollywood's Creative Artists Agency.

The pair reportedly settled into a corner table at the establishment and "were very flirtatious throughout dinner," said a witness. "They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. Reese seemed very happy. She was smiling all dinner. The mood was upbeat and really good."

Witherspoon is the mother of two. She broke up with Jake Gyllenhaal in December.

After long meal, this burgeoning couple walked outside and said goodbye around 11 p.m.

"Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug," said an onlooker. "They kissed bye on the cheek – but it was a very friendly goodbye."

If we know what he means!

The two end things two weeks ago, even as they insisted they hadn't. "They needed time to figure it out and they were on different coasts," a source says.

"When they were finally together, they talked things out and decided they're not going to be together anymore. There are no other people involved."

"The relationship just ended, as is often the case. It just fizzled out. But they also wanted to be careful and private about it because of Reese's kids."

FAREWELL, GYLLENSPOON: Jake and Reese had a good run.

The new never talked about their romance. Earlier this month, Gyllenhaal made headline news when he used the g-word while promoting Brothers.

"I've learned so much from the kids in my life, and somehow they just become the center of your life and the way you look at things," the actor said.

"Obviously I exist in my girlfriend's world and my sister's world in a different way, but it's opened my heart and I want to be grown up as a result of it."

For now, though, it's a return to bachelorhood for ol' Jake.

Contrary to reports that surfaced elsewhere this weekend, Sunday, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have not broken up. Phew! We knew it wasn't true!

Her rep said late yesterday: "It's not true. They have not split."

The actress met Gyllenhaal while filming 2007's Rendition, and the pair stepped out together shortly thereafter, confirming their relationship in summer 2008.

In the April 2009 issue of Elle, the Oscar-winning mother of two and ex-wife of Ryan Phillippe gushed about Jake: "He's fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy."

Couples come and go, but Gyllenspoon remains intact.

Reese divorced Ryan in 2007 after eight years together; they have two children: Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6. Gyllenhaal's previous girlfriend was Kirsten Dunst.

Witherspoon told Parade magazine last year, "Things change ... But your ability to love, that remains intact. Oh, I have a lot of hope for love! I do!"

Glad to hear that hope springs eternal. Or at least right now. Just don't read anything about David and Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, guys. Just don't.

With the launch of her new perfume, Reese Witherspoon is definitely In Bloom ... but can she complete with the great 50 Cent in the celebrity fragrance department?

Reese's new scent, In Bloom, reflects her new attitude toward life, the Oscar winner says, while incorporating memories from her childhood into one special product.

"I thought it should evoke a feeling that was reflective of what was going on in my life. I think In Bloom captures the idea that I'm at a time in my life where I feel confident with my work, my personal life, and that it's a time to blossom."

Meanwhile, 50 Cent is gearing up to launch his newest men’s fragrance, Power by Fifty Cent, which evokes fond memories of marijuana, Hennessy and gunpowder.

Just kidding. The "masculine fragrance mixes notes like lemon leaves, black pepper, coriander and nutmeg," which all add up, 50 Cent says, to "a whiff of success."

“I really wanted to bottle up the rush it gives you so my fans can make it a part of their lifestyle,” he explains in a release. Power by Fifty Cent launches this Friday.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe finalized their divorce yesterday.

According to documents dated June 12, the former couple "have settled all their remaining issues in these proceedings." Witherspoon filed for divorce in 2006, citing irreconcilable differences.
