A homeless burn victim who came to Reddit to share his story walked away with a bunch of new friends and generous donations from the community.

Chris Tomlinson, 28, hosted an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit on Sunday and users were so inspired by his experience that they’ve rallied around him.

They have already donated nearly $2,000 to support Tomlinson.

The candid survivor shared the horrific details of how he was burned on more than 98 percent of his body as a baby and how he still faces obstacles.

When he was nearly 2 years old, he slipped out of a swing in his Florida backyard and ventured to the family's shed when his mom wasn’t looking.

Let's say you weren't impressed by the movie trailer proposal. It wasn't nearly as public, or perhaps nearly as "internetty" as you like, or maybe it just didn't include enough commissioned art.

Well thankfully Reddit user, technocracy, is here to save the day.

Internet Proposal

He took to the social news site to propose to his girlfriend in a unique manner, using only well known internet memes and plenty of commissioned art featuring the couple. Everyone from Confession Bear to Success Kid and even Cool Guy Greg made an appearance.

Sadly there was no Chemistry Cat or Insanity Wolf but there is such thing as an embarrassment of riches so perhaps it's for the best.

Despite many naysaying fellow redditors, the proposal seemed to work its magic and the happy couple are now engaged. Huzzah!

The mother of 2-year-old cancer patient Hazel Hammersley playfully posted a sign made of medical tape in the window of her daughter's hospital room that read "SEND PIZZA."

Never did she expect that someone would photograph the SOS, then post it on Reddit, where users pooled together to grant the request for the toddler and her family.

And then some.

Hazel

So overwhelmed was the hospital by random pizza deliveries from across the United States that the family had to politely call off the request for pies!

It came as a welcome respite from the toddler's difficult fight ahead.

This photo from New York's Gay Pride Parade is setting Reddit on fire.

Why? There are two distinct possibilities, as THG sees it:

  1. It's two human beings showing that all of us are created equal, that we are who we are, and that all love is truly beautiful and worth appreciating.
  2. It's two hot girls kissing.

Who would've guessed Lady Gaga's National Anthem performance - during which she shouted out the "rainbow flag" and changed "home of the brave" to "home for the gays" - would be the second-most buzzed-about moment from the annual LGBT celebration ...

A great hidden yearbook quote containing Notorious B.I.G. lyrics is making the rounds on Reddit, and you won't believe how Jessica Lee masked them.

At a glance, it's merely a list of elements: "Fluorine uranium carbon potassium bismuth technetium helium sulfur germanium thulium oxygen neon yttrium."

Those elements' periodic symbols actually spell out "F**k Bitches Get Money," an excerpt from the hit "Get Money," by Biggie Smalls and Jr. M.A.F.I.A.

In other news, Jessica Lee is coolest chemistry nerd of all time. Sorry, Walter White.

Two quick notes to American fast food employees:

  1. Please stop doing gross stuff with the food
  2. At least stop taking photos of it if you do

Actually, never mind the second step. If you're dumb enough to do #1, you'll obviously want to share it, and we can at least help you get fired that way.

Wendy's Frosty Guy

The dude above, guzzling straight from the Wendy's Frosty machine (the vanilla kind, for unknown reasons), became a viral hit after his pic hit Reddit.

Not by his doing. "I was going to buy a frosty from Wendy's until I saw the employee do this," the poster wrote, and shortly thereafter, the guy got 86'd.

Chalk another one up for Mila Kunis.

After Maxim's Hot 100 list surprisingly placed Miley Cyrus at #1, one Reddit user was beside himself, and thusly decided to take matters into his own hands.

Daxl70 urged the Celebs subreddit to vote on its favorite leading ladies, and came up with his own ranking system. In the end, Mila Kunis came out on top.

Mila Kunis: HOT!

Each participating user had to post his own list of hottest women, numbered 1-10. The order mattered, with greater weight assigned to higher-ranked stars.

After all the lists - which included 220 different women - were tabulated, Kunis won by a landslide, which isn't too surprising given her recent list of accolades.

After all, she was also named FHM's "Sexiest Woman in the World", Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive" and Details' "Most F--kable Celebrity" ... you get the idea.

What do you think: Is Mila #1?!

A puppy born with markings suggesting that she has a mustache has become a Reddit phenomenon - and you won't believe what she looks like now!

Actually, you probably would believe it. The 'stache is real, and pretty spectacular. She may be growing up, but she remains dapper in all facets of life.

Here's the photo that first captured the web's fascination:

Mustache Puppy

Fake as it may appear, it's not. That's just how a patch of black fur amazingly grew in on the otherwise white face of this sweetly bi-colored canine.

Now check out what she looks like after a few months - courtesy of an update on Reddit from the owner - in a couple of photos after the jump!

The Facebook page of an Arizona bakery became a national story after the owners of Amy's Baking Company were featured on Gordon Ramsay's FOX show.

But the insane-seeming duo now says they had nothing to do with the EPIC rants that followed their Kitchen Nightmares appearance, which was ridiculed online.

Instead, they're playing the "hacking" card.

Amy's Baking Company

The couple’s behavior on the show was beyond bad - it was even too much for Ramsay, who walked out before renovations in the May 10 episode.

The Scottsdale, Ariz., establishment was accused of stealing tips from employees, selling desserts from elsewhere and being rude to customers.

On last week's episode of Fox's Kitchen Nightmares, loudmouth UK chef Gordon Ramsay paid a visit to Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Owners Samy and Amy Bouzaglo were apparently such a “nightmare” to work with that Ramsay canned them. Customers aren’t exactly fond of Amy’s either.

Samy and Amy Bouzaglo

Yelp reviews call the restaurant itself “horrible” and accuse the owners of stealing waitresses’ tips ... and of being tyrannical nut jobs on social media.

Not even Ramsay could convince the stubborn owner to change her behavior, which only became more evident after their exploits aired on Fox.

The show caught the attention of Reddit, whose users slammed the restaurant's Facebook page with comments, triggering an epic social media meltdown.
